Back in the alleyway.
Madam (Alicia) looked at Raven's face, sending out a message that he'll be alright, yet not a single trace of panic or anything was on his face.
As if things were gonna be alright. Darting her gaze at his hands, she spotted a ring on his palm, slowly making its way to his ring finger.
The atmosphere suddenly changed, and the moment it did so, the invisible wall disappeared. Madam hurriedly made her way to Lean, sitting down, his face still covered in his own blood.
Using all her abilities to heal him up and fix him right back to the way he was before a few minutes ago. Using multiple spells, Raven's situation was finally back to normal.
Yet, she didn't take it easy. She looked back at the others before teleporting out of there. With a flash of light, the two disappeared from the alley into a room with no windows.
Putting Raven on the bed. She quickly stripped his clothes off. Putting them on the side, to clean later. The moment Raven's clothes were off, Madam paused for a moment.
Raven's body was filled with all kinds of marks of abuse. From cigarettes burn, slashed marks, and even signs of a tight grip in his neck and arms. They were hidden by his clothes.
Gazing at them, she questions the past of Raven, on how someone could have all of them if he were from the world of Earth. From her knowledge, Earth is a peaceful planet.
Not from danger, but from the idea of supernatural beings like monsters. Unless. The planet he was on was already in a dungeon and the Mana era.
An era where countless rifts in the air appeared, bringing them the monster and mana. But that wasn't possible either.
Raven's base mana stat is too small to be his world to have mana. If his world were one, his mana should be around 80 to 150 points at best. Then. What kind of life did Raven have before coming to this world?
Knowing her questions would not be answered, she pushed it aside and fixed Raven up. Cleaning his body of his blood. Clearing out the blood from his mouth and nose, allowing him to breathe better. Along with his ears and eyes.
After a while, Raven's life and situation were in a better condition. Looking at him sleeping soundly, she felt relieved. To think that asking a simple question would lead to this kind of situation.
For a bit, she wondered if Raven would even trust them after he woke up. If this is the last Otherworlder, that person would try to demand something from them.
But for some reason. Madam couldn't think of this happening at all. When Raven was bleeding a while ago, instead of asking for help or going towards them for help.
He went and placed his back against the wall. As if he could only trust himself, and no one else but himself to help him.
"This. Will it be alright right?" She asked, wondering once again about Raven's past life. As she thought about it her exhaustion took over her. Before she knew it she fell asleep on the chair she was on.
******
"Huh? Did I fall asleep?" She asked, wrapping herself in a blanket on the bed…
"Blanket?... Why am I lying down?" She questioned again, wasn't she just sleeping on the chair? So how come she's lying down now and covered in a blanket?
Jolting her large body, she sat up in bed. Looked around and found Raven completely gone from the room. A panicked surge through her, she already knew this would have happened after last night's event.
Why would Raven trust them if his life was in danger because of them? So running away seems to be an obvious choice. But Madam wouldn't allow this to happen.
Raven's situation was not normal. For him to not have any skills or blessings but an ability alone makes his existence different from the other Otherworlders.
She needs to make sure they can monitor his actions within the next year or two before letting him go on his own. If he passes, he'll be free from them; if not, they will make sure every action of his will be watched.
With a breath, Madam unleashed her cursed energy and flew them in all directions. Letting out a message to the other four. As soon as the energy met their faces, all four started to move. Looking for Raven.
The twin sister in the center of the City split up and started looking for him and the upper floor of the dungeon. They were inside the city dungeon, on floor 24. If they knew one thing about Otherworlder, they were sure he would be in here.
Otherworlders are prideful people; they would not take any opinion from others, whether this opinion is a warning or a suggestion. The moment they learn a dungeon exists, they would not waste any time and enter it.
Battle experience?
Weapons?
Potions?
Items?
Armor?
Maps?
Level?
Food?
None of this matters, what they need is to enter the dungeon and level up crazy without stopping. These were the normal Otherworlder actions they had met all these years.
So the twin was confident in finding Raven on the upper floor, killing the dungeon monster to level up.
…..
In the southern part of the city. Jena the living angel. Was buying groceries for them to use. The moment Madam's cursed energy came in contact, she stopped her action and left the stall to look for him.
Placing the basket in her dimensional pouch, she started chanting. At the end of her chanting. Wings appeared behind her back, allowing her to fly above the ground and spread out her Divine power half across the city.
"Where are you now?" Jena muttered licking her lips as she thought of catching him before others. And receiving praise from Madam for her work.
….
At the same time, Madam hurried to leave the base they were on. Normally she wouldn't leave this place until nighttime, since the sunlight itself would weaken her.
That matter was useless for now; right now, she needed to find Raven quickly and bring him back to them. She began to chant and in the end. Wings made out of cursed, demonic, and chaos energy were made.
She flew high above the air and spread out her power covering the half that Jena left before. With the four of them searching for him. It's only a matter of time till they find him.
Be it above the ground in the entire city or in the dungeon, someone was trying to search for him. Raven's chance of escaping their grasp was slim.
….
At this time. Flare, the last member of the group, looked up in the sky, sensing both Madam and Jena's energy covering the entire city.
"So. He ran away… Good. I didn't like him at all." She whispered, running back to their base to cook breakfast for herself.
