Amon put them all on except the spatial ring as all of his fingers were occupied by mana rings.

"Done." he said and stretched leisurely before putting all the blood hound corpses into the spatial ring. Once done, he gave it to Nyx, "Here, I'll leave this in your hands. We still have an hour or two so we should cook some of it before setting off."

"I'll take care of the cooking part." Mike said and Nyx gave him one blood hound.

Amon looked away and focused on himself.

With Spatial ring, magic rings and the trenchcoat costing 50, 500 and 100 respectively, Amon had used up 650 stream points in less than a minute but his items made him feel more confident.

Even though he was at FF rank, they pushed his stats to the upper levels of E rank. Mana and Magic stat went well with his glove's skill, shock touch. The damage scaled with both of them and having more damage meant better healing with his lifesteal.

Amon went ahead and used 10 of his mind points on Damage Reflection. He tried pushing his shop up a rank but it just didn't work. In fact, there wasn't even an upgrade button.

His Spider Silk which had changed from Steel Silk, didn't really undergo much of a change other than being able to shoot it out of his body at high speeds. It's durability and stickiness increased by a good amount too.

After sneaking a glance at Mike and Nyx who were walking out, Amon bent his middle finger and ring finger towards his palm while keeping the others extended out.

'Now… go!' he yelled inwardly and watched as webbing shot out from his whole hand. It was thick, but Amon could pull it back into his body.

"I'll need some training to resemble the friendly neighbourhood superhero… heh, this trench coat is getting in the way though." he chuckled as he moved on to his other skills.

Silk Master didn't undergo any special changes other than improving Amon's mana efficiency. At FFF rank, he would consume 10 mana per minute but now, he could go on for five whole minutes for the same costs.

With his mana at 240 points, it was equivalent to using the skill for two whole hours.

As for his other two skills…

[Lifesteal (E): Recover 20% of the damage you deal as Health.]

[Damage Reflection (FF): Reflects 8% of incoming damage, calculated from the damage you would take without considering your defense]

These two skills were synergistic as the reflected damage triggered lifesteal. In other words, as long as the skills were upgraded to higher ranks and some conditions were met, Amon's enemies would end up killing themselves while he simply took their attacks and laughed at their faces.

Amon didn't dwell on this skill much longer and joined his team. The hound's lean limbs were chopped off and the hide was tossed to the side. A medium sized flame burned while the four limbs hung around it.

"This is gonna take a few hours isn't it?" Amon asked as he took in the sight and Mike sighed, "Yeah… we used stoves back when we were with the group but now… we have nothing to rely on."

"Then…" Amon muttered and unhesitatingly, splurged even more of his money. Luckily he found a good stove in the market so he didn't need to spend his stream points on this.

A large cardboard box appeared beside him.

"Well… there's a variety of utensils, cutlery and knives in here along with a nice mana powered stove. We won't be able to cook whole legs on it though." he said as he ripped the box open and grabbed the things he needed.

Stove turned on without any problems and Amon placed a huge pot on top. Then, he cut up the meat into smaller chunks and tossed it into the pot with some oil and salt.

Mike and Nyx helped by slicing up the meat on the other legs and did the same as him.

While the meat cooked, Amon used 1 coin to buy a thick stack of tortillas and one stack contained a 100 of them.

Twenty minutes later, the meat was completely cooked and the trio made themselves a simple taco. There meat tasted gamey but they were used to it.

To them, food was something used purely for sustenance and consuming dried up jerky and some biscuits every single day, was a common thing until now.

While Amon considered this a bare minimum, the current meal was akin to celebrating a festival.

It didn't take long for them to fill up their stomachs but a lot of meat was still left in the pot.

"We'll come back later and eat it… nah, let's store them in the ring." Amon said as he began building more tacos and put them all in Nyx's spatial ring.

With some time still remaining, Amon used the remaining a few stream points to buy an F ranked canteen that could produce infinite water as long as one kept feeding it mana. He also bought a water heating crystal to make baths a little more relaxing.

With the quality of life improvements done to his house, Amon walked out of his mini bunker and looked up at the sky that had turned dark. The usual plain sky now had 14 flickering dots.
