Synopsis: While unlocking one of his old presents, the young Ace discovered something new. What could it be? And does it include...Pulling A Rabbit Out of A Hat???
The last match between Hou & Vile Ranma was really fierce. While the Young Ace was on a roll, his smarts were still not enough to best the villainous boy. The latter now sits in his room, pondering how to beat him while also looking back at his past days with his friend.
Hou: I was so close...(sigh) How am I supposed to reach you?
While meditating, Garga also ponders how to combat against Destroyer.
Garga: [We could have won there...yet destiny decides to go against our wish...Was it meant to happen? Or was it not our time yet? ]
Suddenly, Hou's mother comes in.
Hou's Mother: What are you both doing lying around? Your room is an absolute mess.
But none of them responds, much to the latter's confusion.
Hou's Mother: Hello. I'm talking here. (sigh) Kids these days...(notices something in small shock)
Hou's Mother notices that Hou hasn't unboxed his wrapped present from a few weeks ago. It's the same present Hou's Mother bought him when he was hospitalized once. The present is lying on his side table.
Hou's Mother: You still haven't opened that?
She walks, gets the present, and passes it to her son.
Hou's Mother: Come On. I don't know much about Buddyfight, but I know that you need to get your act together. Besides, as the Ace of Games, you always get back up, right?
Hou notices this in surprise and gets the present. He looks at it sternly afterwards.
Hou: Garga. I think we have some work to do.
Garga: Hmm?

Hou unwraps his gift on his bed and, much to his surprise, it's a new booster box with new cards included.
Hou: Whoa. A new Booster Box.
Garga: Where did she get that?
Hou: I don't know, but let's open it.
Together, the two open the box and decide to unwrap packs one by one. The first pack's cards get their attention as Hou receives something new. To his surprise, it's a new flag.
Hou: Is that?
Then Cross comes into his room.
Cross: Am I interrupting?
Hou: Oh, Cross. Take a look at this. (Shows his flag)
Cross: Ah. A Magic world flag.
Garga: As the name implies, this world has strong spells in the pack. Players can manipulate them in order to gain an advantage over opponents.
Hou: Really? Spells?
Cross: Unlike your Dragon World playstyle, Hou, which centers around standard offense and defense, Magic World mostly has low power. That's why they make up for it with spells. It's their Hallmark.
Hou: So it's like doing Magic Tricks. Or Wizards and stuff.
Garga: Wizards?
Hou: You don't know what Wizards are?
Garga: Of course I do. I'm just surprised that you know such a thing.
Hou: Well, Wizards are like all-powerful magic people. Like they can go (hand movement) kaboom or kaplow or SHAZAM this sort of thing.
Garga: {Awkward} Yes. I suppose. [He has an odd mind.]
Hou: Hey. I just had an Idea. I should fight using Magic World. It's unpredictable. It's brand new. And I can perform this sort of thing for my Channel.
Garga: Good Idea. You haven't uploaded a video in a while. This could be a great chance.
Cross: Just one question. Do you have any Magic World cards?
That question stunned him in embarrassment.
Hou: Uh... Then I guess now would be a good time to unpack some more.
Cross: But before that, your mother asked me to tell you to clean your room. Or else you'll be grounded.
Hou: {Annoyed} What? Garga, help me out, please.
Garga: No. You're on your own. It's your room after all.
Hou: OH COME ON.
While all of this is going on, elsewhere at a stadium, a band is performing. There's one lead Guitarist, Drummer, Vocalist, and Bassist. Every one of them has a different hairstyle, and truly, as they play, the entire stadium just goes into earthquake mode.
???: (Shout & shreds guitar) YEAHHHHHHHH.
As the sound of the guitar comes to a halt...
???: (Bowing) Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You're all too kind.
But sadly, there's no one in the audience. The entire spectator area just went cricket, and it's incredibly quiet as a ghost.
???: Just my luck. Everytime...
???: I keep telling you, Note, you sound terrible.
Note: Shut Up, Sync. You're the one who sings loudly and annoyingly.
