Chapter 5 - 05. Food, an actual food

After ten minutes of waiting, Raven's table was filled with all kinds of dishes.

Meat, fish, vegetables, and even some monster-like creatures were in his face.

Looking at them, Raven held back his mouth from watering, not wanting to gross out the kind waitress before him.

"Wait for a minute sir, I'll get you a jug of water." The waitress said, placing a tiny cross in the middle of the Raven's table before moving back to the kitchen.

Watching her leave, Raven found the tiny cross scattering tiny fragments on his food, and when they touched his food it seemed to cool down.

There were two colors of the fragments, one in blue and one in orange.

Just by their colors alone, he determines that blue cools down the food, while orange keeps it hot.

Enough that they are not cold enough to eat, and hot enough, so he can enjoy eating them without burning his own tongue.

A few seconds later, the waitress came back with the promised jug of water.

She placed it neatly on the side, making sure it wouldn't be pushed down by him.

And placed a cup on Raven's right side, allowing him to take it without a problem.

With a gentle smile on her face, she thanked him for the tip he gave before and told him to enjoy his meal.

There were a total of seven plates on the table, three were filled with chicken, sausage, and pork.

Two were baked foods, from their color, they were pumpkin and apple pies, each plate had three slices of each.

And the last two looked like some kind of monster that this world considered edible food that they could eat.

One looks like a plant monster, that if Raven narrowed his eyes, looks like a giant peach.

The other one was quite obvious. It was a gelatin made from a blue slime, it was blue and would wobble with a tiny breath from him.

Poking the peach with his pork, some white fluid gushed out from it.

Looking at it, he remembered the two people who left the alley before the robbers got to him.

Remembering this, Raven felt like throwing up, asking himself why he thought of it.

Clearing his throat and mind, he took the drumsticks of the chicken and started eating to his fill.

Biting into it, the soft flesh of it felt like heaven for him, with every bite it kept getting better than before.

Seeing how one of the dishes was already this good, he switched to the others, wondering how good they were gonna be, would they be better or not?

With the busy business of the inn where countless people would enter and leave every moment.

Raven was able to enjoy his meal without anyone bothering him, or any problems happening.

The loud conversation of everyone, made it so that no one would know him being there in the corner of the room, allowing him to enjoy and savor every bite.

Until she came.

By the time Raven was on his last slice of pumpkin pie and the weird peach-like monster, the tavern he was in suddenly went dead silent.

Putting the pie back on the plate, he turned around to the double door of the room and found multiple women walking in.

Four women were leading in front with one on the very back, gazing at them, Raven felt that each of the ladies was radiating some kind of aura around them.

The two in front felt like they were a giant wall that could not be destroyed or climbed over, making them an indestructible defense that no one could pierce through.

The second row on the right, felt like an angel from heaven that made him feel like he was bathing in the fountain of youth or something like that.

The one on the left was the complete opposite of the angel, she felt like the god of death who could kill anyone with a single breath.

"Brown, Pink, Golden, and Purple-haired," Raven murmured, looking at each ladies figure's.

"Feels like trouble." He whispered, ready to stand up. "Time to leave this place."

He wanted to run away, but his legs would not work the way he wanted them to.

No.

More like he couldn't leave his seat at all, as if he was one with it.

Turning back again, he found the last person of the group entering the tavern.

The moment the last one entered the room, all the men and even women gasped at the sight of her.

"Wait! Am I dreaming?"

"Look, man, she looked majestic."

"She's the dream of my life."

"Aren't you married with three kids?"

"Look at that Tit's and ass of hers. It's so big."

"I let her peg me…"

"I can now die in peace."

"Wait what? What's happening, who is she?" Raven questions everyone's opinion. Still trying to leave his seat.

The last woman was over 6 '5 in height, with an hourglass-like figure with a large front and back, which both genders would want to cope a feel.

Raven table being near the front of the front register, couldn't see her completely.

He could only wait till she got near him or when she was finally in sight of him.

'Let me leave!!!' Raven screaming out inside his head, still pushing down his seat, with his head ducked down, trying to hide himself from them.

Before he knew it, the four ladies he saw were standing beside him and the last one was sitting at the empty seat on his table.

Giving up on escaping he looked up, the moment he did so, his eyes widened so much, it was about to pop out of their socket.

'Holy shit! I know this woman!' He said inwardly remembering the time he spent hours with her on his phone screen.

"Don't bother to think of escaping." The woman said to Raven, taking the last piece of pie he had placed down before, and eating it on her own.

'Black jet hair, 6 '5 in height, large amounts of fat in both back and front, lips that would definitely feel like heaven when kissed. Skull accessories on her right shoulder and is wearing a red colored cloak, which makes it seem like a one-piece gown.' he sighed.

'Yep, she's her.'

Looking at her and taking a bite of his pie, Raven said, "I was already eating that before you got here," pointing at it.

The woman coughed in surprise at his words.

"Madam! Are you alright!" The purple-haired lady screams, pouring water down on a cup and handing it to her.

Raven, seeing her surprised by his words, smiled only before shifting his gaze to the purple-haired lady and thinking, 'And you.' His eyes filled with admiration.

…!

Raven was startled for a bit, the moment the lady glared at him, feeling death was on his back.

In fear he hit the back of his head on the wall, making him rub out the pain, while Madam prepared herself.
