"This is truly surprising," Rizevim said, his eyes flickering with a mix of shock and intrigue as he looked at Vali, crumpled on the ground.
Rizevim had raised Vali himself, nurturing his exceptional talent, which had grown rapidly. With the Divine Dividing, Vali was undeniably the strongest White Dragon Emperor in history.
He might not be the world's strongest yet, but he was certainly a renowned powerhouse.
He could hold his own against any god.
Even if he couldn't win, he could at least escape unscathed.
Even Rizevim himself would need some effort to defeat Vali.
So, the idea that Vali could be taken down in an instant? Rizevim had never considered it possible.
Though he wasn't sure how Morpheus had done it, the fact remained—it had happened right before his eyes.
This was utterly astonishing.
Yet, Rizevim didn't panic. Besides Vali, he had an even stronger ally by his side.
"I'll admit, I underestimated you," Rizevim said. "Alaya inviting you makes sense now."
"So, Morpheus, can't we just get along peacefully?"
Morpheus shook his head. "Ever since I learned what Umbrella's been up to, there's no room for peace between us."
Rizevim sighed. "That's a real shame."
The moment the words left his mouth, Rizevim struck.
The guy didn't play fair, launching a sneak attack.
He left an illusion to distract Morpheus while he appeared behind him, aiming a strike at his heart.
The blow could've ripped Morpheus's heart right out.
But just as Rizevim's hand was about to connect, Morpheus vanished.
Along with him, Rias, disappeared too.
The next second, Morpheus reappeared in front of Rizevim's illusion, effortlessly shattering it.
The entire exchange happened in the blink of an eye.
It was as if the two had swapped places.
Morpheus grinned at Rizevim, beckoning with a finger. "Come on, let's have some fun."
Rizevim's expression grew serious. Though their clash was brief, he already knew this opponent wasn't one to take lightly—a foe worthy of respect.
As Rizevim assumed a combat stance, he shifted his footing slightly.
But in that instant, Morpheus closed the distance, appearing right in front of him.
Rizevim was utterly baffled.
Morpheus's movement was beyond his comprehension.
Then, Morpheus raised his right hand and threw a straight punch!
Danger, danger, danger, danger!
A tidal wave of dread surged through Rizevim's mind.
Reacting instantly, he raised his left hand to block Morpheus's punch.
He unfurled his Lucifer Wings, boosting his power.
But even after catching the punch, Rizevim realized his strength couldn't match the force behind Morpheus's fist.
They weren't even in the same league.
Morpheus channeled all his strength into his fist, landing a brutal blow square on Rizevim's face.
Boom!
Like a cannonball, Rizevim smashed through the church's doors and flew out, crashing to the ground in a heap.
But the next second, he staggered to his feet, touching his battered cheek.
That punch had done some damage—his nose was broken, blood gushing out.
For the son of a Satan, though, such an injury was trivial.
Rizevim forcibly snapped his nose back into place, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.
He couldn't fathom losing to a human.
"Are you really human?
"Technically, you should call me a Extra-Dimensional Demon."
"Extra-Dimensional Demon? What kind of demon is that?" Rizevim tilted his head, completely unfamiliar with the term.
But that didn't quell his fury. Other than his father, no one had ever beaten him like this.
His pride was deeply wounded.
He gathered glowing magical energy in his hands and fully unfurled his Lucifer Wings.
Seeing this, Morpheus took to the air as well.
Rizevim was the first truly powerful opponent Morpheus had faced, and he was eager to play.
They clashed mid-air, unleashing barrages of magical energy! At times, they closed the distance for close-quarters combat.
Morpheus's fists and Rizevim's kicks landed on each other's bodies.
The shockwaves from their attacks alone caused surrounding buildings to collapse.
Morpheus laughed with exhilaration.
This fight was thrilling.
Rizevim's wings seemed to have a mind of their own, twisting and striking at Morpheus.
The sharp tips of the wings lunged forward, but Morpheus dodged with blinding speed. The wings extended further, demolishing buildings and roads below.
Then, Rizevim unleashed several massive magical energy blasts.
Each blast was extraordinarily dense and destructive, with terrifying power.
Yet, facing the onslaught of these enormous, high-density magical blasts, Morpheus deflected them all with punches and kicks.
The deflected blasts flew into Silent Hill's streets and buildings, some even reaching far-off areas, crashing into the landscape.
Each impact triggered massive explosions.
The shockwaves swept outward. The closest blast obliterated several buildings, leaving a massive crater in its wake.
This was why Silent Hill's ground was riddled with craters.
Truth be told, the Otherworld of Silent Hill hadn't collapsed yet only because Morpheus and Rizevim were focusing most of their power on each other.
The energy that leaked out was just a fraction of their might.
Otherwise, all of Silent Hill would've been obliterated.
Realizing how formidable Morpheus was, Rizevim intensified his assault, his wings flaring with even greater ferocity as his aura blazed.
Then, he soared higher, looking down at Morpheus from above.
"Hey! If that's how it's gonna be, I'll hit you with my strongest attack! Your friends are down there, right? If you dodge, they're done for!"
He seemed to think Rias was Morpheus's companion.
And, well, he wasn't exactly wrong.
Rias was brought by Morpheus, making her his companion in a sense.
Rizevim pushed his aura to an unprecedented, overwhelming intensity, channeling it into his hands.
In an instant, his hands radiated an unimaginable amount of magical energy.
This was the power befitting the son of a Satan.
