Theodore's POV
The instant Elder Gina escorted Seraphine to her residence, a hollow ache carved itself into my chest. It felt as though half of my existence had been torn away and dragged into the distance.
My arousal throbbed painfully against my pants, every nerve ending still blazing from her touch. The memory of her small hands on me had Federico clawing at the walls of my mind, desperate and wild with hunger.
I fought Elder Gina's decision with everything I had, but when Seraphine herself insisted we honor the old ways, I was forced to surrender. Before she departed, she rose on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to my jaw. The simple contact stole the breath from my lungs and sent tremors through my entire being.
She had been gone less than ten minutes when the agitation started. I found myself stalking back and forth across my chambers like a caged animal.