Sync: (Sigh) These foolish masses don't understand our joy of music.
???: There's literally no one here. What do you mean, foolish masses?
Note: Okay, okay, enough. Let's just take five and then we'll decide what to do later.
Sync: Aside from that, Note have you fought any opponents in the playoffs?
Note: No. Now that you mention it, I haven't had the time to do so. Although...(picks up his phone) I wonder who I should pick.
Note scrolls through the playoffs' official website and notices that one of the participants is Hou with 250 points.
Note: Hey. Isn't that Hou from the Whaddup Pals channel?
Sync: You mean that ignorant child that never appeals to the masses? Truly inadequate.
Note: Umm...what does inadequate mean?
Sync: (Sigh) You really need to pay attention in school. It means incompetent.
Note: What does that mean?
Sync: (Shakes his head) Oh dear...
Note: Hey. I just have an idea, why don't I face him in the playoffs? And if I do that, that would surely get our popularity up.
Sync: For once, I agree. This will be truly a spectacle.
Later at night, Hou & his friends went to Gwen's Cafe. Masato & Agito are also there.
Hou: Hey, Guys.
Masato: Sup, dude.
Gwen: Welcome.
Hou: Hey, Gwen, can I show you something?
Gwen: Sure, what is it?
Hou shows a cloth????
Gwen: A cloth???
Hou: (Pulls away the cloth and reveals a bouquet of roses) Presto.
Everyone's happily shocked.
Agito: Wait, what???
Masato: Where did those roses come from?
Hou: Magic. (Hands the roses to Gwen) These are for you.
Gwen: (Blushes & accepts) Oh. Thank you.
Amaterasu: Most Kind.
Garga: Masato. Can you come here for a second?
Masato: Sure. (Walks over) What do you need?
Garga: What's this doing behind your ear? (Pulls a coin out)
Agito: WHAT?
Masato: A COIN??? But I never put it there.
Hou: Now, (pulls a deck of cards out and spreads them) Pick a card, Agito.
Agito: {excited} Okay. (Pulls a card out)
Hou: Place it back in.
Agito puts the card back, and Hou shuffles the deck and pulls out a card, revealing.
Hou: Is this your card?
Agito: {Surprised} That is my card. Yes.
Masato: {Excited} For Share.
Garga: And now for the Finale. (Holds out a top hat) Here you go.
Hou: (Takes) Thank you. (Waves his right hand) AlaKaZam !!!
Suddenly, the Gar Trio pops out, but in new outfits. They all look like Wizards.
Gar Trio: Surprise!!!
Masato: Whoa. The Gar Trio.
Gwen: (claps) Now that IS a Finale. And look at them. New Outfits?
Garcat: That's right. We are now Magicians Too.
Gardog: Pretty cool, huh?
Agito: You guys look amazing. But how did you all pull off these tricks?
Hou: A magician never reveals his secrets. But one thing I'll reveal is that I'm gonna use Magic World for my next match.
Masato: Whoa. For Real?
Garga: And the Gar Trio's new forms are proof. Like last time, we went to Magic World to Train and acquired new gifts.
Hou: And I also received some Magic World cards from some packs I bought earlier. I can't wait to try them out.
Masato: I have a question. How did you like do this all in one day?
Garga: When it comes to travelling around different worlds, time works differently. When we're in Magic World, 3 hours have passed, but in reality, we were gone for only 25 minutes.
Agito: True that.
Suddenly, Hou's phone just received a notification, which he picks up.
Hou: Just what I needed. I got challenged. And it says his name is Note Hibikase?
Amaterasu: I know that name. But apparently I heard rumors that he's from a music band. A terrible one, to be precise.
Hou: {confused} O...kay? Well, let's see what he got.
The next day...
Ion: Another day for another match in the playoffs. This time, we have these two facing each other.
Tako: It's Ace of Games, Hou Ren versus Note Hibikase.
Note: Listen Up, Hou. I'm a total fool. Wait, scratch that. I'm a total cool rockstar who belongs to the band "Scarlet Rose".
