Two maids waited in front of her room when she arrived.
Cain had sent them, along with a first aid kit.
They didn't say anything as they worked on her body, helping her to stop the bleeding and cover up the wounds. When they were done, they packed up and left silently.
Not long after, breakfast arrived. She watched as they pushed the wheels into her room, unveiled the food and left again. The aroma was tempting, but Theo wasn't hungry.
She barely eaten since she came here. And she was starving.
No sleep, and barely any food. She feared that if she closed her eyes and let herself finally succumb to sleep, it would be detrimental, especially with Seraphina not able to look out for her while she was asleep.
As for the food, Theo felt like it might be poisoned.
She finished cleaning up and changed her clothes into something more comfortable. Her knees were a bit dislocated, forcing her to limp around the room.
