Chapter 140: Names
The next day, Theo brought Argash to the darkness.
That was what everyone called it. Not because it was underground or hidden. It was because people entered it as someone and left it as nothing.
Argash was pushed inside the room with his hands cuffed behind his back. The door closed. .
He tried to lift his head. The light was low. He could not see faces at first.
Then Theo spoke from behind him.
"You enjoy this place," Theo spoke slowly. "You liked rooms like this."
Argash swallowed. "Theo," he whispered. "Listen to me."
Theo ignored him and stepped to the side.
The door opened again.
Women walked in one by one.
They didn't wear the same clothes. They didn't look like a group. But they shared the same eyes. Focused... Cold…Awake…
Argash stopped moving immediately.
"No," he hushed. "No. This is sick."
Theo smiled. "That word never bothered you before."
The women formed a circle around Argash. None of them touched him yet.
