Dary's POV
"This is absolutely insane!" I exploded, watching my father lean against the doorframe with his arms crossed, that stubborn expression I knew all too well etched across his face. Mom perched on the edge of my bed, her hands folded in her lap like she was preparing for battle.
"I refuse to participate in Luna trials."
Mom exhaled slowly, the sound heavy with frustration. "Dary, you've been rejecting every potential Luna we've presented. We've exhausted every resource trying to locate Celina. While we understand your dedication to finding her, the pack doesn't share that understanding. They're not interested in your heartbreak. An Alpha's mental state directly impacts the entire pack's stability."
Her voice rose slightly. "You've been hunting for Celina for over two years now. We've deployed our most skilled warriors and trackers across three states, but she's vanished completely. Every lead has gone cold."
