Chapter 11 — Yujiro-nii Is Perfect… Except He's a Little Too Evil

Shisui was loyal. Even after the clan's hotheaded brats had beaten him until his head looked like a training post, he still didn't sell Yujiro out.

The young Uchiha nobles weren't satisfied, though. Their Sharingan burned crimson as they prowled the streets, swearing they'd catch Uchiha Yujiro, pin him down with eight strong men, and beat the smug grin off his face.

Too bad—days passed, and they still couldn't find him. Frustration simmered everywhere.

Meanwhile, Yujiro's short-lived "homeless fugitive" phase ended quickly.

Minato Namikaze, ever the bro, saw the newspaper Yujiro had orchestrated and instantly understood. Soon enough, the Hokage's office issued policies favorable to the Uchiha clan.

Fugaku, also a man of his word, stepped up right after the Hokage's announcement and publicly shielded Yujiro.

From that point, Yujiro had little left to do. Politics was an arena above his "rookie's pay grade." He only noticed Fugaku coming and going from the Hokage building more often, sometimes smiling, sometimes grim.

At the same time, Lady Mikoto frequently visited Kushina Uzumaki—not for scandal, but for "First Ladies' Diplomacy."

While Fugaku and Minato wrangled politics, Mikoto and Kushina did the housewife equivalent—lunch dates, strolls down Konoha's shopping streets, public displays of camaraderie.

Rumor even claimed the two made a pact: if both had sons, they'd become sworn brothers; if one had a son and the other a daughter, they'd marry them.

Yujiro's reaction?

"Oh? Then what if they both have daughters? Planning to start a harem arrangement?"

"…," said Shisui.

After relaying the latest news at Yujiro's house, Shisui once again found himself speechless.

Ninja recovery really was impressive. Just two days ago he looked like a swollen melon; now he was back to normal.

"But Yujiro-nii…"

"Don't mind it, don't mind it."

I totally don't want both Naruto and Sasuke!

Yujiro waved him off. "I was just joking. Anyway, tell me what else happened recently."

That struck Shisui as strange.

Intel gathering was ninja 101. With Yujiro's strength—already famous as Konoha's 'Flame Claw' before unlocking three tomoe, practically jōnin-level—why was he the one delivering reports?

Yujiro explained, deadpan:

"Yeah, about that. I haven't been going out much lately. No matter where I go, random Uchihas spawn like side-quests, insisting on 'friendly sparring.'"

Shisui blinked. "But didn't the clan officially recognize you as a hero who helped the Uchiha?"

"Exactly," Yujiro smirked. "That's why it's only 'friendly sparring.'"

"…Wow."

The more Shisui thought about it, the more sense it made.

Yujiro-nii really did have everything—talent, brains, charisma, loyalty to the village and his comrades. But, well… he was also kind of a bastard.

"Then… Yujiro-nii, can I challenge you to a 'friendly spar'?" Shisui asked hopefully.

"Nope."

What kind of joke is this? You've already got a Mangekyō. Mangekyō versus three tomoe? Shisui, are you even human?

Yujiro was about to lecture him properly when the dumbass system chimed in again:

[Sudden Quest · Crush the Uchiha]

The Senju and Uchiha are bound by love-hate destiny. In every generation, a Senju genius defeats an Uchiha genius and wins their loyalty. This time, it's your turn!

Objective: Defeat Uchiha Shisui, the clan's prodigy, in a sparring match.

Reward: Yang Release Chakra nature + massive chakra boost (Intelligence +2).

Yujiro sighed. "…But then again, Shisui, you asked so nicely. Maybe rejecting you outright would be a bit rude."

Shisui's eyes lit up. "Really?! Then let's head to the training grounds right now!"

Yujiro stared at him. That eager puppy-dog look screamed, I've got you right where I want you.

And to be fair… maybe Shisui really did.

The White Fang was dead. The Third was senile. Danzō was basically gold-plated trash who thought a kunai could poke through Susanoo. Tsunade had hemophobia. Fugaku was playing his cards way too close to the chest.

Right now in Konoha, the only real heavy-hitters were Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Minato Namikaze.

Do the math, and it wasn't wrong to say Shisui was easily top five in the village.

If he ever snapped, popped Susanoo, and threw out Kotoamatsukami, Yujiro would gladly crown him Konoha's 1v1 King.

And the system really wanted him to put down a monster on that level? It was flattering, sure, but way too much credit.

Not that Yujiro minded. The system was dumb, and honestly, so was Shisui.

It was just a spar, right? The details of how they sparred hadn't been specified. Which meant Yujiro could set his own rules.

"Alright," Yujiro said, "sparring is sparring, but how about we skip the Sharingan jutsu?"

"Fine!" Shisui answered instantly, eager to punch him.

"And also," Yujiro continued smoothly, "you know my chakra pool isn't that big. Let's stick to taijutsu. A few kunai throws are fine, and maybe body flicker, but no ninjutsu. Deal?"

"…Fine," Shisui said at last, but not as quickly. Taijutsu-only meant he could use maybe half his actual ability. Susanoo was already off the table without a huge chakra reserve. Sure, his fire style was sharp, but if jutsu were banned? He'd be gimped.

"Good," Yujiro nodded. "And since we're banning ninjutsu… illusions too, right?"

Shisui twitched. "…Yujiro-nii, maybe I should just surrender now?"

"Great idea," Yujiro grinned. "You said it yourself—"

[Quest: Defeat the Uchiha Prodigy — Completed 0%]

"Wait, wait! Fine, no genjutsu either. Let's just fight!"

[Quest Progress: 0%]

Yujiro sighed. He was this close to unlocking Yang Release chakra and that juicy +2 Intelligence bonus.

Oh well. Just a minor setback.

Yang Release and that chakra boost? He was going to get them no matter what.