Hou: Scarlet...what now?
Note: What a wet blanket. You never listen to music in life, you...
Sync: Millennial.
Note: Yeah. Millennial. That's what I was gonna say. Yeah.
Gwen: Okay, that was kinda awkward.
Masato: Tell me about it. I never even heard of the name "Scarlet Rose". It does kinda sound cool though.
Ion: Both Players. Luminize Please. We don't have all day.
Hou: A deity dragon's mages full of spells and tricks. Come On. Luminze. Dramagic.
Note: Bow before our timbre! Luminize! Magic Band, Scarlet Rose!
Ion: And...Buddyfight.
Both: Raise the Flag.
Note: Magic World.
Hou: Magic World.
Note: What?
Ion: Whoa. Hou's using Magic World this time? He's full of tricks today. Anyways, Note has the first move.
Note: Draw. Charge & Draw. I equip. Magic Guitar, Kinari. (Equips Item) Now, feel the shout of my...uh...
Sync: Soul.
Note: Yeah. The Shout of my soul. Right from these harmonious tunes.
Note strums his guitar, but it sounds very terrible. Everyone covers their ears in terror.
Masato: Oww. My Ears.
Hou receives one damage, 9 life left.
Ion: Terrible. Just Terrible. That wasn't harmonious. That was dreadful.
Note: Terrible? You're wrong. If anything, I just don't even know how to play the guitar. I'm not even good at social studies or history.
Ion: If you don't know how to play, then why would you be in a band?
Note: Isn't it obvious? I want to be popular.
Gwen: Huh?
Note: And yet. No matter how many times I tried, no one would bother to come to our live concerts. Just why? (High-Pitched Voice) WHY IS THIS HAPPENNING???
Ion: Because...YOU ARE TERRIBLE.
Note: Doesn't matter. I'm going to win this fight, and my popularity will soar.
Ion: I don't know about that. Anyways Hou. It's your turn.
Hou: Draw. Charge & Draw. I call Magidog to the left and Magibird to the center.
Both Monsters appear.
Magibird: This bird is ready to dazzle.
Magidog: Don't forget about me, dog.
Hou: With Magidog's effect, I discard the top two cards of my deck. I gain 1 gauge & 1 life for every spell revealed. (Does So) I call Magicat to the right.
Magicat: (Appears) Tada. I'm here and ready to blast.
Ion: Wow. All of the Gar Trio looks good. Like they're really Magicians.
Hou: With Magicat, I look at the top 3 cards of my deck, and one spell goes to my hand. I'm gonna cast. Nice One.
Magi-Trio: Oh, we won't be Nice.
Hou: I draw two cards.
Magibird: Hocus Pocus. I gained double attack.
Hou: Magi-Trio unite and attack the fighter one at a time.
Magidog: (Attacks) On my roll, with me, you two.
Magicat: (Attacks) Let's blast this guy for real.
Magibird: (Attacks) Don't we need to use potions too?
One by one, Note received a total of 4 damage.
Magibird: Double attack.
Note: Cast. Chillax.
Hou: My turn is now over.
Ion: A total of 4 damage. Great Start. But now it's Note's turn. Let's see how he will respond.
Note: Draw. Charge & Draw. I buddycall Magic Singer, Sync to the center.
The spotlight shines above the latter as he enters play.
Sync: Magic Singer, Sync is now on stage.
Note: A singer is never alone without his mates. I call Magic Drummer Byakuren to the right and Magic Bassist, Asagi, to the left.
Asagi: (Appears) Let's play.
Byakuren: (Appears) I'm gonna rock your world.
Ion: Whoa. This band has a base, drums, and even a lead singer.
Note: Hey, doesn't lead guitarist count? Cast. Flame Quartet.
Suddenly, the Guitar sounds shredded forth. And Note gains 2 life and 2 gauge.
Sync: Foolish masses. Remember this well. If you use fire spells, my ability increases all Mystic Knights' power & defense by 3000.
Note: And there's more. Cast. Scarlet Omega. (Pays 2 gauge & 1 life) I destroy all monsters on the opponent's field.
Magidog & Magicat: Ahhh. (Destroyed)
Magibird revives with Soulguard.
Note: For each card destroyed, I draw a card. And then, Sync's ability increases power once again. And with Byakuren's ability...
Byakuren: (Drums) I gain Penetrate, Dude.
Hou: Cast. Solomon's Wall. Byakuren is forced to rest.
Byakuren: (Rested) {Sad} Hey, come on. Not cool.
Note: Asagi. Attack Magibird.
Asagi: Playing. (Strums & creates soundwaves)
Magibird: I'm out for real. (Destroyed)
Asagi: Repeat. (Strums & creates soundwaves)
Hou receives 1 damage.
Note: Sync. Do your thing.
Sync: Scarlet Singer, Sync is now on stage. Ignorant Masses, prepared to be drunk by my beautiful voice. (Sings)
But the sound was not pleasant, with Hou covering his ears in dismay and receiving 2 damage.
Sync: Double attack. Now here's my solo. (Sings)
Hou: I Cast. Solomon Shield. (Blocks)
Note: Now it's personal. (Strums)
Hou: (Covers his ears) Not Again.
6 life left.
Ion: (Covers her ears) Not that sound again.
Tako: (Covers its ears) I can't hear a thing.
Note: Double attack. (Strums)
Hou: (Covers his ears) OWW.

Masato: Aww man.
Agito: That boy really needs some Guitar Lessons.
Ion: Hou. I don't know about you, but the sound is getting annoying. Win this now.
Hou: Whose side are you on? Draw. Charge & Draw. I buddycall Garga to the right.
Garga: (Appears) All are powerless before my blade.
Hou: MAGICAT!!!!
Magicat: I'm back in BABY!!!
Hou: (Adds a spell to his hand) I cast. Key of Solomon First Volume. (Gains 2 gauge) And once again, I cast, Nice One. (Draws) Equip. Deity Dragon Hat, GarlaKazam. (Equips a Wizard hat???) Now, who wants a Magic Show?
Gwen & Masato & Ion: {Excited} I do.
Hou: Garga. On my roll.
Garga: Certainly.
Hou: For my first trick, (Holds out his hat and...) Hocus Pocus.
Suddenly, some white birds flew out of the hat and attacked Sync, much to his dismay, while buzzing them off.
Sync: OWWW. SHOO.
Ion: WOW. Some White Birds just flew out of the hat.
Garga then suddenly flies in with his swords while saying, "Allow Me!!!".
Note: Nope!! Cast. Deep Blaze Singularity.
Sync suddenly Aura farms and destroys the birds and blocks Garga's attack.
Ion: Oh, never mind, they're gone.
Note: All of your card's power is reduced by 3000.
Sync: And the Mystic Knights gain 3000 defense.
Ion: That means Sync has 15000 defense.
Hou: Magicat and Garga alone can't hit him. Not bad.
Suddenly, Hou stomps the ground, cracking his neck left and right, turning his wrist wraps. His eyes suddenly turn extreme and cat-like as he picks a card.
Hou: Gargantua Dragon. G-EVO Activate. Change. Gargantua Blade Mage.
Garga changes form. Multiple spells surround him, left and right, top to bottom. Slowly, he alters into something new. Something green. Yet something of a wizard. He now becomes a greenish wizard with multiple grey palettes behind him while equipping a wand.
Garga: I am the deity of mages. I am Gargantua Blade Mage.
Everyone's surprised.
Ion: WOW. Now Garga becomes a Magician TOO. How many tricks does he have?
Garga: To answer that, we have plenty. Now, let's give the audience some joy.
Hou: Way ahead of you. I cast. Godmagic, Firsttry. I move Godmagic Nexent to my hand. (Does so) And every time I cast a spell, Garga destroys one of the opponent's monsters. So Sayonara, Asagi.
Asagi is defeated.
Hou: There's more. When I cast a spell, Garlakazam deals 1 damage to the opponent. (Shoots birds out of his hat)
Note: Not again. Shoo.
