Chapter 15 - 15 .Her Name Was Selena, and She Knew No Shame

Some girls enter your life without knocking.

This one didn't enter. She broke the door.

Monday.

School buzzed with life again.

Acxell sat in his usual spot—back row, by the window.

Yuriko wasn't in today—fever, maybe from… too many "silent activities."

And today…

a new student arrived.

Her steps weren't shy.

Her uniform had been customized—shirt undone just enough, skirt too short to be standard, but nothing about her felt cheap.

Her hair was a blue-violet ombre, cascading in waves.

Her eyes—frosty grey—looked at the world as if it had already let her down.

"Name's Selena Hoshigaki.

Osaka-born. Mostly overseas.

Try not to bore me."

Silence.

The teacher cleared his throat.

"Selena, take the seat back there. By the window."

Directly beside Acxell.

She walked without hesitation.

Dropped her bag on the table.

And without even glancing at him, she said:

"You have a weird aura.

You smell like a man who can't be devoured."

Acxell didn't flinch.

"And you look like someone who hasn't felt full in years."

Their eyes met.

For the first time in her life—

Selena smiled

—not with arrogance,

but challenge.

[SYSTEM ALERT: UNKNOWN AVATAR DETECTED NEARBY]

SCANNING… "DOMINA PROTOCOL – TIER 1"

AVATAR CLASS: EMOTIONAL CONTROL (PRIDE)

WARNING: RIVAL SYSTEM DETECTED

USER AWARENESS LEVEL: MEDIUM. NOT HOSTILE… YET.

Inside, Acxell knew—

this wasn't an ordinary student.

Selena's eyes flicked toward his hand.

She whispered:

"You've claimed someone.

But you haven't mastered her yet… have you?"

Acxell tilted his head, amused.

"I don't need control.

She comes back on her own."

Selena chuckled.

She leaned back, crossing her legs.

"That's adorable.

But the world isn't built for the patient.

It belongs to those who take."

[SELENA SYSTEM ACTIVE: PASSIVE DOMINA PULSE EMITTED]

NEARBY MALES AFFECTED: MIND FOCUS -10%

ACXELL UNAFFECTED.

SYSTEM: RESISTANCE DUE TO SOULBIND LOCK (YURIKO)

SELENA ALERT: TARGET SHOWS IMMUNITY. INTRIGUED.

Her eyes sharpened.

She leaned closer—her voice a whisper near his ear.

"You make me curious.

Men who don't kneel…

always taste better when they do."

During lunch—she didn't eat.

She followed Acxell to the rooftop.

"I want to test something," she said.

"If I touch you…

will you pull away?

Or touch back?"

Acxell looked at her.

Calm.

Steady.

"I'll wait…

for a reason."

Selena smiled again.

Her hand hovered over his chest—

but stopped just short.

"You're more dangerous than I thought."

"I like men who don't tame easy."

[SYSTEM CONFLICT UNLOCKED: EMOTIONAL RIVALRY ACTIVE]

SELENA HAS MARKED YOU AS "TARGET OF INTEREST."

YURIKO BOND SENSITIVITY WILL INCREASE WHEN EXPOSED TO NEW FEMALE AURA.

FLAG PLANTED: TRIANGLE TRIGGER: ACTIVE

And just like that—

the second girl arrived.

Not to fall in love.

But to fall in reverse—

or be the one to pull others down with her.

She didn't want to be worshipped.

She wanted the world to crawl back into her skin.

And for that, you were the perfect vessel.

"She didn't fall from the sky.

She appeared in a mirror.

And she never asked if you were ready—

She just appeared when she pleased."

Night,Selena place.

Selena stood alone in a high-class hotel room—her temporary residence before moving into the dorms.

A towel wrapped loosely around her body. Her wet hair clung to the sides of her neck.

She said nothing.

But tonight, the mirror before her…

began to fog.

No steam.

No source.

Just an unnatural mist that spread across the glass surface—

—and then she appeared.

THE GODDESS OF ARROGANCE – VALESTRA ARKHANA

Visual: A regal woman with flowing white-gold hair, wearing a shattered glass crown.

