Waiting for the woman called Madam to start the conversation they are about to have.
Raven would look for any way or escape route to run away from them.
So far, he has found zero of them.
The four ladies were guarding his eyes; each time he shifted them, they would follow it with theirs, making it seem like the five of them only had one pair of eyes.
Each time he found an escape route they would somehow create a pillar of earth to cover them, and sometimes increase their aura and killing intent to him, as a way of saying:
"You can't escape from us!" While they held him at gunpoint to his head, throat, chest, groin, knees, and ankles.
"No escaping huh?" He murmured completely giving up on running away, but the four heard him as clear as the ocean surface.
"Stopped glaring at me like that. I already gave up." He said raising his hand up to show he doesn't have anything on him.
With two coughs, Raven's eyes set on Madam's eyes. Before she could even say a word, Raven quickly cut her off and said:
"I follow. Both of us already know what we are about to talk about, so let's do it in a more private place than here." Pointing to the side where the rest of the tavern's visitors were watching them in silence.
"Didn't even let me say a word. Rude."Madam said, standing up and releasing her magic on Raven's seat allowing him to leave on it.
As the five started walking out of the tavern, Raven looked back at the kind waitress and gave his two gold coins to her.
"Thank you for not saying anything bad about me earlier and treating me with kindness." Bowing down, catching up to the group.
"You're welcome! Feel free to come back again!" The kind waitress screamed, watching the six of them leave the tavern.
"If I knew he gave that kind of tip, I would have tolerated his ugly face." Another waitress said, looking at the gold coins in the kind waitress's hand.
"Now that I think about it. I don't know his name." The kind waitress said looking at them. 'It also seems like he doesn't know it himself.'
…
"Hey, can I ask something?" Raven said, walking at the very back of the group.
"Hmm. Sure what will it be?" Madam said, her voice gentle like a mother's touch.
"Where are we going? Shouldn't we go back North to the red street or whatever you called that place?"
Raven remembers back to that prostitution area, where they are freely doing it in a random alley.
Without a care about their location, whether they'll be found out or not.
"Don't be ridiculous, that area you were in before is just one of our small bases, right now we're about to go to our main base."
The golden-haired lady said, resting her hands on Raven's shoulder.
'Please don't get near me, please don't get near me…" Raven repeatedly prayed within him for her to leave her and never get near him.
Right now, Raven realized that he knew each and every single one of them.
He was a big fan of theirs.
Well not them, but the author of their stories back on earth.
Each one of these ladies before him is a leading character of a series called: (Valkyrie of the night), a work from the author named: {Leriwen}.
Raven was such a big fan of the author's work that he ended up reading almost all of them in one single night. But in that session of his, he got himself dried out.
'The twin sister; Star and Moon. The living angel; Jena. The goddess of death; Flare. And finally the last guardian of the world tree; Alicia.'
He thought inwardly, looking at their faces.
Just gazing at their faces, Raven remembered how he had fallen for them, when he first found their series.
'Jena is one of the most dangerous of the five. So please don't get near me again.'
Entering a quiet road, Madam looked at the moons in the sky, slightly covered by clouds, and wondered for a bit before asking Raven:
"So. how come you didn't bother to run away or do anything at all? But decided to follow us without a struggle."
This wasn't the first time the group found Otherworlder; to be precise, they have found tens of them already in this world.
Each time they found one, those Otherworlders would try to run away, fight back, or make a deal with them.
To them, these Otherworlder are arrogant, no brain thinker, god complex, a criminal, and the worst people.
That if you compared them to the the devil themselves, the devil will be a saint.
Because of their Godlike skills and cheats they have that they think that they cannot be restricted by anyone.
The last one they met was a horrible person that hypnotized an entire village and ravaged all the maidens of it.
And tried to justify it by saying: "Their body likes it, so I'm not forcing it. If they didn't like it they wouldn't have enjoyed it."
This person was so disgusting to them at that time, that they couldn't hold back their emotion and gave him a regeneration skills and place him to a torture dungeon.
But the one with them right now did nothing of the three; he simply gave up and tried to keep things in peace.
Raven, hearing her question, pondered for a bit.
He asked himself why he didn't do anything at all, then he remembered and answered with an annoyed tone:
"Because you made my butt stuck on the chair!" Gritting his teeth as he remembered it.
Madam hearing his sudden outbursts, wanted to laugh, but decided not to.
Maybe because she was tired of dealing with this kind of situation that she decided to do that.
Looking at them trying to hold their laughter, he thought for a bit, wondering if he should ask this question himself.
If he were to mess up he would end up dead, but if he doesn't ask his curiosity will kill him, so he opened his mouth and said:
"Hey! That was a curse, right?" Stopping his pace, though he wasn't sure about his words.
Madam and the four hearing his words, stopped their movement too.
To think someone who's been in this world not even for half a day somehow figures out what Madam has done.
"You! How do you know that!" Flare screams, pointing the tip of her scythe at Raven's throat.
The other three emitting a large amount of killing intent toward him, holding their weapons.
Raven wanted to gulp down, but couldn't; if he did, the chance of the blade hitting him is high.
With the blade near his throat and the other killing intent towards him, Raven fell down to the ground.
"Instant summoning of weapons…" It was an instant, before he could even breathe in, the weapon was already on him.
"Explain yourself." The twin said.
Raven took a breath, blinked his eyes twice and pushed himself to stand up, and answered:
"Normal magic travels in the air, making it visible, while curse magic travels on the ground. There are some people whose control over their magic is high enough that they can make it seem invisible, but no matter how proficient you are, it cannot disappear completely. It will always leave a trace."
Amazed by his words, Madam pushes Flare's weapon away and tells the others to stop their killing intent on him.
Grabbing his face, she locked eyes with him and press his head into her chest and with the most seductive voice.
"Hmm. That's amazing, you're on mark but nowhere near the center. Tell me, child, what's your name and where are you from?"
Madam said to Raven, while the four are on her back.
Raven, hearing her words, tried to go against, but answered, not on his own but by some force he cannot go against.
It wasn't the same thing he experienced in the tavern, but another one, something he should be sure to know.
Slowly he opened his mouth and said:
