Another surge of power seems to radiate from him as the ground breaks even more. Somehow he's gotten even more power radiating off of him.
What the hell is this guy? I guess there are definitely strong villains that exist within the world as well. I just never heard much about them since they are usually taken care of by the top ten heroes.
Lumina is ranked at #7 I believe from what I saw last on the leaderboard so there's no way that we should lose this fight in the slightest.
FWOOOSH!!! Lumina rushes past me in an instant as her hand immediately connects with Requiem. A strange burst of white light seems to go out his back as he tries to take a step back.
But she isn't the only one that has some speed to her. Requiem also backs up before beginning to fire upon her, one shot after another.
All of them echo off of the walls of the alleyway as they start to exchange blows. His shots seem to only be grazing her but she is still relentlessly pushing him.
Managing to put this much pressure on him while not being able to see him is impressive as hell. This is what it is like to be a top ranking hero within the commission.
I'm still far from ever being a hero. I still can't see myself doing it, even now. I'll never be able to make the hard decision if it comes down to it.
Having to kill someone? Do any of them actually have to do that... Is it even something we have to worry about?

You're completely right. I'm wasting time just standing around here when I could be up there helping her. Fighting alongside someone gives a boost as well, doesn't it?

You don't need to tell me twice. I'd feel bad to leave a woman hanging in a fight like this.
I rush to join the fight without any time going to waste, just barely managing to catch up with them. I could see quite a few cuts across Lumina as well.
She's been fighting hard against him the entire time while I took a few moments to get back in this fight. I'll make it right. That's when some sort of strange instinct kicked in.
I ran at Requiem once again and begin to throw a flurry of punches while trying to keep him from firing his pistols.
If I can keep him from firing the guns... Lumina might be able to beat him without us having to do some more serious damage to him.
His mask is already cracked from when I hit him before so there's no way I didn't do any damage. I'm sure he's hurting, plus Lumina also has been hitting him with some good attacks as well.
"Trying to keep me from using my weapons, smart." Iron Requiem says while trying to avoid my punches.
Occasionally some punches land while others he dodged with ease. Getting this percentage up would be a lot more ideal for me in the future.
BRRRZZZZZ- BANG!!! A shot manages to slip past me, grazing my side while continuing to travel towards Lumina. Something was off about that sh— BOOOM!!!!
My attention immediately shifts toward Lumina which was not a good thing to do mid fight... I felt the pain immediately go through my stomach as multiple shots pierced through my suit.
~That's a lot of damage... Uh oh. ಥ╭╮ಥ.
I stumble back a few steps as I begin to hear something hitting the ground, almost like the sound of water hitting the floor. Drip. Drip.
Looking down at my stomach I could see decent size holes where he shot right through me... Blood was dripping down onto the ground.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you that it is a terrible idea to take your eyes off of the enemy?" He asks while swirling his guns around.
I couldn't really get the words out, it was like my voice was gone. Just barely out of the corner of my eyes I could see Lumina standing there still.
That same distorted field seems to be there in front of her.
Why did I worry about her when she is more than capable when it comes to protecting herself... Sometimes I really am stupid. This is one of those times.
Playing hero when I don't want to be one.
BURST!!! CRASH!!!! A huge beam of white light went past me into him and all I could see was him flying into one of the walls in the alleyway.
I took advantage of this opportunity and backed up towards Lumina who was still standing strong.
"I'm glad you're alright... I might've messed up a bit." I say as I touch my stomach.
The feeling makes me shake almost immediately as I feel the pain grow even stronger. It was a lot worse than when I got cut by that blade.
"Everything will be fine. We'll finish this fight and get you treated at the commission." Lumina replies with confidence.
Clap. Clap. Clap. "Isn't it great how much damage you two managed to inflict on me. Usually I wouldn't be able to last this long against someone like you, Lumina. The Boss has been hard at work though." Iron Requiem speaks up before picking up his pistols.
I don't understand how this guy can keep going after taking all of these hits. Yet I'm struggling after taking two of those damn shots.
This just proves exactly why I hate this whole hero like world of ours. People like this are the main reason.
~The quest does not seem like it'll be possible to complete at this time. ;-;
"Just give up your boss and maybe you can have a decent life still." Lumina responds with a serious tone.
"You both look worse than me, I wouldn't be worried about my boss right now." Iron Requiem says as he looks towards us both.
I don't think we'll be winning this fight today.
