In the next moment—
Boom!
A terrible explosion erupted from the upper body of the super giant.
At the same time, thick smoke and dust enveloped the giant, halting the massive arm he was about to swing. The impact stunned the giant, causing him to stumble back a few steps.
And then—another earth-shaking rumble followed.
"Geez, it'd be better if he stopped," Yami muttered. "Just from those two steps, he's doing more damage than the monsters in Ultraman. The rate of destruction is insane!"
Feeling the loss of countless lives, Yami rubbed his forehead helpless.
Although the deaths weren't directly his fault, he felt somewhat responsible. His conscience weighed heavy. "The only way to make up for it is to take down this giant, once and for all."
"But looking at him now, his defense isn't as tough as I thought."
As Yami finished speaking, the smoke began to clear, revealing the giant's battered body.
The once-mighty super giant was now covered in gashes and wounds where the treasures had struck. Blood flowed from his bare body.
The power of the Noble Phantasm had clearly left its mark, and the giant's resilience was not as formidable as expected.
However, the inventor riding on the giant's shoulder wasn't as lucky.
Although Yami hadn't targeted him directly, the explosion from the treasure had vaporized him on the spot.
"Brother!" the giant roared, his voice filled with anguish. "Why? Why did this happen?"
"I only wanted power... I just became the strongest man! Why did you leave me?!"
The giant wailed in grief.
Even his cries were so powerful that they blew down several buildings around him, causing further destruction. His sheer size made every movement a disaster for the humans below.
"Who... who killed my brother?!" he howled in fury. "I'll tear you to pieces! I'll unleash the full power of the two of us!"
After a moment of madness, the giant calmed down slightly, scanning the direction from which the treasure had flown.
And there, he found Yami.
The giant's eyes turned blood-red with rage.
"Was it you? Did you kill my brother, you insignificant bug?!"
"Die!" he roared.
The giant crouched, preparing to charge at Yami.
If he managed to do so, the entire city would be demolished, with countless lives lost.
Yami couldn't let that happen.
"I can't let you run wild like that," Yami said calmly. "And the size difference between us is too large. I don't feel like dragging this out. So, die right here."
Yami's voice was cold and steady.
He raised his hand, and with a simple gesture toward the giant, space itself compressed around the giant's body, freezing him in place.
The immense force of the compressed space slowly shrank the giant into a tight ball.
"What... what is this?!"
"You think you can stop me? Wishful thinking! I'm the strongest man in the world! I'll crush you with my power!" the giant shouted defiantly, his muscles swelling as he struggled to break free.
The giant's muscles expanded visibly, as if he was trying to use brute force to shatter the space prison.
But reality was cruel.
No matter how hard he tried, Yami stood there, completely unbothered.
"It's no use," Yami said with a sigh. "There may be some people who can break through anything with sheer strength—but you're not one of them."
Saitama might have been the type to break all limits with raw power, and that's why Yami didn't feel the need to fight him yet. But for this drug-enhanced monster, it was different.
"This ends now. Die."
With those words, a strange but immense weapon appeared in Yami's hand.
It was the Noble Phantasm 'Shooting Hundred Heads,' a treasure from Hercules.
Yami swung the axe-sword, unleashing a terrible wind pressure that spanned the distance, slicing through space, and cutting cleanly through the giant's neck as if it were soft sand.
"It's over."
The 'Shooting Hundred Heads' in Yami's hand dissipated into the air.
Yami raised his right index finger and gave a light wave in the giant's direction.
A multitude of space blades slashed through the giant's body, slicing it into countless small pieces before flinging them into an unknown corner of space.
The city, once on the brink of destruction, was now safe.
"Phew, finally done. Barely passable," Yami said with a tired sigh.
"I don't need to deal with the aftermath. The Hero Association can handle that. Let's head back."
And with that, Yami quietly disappeared from the roof of the hotel.

Meanwhile, the situation in City D was quickly brought to the attention of the Hero Association.
The information spread rapidly, and the Hero Association soon had a detailed report on the appearance of the monster, as well as Yami's involvement in taking it down.
"A mysterious individual has been identified. All personnel are advised not to act hastily."
"I'll go personally. If I don't return, the operations of the Hero Association will be left in your hands."
With those words, Sitch boarded a helicopter bound for City D.
At the same time, other forces were beginning to stir.
The news had caught the attention of many consortiums. With their own informants within the Hero Association, they quickly learned about the events in City D.
Such a powerful being was someone worth recruiting.
After all, while they had always wanted to forge ties with S-class heroes, not all S-class heroes were open to such business.
Now, a new and unaffiliated powerhouse had appeared. If they could win him over, it would be a great boon.
Thus, many representatives from various consortiums began making their way to City D.
In an instant, the city became the focal point of the world.
