Most likely because they lived so close and more or less attended the same class.

Trying to hide the pink blush on his face with the hoodie, but it didn't escape her eyes, and she felt her sadness fade, replaced by evilness.

"Waaaah, now you want my number after abandoning me, huh? Hmph, say please…" she said evilly, but all Everlearn did was immediately turn his back.

"Okay, fine!"

She said, and he paused, his face replaced by a mocking grin, which she felt like punching in.

She typed in her number on his device before returning it.

"Wipe your tears," he said before turning his back, and her face turned red.
