Harper completely stepped out of the car, stared at me for a brief second, then looked away.
The driver's side door opened and Julian stepped out. She walked past me like I didn't exist, like she and the bastard she had as a fiancé hadn't just tried to run me over.
"Are you okay?" Julian asked her.
"I am." She looped her arm through his and started walking toward the building.
My throat worked as I watched them ignore me like I was trash. My fingers clenched tightly at my side and, unable to control my rage, I stepped into my car parked next to theirs, started the engine, and drove straight in front of them, blocking their path.
I turned off the engine and stepped out.
Harper raised a brow as she stared at me. Julian's jaw clenched and his eyes narrowed in anger.
Good. I had their attention now.
"Really?" Harper said, cutting through the silence. "You're going to act petty because I chose to ignore your ass back there?"