8 life left.
Hou: Now I cast. Godmagic, Nexent. I nullify Sync's ability.
All: WHAT?
Sync is suddenly affected by spells, much to his dismay.
Garga: Sayonara, Sync. (Cast a spell)
Sync: It would seem my presence is imperfect. Goodbye, Baby. (Destroyed)
Note: Sync !!!
Hou: One more time. (Shoots birds out of his hat)
7 life left.
Hou: Okay, Garga and Magicat. Attack the fighter.
Garga & Magicat: Right. (Attacks)
Magicat's attack hits, but as for Garga's...
Note: Cast. Chillax. (Reduce Damage) I have 8 life points remaining. Meaning you can't use Deity Gargantua Punisher.
Hou: Did I forget to mention that there's a Grand Finale?
Ion: Oh?
Hou: Showtime.
Garga suddenly cast a spell and spins his pallets around in greenish energy.
Garga: Now watch closely.
Ion: Superb. I never thought Hou & Garga would be pulling such a feat. They truly are Magicians themselves.
Tako: I'm under their spell.
Hou: On my mark.
Garga: Yes.
Both: BLADE MAGE... BLASTER!!! (Fires Energy)
Note receives an astonishing 5 DAMAGE!!!! 3 life left.
Hou: By returning 6 spells from the dropzone to my deck, Garga deals 5 damage to the opponent. How you like them apples?
Ion: Incredible. Note now has 3 life. What a move.
Hou: Final Phase. (Pays 2 gauge) I cast. Deity Gargantua Punisher.
Impact Sequence.
Hou: IMPACT. DEITY. GARGANTUA....PUNISHER!!!!!!!
Punisher hits, and Hou wins.
Hou: Witnessed and set. I win the game.
The Crowd cheers loudly. His friends cheer.
Ion: Can you believe that it's the first time Hou uses Magic World so well? As a result, since Note set it to 200, Hou receives 200 points and Note loses the same amount.
Note: Aww man...
Hou: Hey, Note.
Note: Huh?
Hou: (walks in) I'm no music expert. But I would suggest you receive some Guitar Lessons. And as well as Lessons on how to create a song.
Note: You...
Hou: I'm not trying to insult. But practice makes perfect. You catch my drift?
Note: I...(smiles) Can't believe I'm saying this, but...Ace of Games, I wish you the best of luck.
Both players smile and shake hands.
Masato: He never ceases, does he?
Agito: He sure is an odd one.
Gwen: Even though I'm his childhood friend, I can tell Hou really is more than just himself.
Amaterasu: Agreed.
Later at home, Hou, Gar Trio & Garga check the result of their new video. It went well.
Hou: We're back on top, peeps.
Garga: Magic World really is a great experience for all of us.
Magicat: Let's go again with our next trick.
Hou: Way ahead of you. I already had an idea. And this requires a box and a saw.
Outside of Hou's House.
Garga: Isn't that trick too dangerous?
Hou: But it's a cool trick. Like you're not actually sawed. We just need a mannequin. Or just fake legs. And to top it off, let's give them a fireworks show as a finale.
Garga: You really are a thrill seeker...
Elsewhere, in an abandoned alley, Jasraj watches him in disgust through their latest video.
Intro Segment Plays.
Both: Whaddup Pals.
Hou: Hey guys, it's us again, and we're going to introduce a special card.
Garga: This is today's card. Check it out.
Hou: Gargantua Blade Mage. This Garga allows you to cast any spells as you want.
Garga: Every time you cast a spell, a monster on the opponent's field is eliminated. Combo this with Godmagic Nexent. This way, you can nullify abilities and destroy them.
Hou: And that's not all. When Blade Mage finishes attacking, you may return 6 spells from the dropzone to the bottom of the deck. And you can unleash the powerful Blade Mage Blaster and deal 5 damage to your opponent.
Garga: Magic World may be weak in power. But like I said, they have strong spells to compensate for it. And adding my ability as a bonus, you could be unstoppable.
