"Welcome to my humble abode!" Alex voiced out with a warm, tired smile as he pushed Gabe's wheelchair into the large living room.
The living room was modestly decorated, simple but tasteful, with furniture that wasn't too big or expensive. The space wasn't enormous, but it carried a quiet charm, perfectly suited for a bachelor. Alex shut the door behind them and pushed Gabe further inside until they were both in the middle of the room.
Oh… so this is where he lives. Gabe thought to himself as his eyes roamed around the place. Not bad at all, though I expected something grander. He's the world's number one therapist, after all. But maybe he prefers to live quietly, away from extravagance. Even his office wasn't that big or luxurious like those of other therapists. His lips curved into a faint, melancholy smile, though his heart felt heavier than he let on.
