Welter is getting ready to map out a abandoned tunnel, he grabs a pistol and a ammo pack along with a backpack with things to help along the way, two soldiers along with a fresh recruit accompany him.
The gate to the checkpoint opens and the group walks out Welter looks behind him and watchs it close. "Ok everyone lights on" the group walks down the tunnel for a while before finding anything, a soldier speaks calmly "Pre Dome ruins watch out for bandits and mutants" the recruit gulps and walks forward with the group, the group goes quiet when they hear gunfire and screams from the ruins they sneak in and what they see makes their eyes widen mutant tearing a bandit head off the group hides behind some barrels
"Its A class for sure it looks like a mutated slice plate, i fucking hate mutated versions of anything with armor" Welter sighs "a normal slice plates only weakness is it's spine but this mother fucker is mutated so it has a random 3 segments of its spine unplated" Welter groans and the recruit goes stiff "relax it can't hesr shit through those plates unless you sceam up against it or shoot in 20 feet of it" the gunfire stops but the screams don't along with the sound of a man being ripped in half, Welter signals to the group and they sneak up on it Welter looks at its back seeing the unplated part of the spine and he points and the soldiers shoot it in the spine and it collapses dead
Everyone let's out a sigh then the recruit pukes all over the floor "sorry" Welter pats his shoulder "your fine i puked when i first saw a dude get ripped in half it's natural and no you'll never fully get over the screams" Welter smiles and the group continues. Exploring the ruins finding out its a warehouse filled with ammo and food.
Welter grabs his radio "command this is map crew 36 over" it takes a second but Welter hears "go ahead over" Welter responds with "we found a Pre Dome warehouse filled with ammo and food requesting a team come pick it up over" Welter waits "stand by... Roger sending team continue maping over" Welter signals for his team to start heading out "affirmative out"
Welter puts his radio back on his belt and his group gets out of the ruins and continue down the tunnel, the recruit now confident takes front. A Grave mistake meny recruits gave made, Welter pulls him back into second "stay behind the experienced soldier" Welter hits the ground seeing a bullet tear through the soldier in front his corpse hitting the ground, the second soldier shoots the bandit in the shoulder making the bandit lose his gun and collapse in pain screaming in agony Welter grabs the dead soldiers rifle the m70, Welter also grabs all the ammo and food from the dead body, roars echo through the tunnel of hungry mutants Welter spots a door a metel one he starts to run "follow me!" Welter now sprinting to the door the recruit and soldier right behind him Welter made it now the other two need to make it but a mutant a ugly dog runs up to the soldier and bites his leg the soldier aims down and shoots it in the head, the recruit made it but the soldier looks at the Welter and throws his ammo pack the recruit catches it, the soldier shoots the mutants till his mag is empty then he limps towards the mutants immediately his hand is gone ripped off by a mutant dog but he crushes its head with his bear hands, his body knows it won't make it so its removing the human limits that stop humans from destroying themselves and it pumps the last of his adrenaline into his system and he kills dog after dog and when they finally pile him he pulls the pin of his special grenade, Welter slams the door after watching in awe and he hears a " BOOM!!!" It shakes the door but it definitely didn't get rid of all of the mutant dog's and the scratch against the door Welter lets out a sigh of relief and he turn to the recruit "fuck..." The recruit head jerks and slams against the door as a bone spike goes through his head and Welter spins to where the spike came from to see a spike throat, the spike throat gurgle getting ready to spit another bone spike out, Walter runs but as he runs it shoots another bone spike out of it's mouth and it grazes the side of his stomach at it and punchs it in the throat making it unable to spit spikes he then grabs his knife and stabs it in the head "fuck" he clutch his side its bleeding profusely, as he starts to pass out he hears
