Chapter 199 - First to Break a Limb

The moment Cain's command cracked through the air, the male lunged. He came at her with brute strength, a straight punch aimed to end it quickly.

Theo barely had time to register it before she moved on instinct, dropping low and twisting aside just before his fist tore through the space where her head had been a second earlier.

She quickly swept her leg out, aiming for his knee but he jumped it easily and countered with a backhand that caught her shoulder instead of her face. Pain exploded through her arm, and she staggered back two steps.

The crowd hissed.

"Stay down, Luna," he sneered, already advancing again, "This doesn't have to—"

She grabbed a fistful of sand from the ring and flung it straight into his eyes.

He roared back in surprise, hands flying up to his eyes to block the dust just long enough.

That was all she needed.
