Chapter 110 - Ning Rongrong’s Determination

As soon as Wukong lifted them into the air and started flying at incredible speed, Ning Rongrong screamed at the top of her lungs—not out of excitement, but sheer terror.

It was a hundred times more thrilling than a roller coaster.

Zhu Zhuqing watched the scene with exasperation. She didn't show much reaction to Wukong's obvious affection for Ning Rongrong. After all, Wukong had said before, "Saiyan blood likes strong women," which was a huge reassurance.

How strong could a support-type Soul Master really be? Could some training really make them stronger than a battle-type Soul Master?

Although Zhu Zhuqing had quietly accepted Wukong's choice to pursue other women, it still stung a little to see it in action. Moreover, her impression of Ning Rongrong wasn't particularly favorable.

"Hey, big sis, stop screaming! You're going to scare all the birds away!" Wukong called back, losing patience with her constant yelling.

"Then slow down! My hair is about to be blown off!" Ning Rongrong snapped back with her little witch temper.

Back at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Sword Douluo and Bone Douluo had flown with her before. But how fast could two non-flight-type Douluos really go, especially while keeping her safe?

This time, Wukong activated his burst energy mode, flying far faster than any ordinary Douluo. It was normal for Ning Rongrong to be scared and a little crazy with excitement.

Wukong smirked inwardly. He hadn't intended to change her personality, and now it was clear that wasn't going to happen.

With Ning Rongrong joining him, Wukong already had a plan for their next stage of training. Once mastered, the two of them would see a massive leap in strength—Ning Rongrong might even be able to spar with battle-type Soul Masters.

"Where exactly are you taking us?" Zhu Zhuqing finally asked, noticing Wukong had yet to descend.

Before leaving, Wukong had promised a training area outside Shrek Academy that would yield tremendous gains.

What could it be?

"Remember the aura I gave you before?" Wukong asked, focusing straight ahead.

"Of course! That power has fully fused with my soul energy. My physique is now incredibly strong!" Zhu Zhuqing said proudly, patting her chest.

"Good. I'll teach you how to properly use that power. This will take your strength to the next level." Wukong accelerated his flight, tightening his grip on Ning Rongrong, and headed toward the so-called training site.

"This is the training place?" Ning Rongrong looked around, confused.

Zhu Zhuqing shared the same doubts. It looked almost like Shrek Academy itself.

Wukong had discovered this place by chance while traveling from Wu Hun City to Soto City to meet Zhu Zhuqing. He had always planned to bring her here for training, and now he finally did.

"Yes, this is it," Wukong said, folding his arms over his chest, satisfied.

It was the shore of a lake, surrounded by a forest of pine trees, giving off a mysterious aura. The occasional bird call, small soul beasts' cries, and gentle waves from the lake made the place calming.

"This place has mountains and water, fulfilling all training needs. Food is easy—you can fish from the lake, or if lucky, catch a water monster. You can also forage for mushrooms or hunt soul beasts in the forest. This is the perfect training ground," Wukong explained, recalling how much better this environment was than the hellish training camp at the Spirit Hall.

"Now, let's get down to business." Wukong turned to the two, his tone serious.

Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong immediately tensed, noticing the change in his expression.

"Ning Rongrong…" Wukong addressed her first.

"What is it?" she asked, surprised that he had spoken to her before anyone else.

"Have you thought carefully about what I told you? If you're serious about training, I can guide you more. But if you continue like before… well, let's be honest."

Without wasting words, Wukong got straight to the point, questioning Ning Rongrong's attitude toward training. Attitude, after all, affects everything.

Her eyes hardened, determination shining through.

"I've thought it through! Wukong, you're right. Everything I have now—the status, the strength—comes from the efforts of my ancestors. My previous misbehavior was wrong, and I will change."

"I'll strive to make the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect stronger and eternal!" Ning Rongrong clenched her tiny fists, resolute in her decision to train seriously.

"Then there's no problem," Wukong said with a smile, like a proud father watching his daughter finally mature.

Ning Rongrong found his smile strange, but there was nothing she could say.

Now that her attitude was right, training her was inevitable.

Personality? Why change it? Forcing someone to change is erasing their nature and talents. Everyone has their own path; their future depends on their current efforts and personality.

"Alright, your first lesson starts now!" Wukong said, turning to both of them.

"Understood!" Zhu Zhuqing replied.

Ning Rongrong also perked up, curious to see how Wukong would train them.

Wukong casually picked up a stone and threw it into the forest. Both girls jumped in surprise.

"Your first lesson is to find this stone. At the moment I threw it, I infused it with my own aura. Zhuqing, you also have a similar energy, so you should be able to sense it."

"You might encounter many soul beasts, but don't worry. If it's beyond your ability, I won't intervene. If you're unlucky and face a ten-thousand-year beast, I will protect you."

"As for Ning Rongrong, use your Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Tower to assist. A support-type Soul Master should focus on support."

If her tower had offensive power, Wukong would have trained her as a combat-type Soul Master—imagine a support-type that could amplify itself in battle. How strong would that be?