Her eyes were a deep imperial violet, as if the world had already disappointed her.

Her voice was soft, yet every word echoed with the distant sound of crickets—

like pride speaking to itself.

"Selena."

The girl didn't flinch.

"You're early," she replied.

Valestra's smirk curved like a blade—not warm, but laced with superiority.

"You make the first move.

I'm here to see if you'll ruin my toy—

or make me proud."

Selena crossed her arms, letting water drip from the tips of her hair onto her collarbone.

"He's… different. His aura doesn't yield."

Valestra raised an eyebrow.

"And you will like that."

"You think I designed this system for men who were easy?"

Valestra began walking in the mirror—

her feet never touching the real room.

"He holds something I can't predict.

That makes him a threat…

or a gift."

Selena gave a sly smile.

"And if I break him?"

Valestra stopped. Her eyes shimmered.

"If you break him… I'll give you the real prize."

"Human emotions are rotting.

But the most rotten…

can become perfume when pressed just right."

[SYSTEM UPDATE: SELENA – QUEST INITIATED]

TARGET: ACXELL AYASAKA

MISSION: SHATTER HIS RESISTANCE. REVEAL THE CORE OF HIS SOUL.

REWARD: UNLOCK CORE TRAIT – PRIDE ABSOLUTE (ACCESS TO DIVINE SKILL TIER)

Valestra raised her hand.

The mirror cracked—fine lines like spiderwebs—though no sound followed.

"Don't fall in love. That's not your assignment."

"But if he falls in love with you…

let him fall without hands to catch him."

The glass cleared.

Valestra vanished.

Selena stared at her own reflection again—still damp, still human.

She pulled her hair back.

And whispered:

"He'll fall.

The real question is…

will I?"

That night , Axcell dorm—

as Acxell fell asleep after his encounter with Selena…

his body rested.

But his mind was pulled elsewhere.

A dream.

But not of this world.

Purple skies.

Shimmering black water.

Floating architecture—impossible and divine.

He stood alone—

until the scent of flowers and burnt embers filled the air.

He turned—

and from pink mist,

she emerged.

THE GODDESS OF SEDUCTION -

LILITH VEIYRA.

Visual: Dark violet hair, flowing with red blossoms at the ends.

Eyes a soft crimson—gentle, but heavy with stories.

She wore something between a silk nightgown and a goddess's chain—

her collar bound in silver links, symbols of her exile.

"Darling…

It's been a while."

Acxell didn't speak.

His body was calm—

but his instincts knew this wasn't just a dream.

Lilith floated toward him.

No footsteps.

She turned his body with one hand.

Lifted his chin with the other.

"Selena has appeared, hasn't she?"

"Valestra's prodigy.

Proud. Sharp. Loves snapping hearts like brittle twigs."

Acxell asked quietly:

"You afraid she'll break me?"

Lilith laughed.

Not gently—

but like thunder wrapped in perfume.

"I didn't create you to break, Acxell."

"I created you to break them—with a smile."

She touched his chest—

and the System lit up again.

[DIVINE INTERFACE ACCESSED – CORE GODDESS OVERRIDE]

Lilith whispered at his ear.

"Every time you touch a woman's soul…

you touch mine."

"Every time they fall—

I rise."

Acxell exhaled.

"What do you really want from me, Lilith?"

She didn't answer with words.

Her eyes glowed.

And her emotions spilled like music into his bones.

"I want this world to feel me again."

"I want my body to be rebuilt—

from love, from lust,

from every emotion that once cast me out of the heavens."

"And you, darling…

you are that new body."

"You're not just my avatar…"

"You are… my reincarnation."

Acxell didn't speak.

And Lilith smiled—

then wrapped her arms around him from behind.

"Don't fear them.

Break them gently."

"Don't chase their love.

Let them build a love…

that becomes their own poison."

She vanished.

And Acxell woke up—

not in bed…

but in destiny.

Because now—

he wasn't just playing a system.

He was becoming it.
