Ivana walked around the hall as she looked for the woman who would trigger her plans. She left Sora in his room after he slept and started to memorize the location of every guards in the restricted areas, the surveillance cameras, and path of exit that she had chosen
As she walked around, she noticed that the guards had increased in the hall and they're wandering around, talking to their fellow guards who's in their disguises. Some of them glanced at her from time to time
Ivana smiled as she talked to some of the guest who would initiate a conversation with her. She laughed at their jokes and also tell jokes herself to livened the mood. All the person who talked to her was satisfied with her grace and wit and left her their name cards
Ivana was starting to feel that being in their company was relaxing. Like the feeling of a shepherd that's leading her sheep to wherever she goes
'This is fun'
Then, she saw the woman she saw looking for talking to the men in suits. She smiled widely and thought
'Its going to start now huh? I wonder what she had planned for me?'
Then, she walked towards the waiter and picked a glass of wine from his tray. She waited for the woman to approach her as she took a sip. After a while, she saw that the guards in disguise left the hall and entered a path that's leading deep to the mansion
Ivana then saw the woman walking towards her. She smiled at the scene
'Finally'
Then woman soon reached her and asked
"Hello, Lady Arieta. Where's Sora?"
Ivana smiled back and said
"Ohh. He's sleeping in his room. It seems that he got drunk after we spent some time together. Silly me, I should've stopped him from drinking too much"
The woman clenched her teeth from anger but she didn't show it. Then, she smiled and asked
"What do you think of this party Lady Arieta? My father spent hundreds of dollars to make this party a memorable one, so I hope that you're having fun"
Ilaya chuckle and said
"It's certainly very lavish. I wish I can also make a grand party like this, but maybe in the future"
Ivana smiled sweetly at her
"And I'm having so much fun"
The woman saw her smile and she shivered from the creepiness. Something about her smile unnerved her. But, when she remembered her plan, she banished the creep and smiled
'You're certainly going to have fun. As well as my guards later. I'm looking forward to seeing you cry and beg'
Then, asked
"Lady Arieta, do you have the time to accompany me to show you something. I have a collection of antique blades and didn't have anyone to show it"
The woman then held her hand and said excitedly
"Would you like to see it?"
Ivana's face turned blank as she processed her words
'Antique… blades?'
Ivana immediately said excitedly
"Sure! I'd love to see it!"
The woman was confused as to why she was so excited
'I mean, what's so good about a thousand year old piece of rust? She's strange'
The collection that she was talking about was her grandparents collection who was collecting dust on display. She wanted to use them to lure her, but she didn't expect her burning enthusiasm. The woman clears her throat and said
"Ahem! It seems that you like antiques. I'm glad that you like it"
Ivana then tilts her head
"Antiques? No. I like…"
Her words were cut off as Ivana blurted out in surprise
"…Ilaya?"
She saw a captivating woman dressed in an ultramarine gown with a light blue brooch in her dress. The brooch highlighted her deep blue eyes and they synergized to perfection. Her silky black hair was loose and her black eyeliner gave her a gentle, but seductive looks
Ivana's mouth hung open as she stared at the stunning woman descending at the stairs. Each step of her heels clapped through the hall and the people quieted down. They all stared at the woman who's presence that's giving off a 'princess of the sea' vibes.
Ivana thought that Ilaya was the perfect spy, but she clearly didn't think enough. The amount of attention she's attracting was so much that with her being undercover, she will be exposed from standing out!
Ilaya then looked around as if to find someone. She soon saw Ivana and she smiled. However, Ivana noticed that her lips were trembling slightly and her eyes were moist. She seemed to hear her silent plea for help. At that sight, Ivana sighed in her mind
'It seemed that she came unprepared. Well, Ilaya was Ilaya. But, why is she here?'
Then, Ilaya reached the first floor as she immediately headed towards Ivana. Ivana smiled and walked towards her
"Why are you so late? My dear Ilaya?"
Ilaya smiled apologetically and replied
"I'm sorry for my tardiness Lady Arieta. It seemed that I didn't notice the time. Hehe. Deary me, I should've prepared earlier on"
Ivana's mouth twitch from her words and said to her
"Would you like to join us at our table? I'd like to introduce you to someone"
Ilaya smiled sweetly
"It'll be my pleasure to join you"
Then, they walked towards the table as people stared at the two in awe. The two women were like paintings of art. The other one is like a 'Lady of the night' with her black dress and eyes. While the other one was like a 'Princess of the deep' with her ultramarine gown and deep blue eyes
After they sat, the people returned to their conversation. However, they still glanced at them from time to time. Ivana then introduced Ilaya to the woman she had been talking to earlier
"Lady Chelly, this is my friend, Ilaya Bayfron. She's the daughter of a tycoon who's a mysterious traveler"
Then, Ilaya greeted her with a smile
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Chelly. Pardon me for arriving late"
The woman, Chelly turned stiff as she forced a smile
'Another bitch again!'
"It's nice to meet you too, Lady Ilaya. It seems that you've missed the fun earlier on. Lady Arieta here, was being fought over by different men to win her favor. It's a shame that you didn't see that spectacle"
Ilaya's eyes widened and she became curious
"Is that so? Hahh. I should've come early. I really missed big time"
Ilaya glanced and smiled at Ivana. However, Ivana felt that Ilaya was amused by that news. She glared at her and said
"Ohh please, men always want to possess the most beautiful women. So it doesn't come as a surprise anymore. Hehe"
Ivana really wanted to pissed Chelly off so she deliberately provoked her to leave them. She had so much questions she wanted to ask Ilaya and her guards. But she couldn't do it due to Chelly being here. So she just need to make her uncomfortable so that she'll leave herself
Ilaya and Chelly was shocked and exclaimed in their mind at the same time
'How shameless!'
Chelly was annoyed by her words and saw her guards sending signals to her. She then said to them
"I'll excuse myself for a moment ladies. I'll be back for not long"
Ilaya replied
"Sure Lady Chelly. That's your freedom"
Chelly was annoyed with her beauty as she wanted to involve this blue eyed beauty in her plan. Then, she stood up and walked away. Ilaya then looked at Ivana and she trembled. She noticed her stare had become dangerous at some point. Then, Ivana asked Ilaya
"Now that she's out, it's my turn now"
Ivana's eyes glowed red
"What is the meaning of this?"
