Chapter 7 - 07. Name

Raven words carried themselves out from him, there was not a single struggle or hesitation within him.

At this moment, he had only one goal: to answer with the truth and only the truth to Madam's question.

"I'm from the planet called Earth, living on the Asian continent. My home country is called—!?" Raven couldn't answer the last one, as if he knew nothing about it.

Recalling through his memory, he tried to remember the names of the country of this world called Earth.

But no matter how he tried to remember any of them he couldn't.

Each time he tried to, his head will triggered create a ringing sound and shook violently, hurting himself; so he decided to ignore it and move to another question for Madam.

Opening his mouth, he said the words, "My name is—" yet again, silence met him in the last moment.

He was at a loss.

For once, how can one forget one's name that's been part of their existence the moment they are born into the world?

But Raven couldn't remember anything at all.

Each time he tried to recall anything about the name of anything, his mind would feel like it's shattering into millions of pieces that can never be completed again.

Madam and the rest, watching him struggle to answer the two questions asked of him, started to worrying.

Raven's face was turning red and steam was coming off him.

Every breath seems to be a burden to him.

His balance started to fall apart.

Then, without any warning or sign of it building up, Raven coughs up blood.

At first, it was only on his mouth; the very next second it was on his nose.

Then to his ears and finally his eyes. In four seconds, Raven's face started to bleed, as if he were being punished for going after forbidden knowledge.

The five watching him tried to help him out, but they couldn't.

Each time one of them tries to get closer to him an invisible wall will stop them from getting near.

Slowly Raven made his way into the corner of the road, leaning against the wall to support himself.

Not wanting to suddenly lose consciousness and hit his head by accident.

Breathing heavily, the blood started flowing out vigorously, covering most of his clothes.

Drowning him along with it.

"Raven, stop thinking about it and think of something else!" Madam yelled out to him.

For some reason, Raven didn't hear the first word she said and only heard the rest.

Thinking about it, she may be right.

Whatever is happening to him right now, it has something to do with names.

But for some reason, no matter how much he tries to think of anything else, his mind would revert to names.

Raven's mind was brainstorming like a heavy typhoon that can destroy anything within its path.

Then an idea appeared, allowing him to save himself from this situation.

Slowly, he opened his mouth, forcing out all the blood within it, covering his upper lip to stop the flow of blood from getting on it.

Using the last bit of his strength, he said three words only: "Inventory."

Going for the accessories space and pulling out one of the rings from it.

And the word: "Status panel."

Summoning a status window, one that allows anyone to see the details of it, and a way of telling his name without saying a word, and knowledge of it.

[Name: Raven Sunren.]

His name was completely displayed above his head.

The color of his skin was turning back to normal, and the blood gushing out from him was gone.

Before Raven knew it, the condition he was in before completely vanished without a trace.

Still with his face covered in blood and his strength leaving him, it was only a matter of time before he drowned from it.

Madam, using all her strength and abilities, could not pierce through the invisible wall before them.

She started to blame herself for forcing him to answer her questions.

If she hadn't done so, Raven wouldn't have been in this situation.

She, who has met tens of Otherworlders, knew one thing about them: that they have either died in their world or been sent into this world.

The moment she spotted Raven in that alley, she knew he was someone who had died and not been transported.

Now, in this moment she was about to be the reason for him to lose his second life.

She looked at Raven's face, trying to send out a message that he'll be alright, yet not a single trace of panic or anything was on his face.

As if things were gonna be alright.

Darting her gaze at his hands, she spotted a ring on his palm, slowly making its way to his ring finger.

The atmosphere suddenly changed, and the moment it did so, the invisible wall disappeared.

Madam hurriedly made her way to Lean, sitting down, his face still covered in his own blood.

Using all her abilities to heal him up and fix him right back to the way he was before a few minutes ago.

The scents of flowers were around him, and slowly, he lifted one of his eyebrows, meeting a wooden ceiling before him.

"Huh?"

He exclaimed, confused by the sight of it.

Just a moment ago, he was walking with the others; now, he's in a random location he doesn't know of.

Sitting up from the bed he was on, he found his clothes had been completely changed into another set.

Trying to recall anything from the night before, Raven only felt his mind shattering.

Turning around and looking at the corners of the room, he found Madam on the side sleeping while sitting on a chair.

"She's so ridiculously large for a woman." He remarked, looking at her.

Seeing how she's here, Raven worries about being in a random location disappeared.

This place should be their main base they were talking about yesterday.

Understanding how he somehow lost his consciousness when he tried to remember his name the night before, he called out his status window.

Study the name written on it, and say it without stopping.

Though he wasn't sure if this was truly his name, he knew for sure.

That this is the name that he now has to live with and accept it without fighting back.

"My name is Raven Sunren."

"My name is Raven Sunren."

"My name is Raven Sunren."

Raven repeated them over and over again till his mind would accept this.

After ten minutes of non-stop talking, he stopped, stood up, and started to look around for the exit within the room.

After a while, Raven found where the exit was.

Right behind Madam, she was covering the door with her massive figure.

He wasn't gonna stop just because of this.

Slowly, he walked towards her and placed his hand behind her knees, and waist.

Lifting using his legs, he slowly lifted Madam's massive body on his own and moved to the bed he was on before.

Each step was a challenge in itself, with Madam's giant body making it hard to fully grab her, and her weight adding to it.

But Raven made sure that he wouldn't let go of her, from the room decorations, the door behind her was the only entryway and exit from this room.

There was not a single window in the room; each corner of the wall had a drawer, bookshelf, and couch covering it.

"She smells so good!" Raven said, sniffing the scent of her body, his grip tight on her thigh leaving a mark, making him feel the elastic soft skin of hers.

With the last step, Raven successfully placed Madam on the bed and covered her with the blanket he had on before.

"Was she worried about me?" Raven asked, looking at her sleeping face before turning back to the door and exiting the room.
