Chapter 13 - Enrollment

Lan Xuanyu mentioned that being near Gu Xun could accelerate his cultivation progress, but Gu Xun didn't feel any such speed boost.

"Why not me? Is it targeted?"

Gu Xun glanced at the excited Lan Xuanyu before turning his face away. Lan Xuanyu remained by Gu Xun's side to cultivate, while Gu Xun scrolled through videos.

Soon, Gu Xun departed the space. After breakfast, he addressed Di Tian.

"Di Tian, take me to the Primary Spirit Master Academy on Heaven Duo Planet."

Di Tian paused at the request, but as his master's command, he complied. Now a God King-level powerhouse, Di Tian instantly transported Gu Xun across the cosmos to Heaven Duo Planet.

"My Lord, may I inquire—what brings you to the Elementry Spirit Master Academy?"

"What else? Business, of course. Di Tian, get me inside."

"Understood."

Without question, Di Tian employed certain methods to secure Gu Xuan's admission.

Soon, Gu Xuan received his Heaven Duo Elementry Spirit Master Academy ID card. A teacher approached him.

"Young Master Gu Xun, correct? Welcome to our Class One."

The young female teacher examined Gu Xun's refined appearance, her smile broadening.

"Hello, Teacher."

Gu Xun greeted her politely before following the teacher to the classroom.

"Students, today we welcome a new classmate."

"A transfer student?"

"It's been two months since the semester started. How come there's still a new student?"

The students murmured among themselves as they looked at Gu Xun. Receiving a telepathic message from Di Tian, Gu Xun spotted a blue-haired girl in the back row. He knew this was the place he was looking for.

"Gu Xun, Level 14, Attack System."

Gu Xun gave a brief introduction. The students were instantly stunned. They never expected Gu Xun to be Level 14.

After all, the highest-ranked Spirit Master in the class had only acquired their second spirit ring two months prior. Gu Xun's Level 14 status delivered a massive shockwave.

"Level 14?!"

"Isn't Dong Qianqiu the highest-ranked in our class? But she's only Level 13!"

Whispers erupted among the students. Gu Xun remained unfazed, while the teacher was stunned by his talent.

"Student Gu Xun, please find a seat."

"Mhm."

Gu Xun nodded, then took a seat at the very back, appearing detached from the world. The teacher didn't mind—geniuses were bound to have their quirks.

Gu Xun stared blankly out the window. He recalled that Gu Yuena had come here to teach martial arts, but he had no idea how long it would take for her to show up.

Class soon ended. Gu Xun walked out of the classroom alone. Some students, sensing the aura of solitude he carried, instinctively stepped back.

Though exceptionally handsome, there was something about Gu Xun that made him seem unapproachable.

Thus, Gu Xun had no interactions with anyone. He walked out the school gate, where Di Tian arrived in a private car to pick him up.

Gu Xun's eye twitched. He glanced at Di Tian, then at the vehicle, and asked uncertainly.

"Di Tian, do you have a driver's license?"

"Yes, my Lord. Ten thousand years ago, I served as the previous Lord's personal driver. I am a professional."

Di Tian gave Gu Xun a reassuring look. Only then did Gu Xun settle into the seat, taking in the opulent interior.

"My Lord, if I may be so bold, I wish to know why you have come to this Spirit Master Academy."

"Hmm? There's no harm in telling you. I prophesied that the Silver Dragon King would appear here—though it might be next year, or perhaps even today."

Hearing Gu Xun's words, Di Tian's expression changed. He hadn't expected Gu Xun's purpose for coming here was because he had prophesied that the Silver Dragon King was still alive.

Di Tian instinctively scanned the Heaven Luo Planet with his divine sense, yet found nothing. His bloodline sense also detected no trace of the Silver Dragon King's aura.

"My Lord, how do you intend to deal with the Silver Dragon King?"

Di Tian now followed Gu Xun's commands completely. Though astonished that the Silver Dragon King was still alive, if Gu Xun ordered her death, Di Tian would not hesitate for a moment.

After all, when Gu Xun commanded Di Tian to act, Di Tian truly dared to act—he was the ultimate model worker.

"Let's observe first. If she remains stubborn..."

Gu Xun paused at this point, and Di Tian understood. He then offered his suggestion.

"My Lord, the Silver Dragon King possesses dragon king-level bloodline. Might I suggest capturing her to inherit your Dragon God bloodline?"

Gu Xun's eye twitched at Di Tian's proposal. He glanced at him, and Di Tian, thinking his suggestion had displeased his master, opened his mouth to speak—only to hear Gu Xun's voice.

"Do I look like I'm capable of passing on bloodlines right now?"

Gu Xun raised his hand to gesture at his own appearance. Di Tian realized his mistake—Gu Xun clearly wasn't in a position to do such a thing yet.

"I'm sorry for my oversight."

"Mhm."

Gu Xun nodded in acknowledgment, then turned his gaze back to the city streets rushing past outside the window.

Di Tian drove in silence, soon arriving at a luxurious villa.

At the villa's center stood a teleportation anchor—a feature Gu Xun had implemented by downloading the Genshin Impact mod.

"I'm off."

With that, Gu Xun vanished. Di Tian stared at the empty spot where his master had stood, marveling at his master's limitless capabilities.
