Not only Calvin, but Alan and Freya were also left completely dumbfounded when they witnessed Everly suddenly unleashed a kick at Calvin. The only difference was that while Alan and Freya stood there motionless, Calvin went flying through the air like a soccer ball, landing with a thud in the bushes.
"Why on earth...?"
Calvin's words were cut short as he started coughing and looked like he was about to hurl his guts out. Everly simply planted her hands on her hips and let out a derisive snort at Calvin.
She had actually held back her strength so as not to cause any serious harm to this imbecile. Even though her cousin was a total jerk, that didn't mean she wanted to send him to an early grave.
"You moron!!! For the sake of some other woman who's clearly a sly vixen, you're willing to hurt your own wife? You're a complete embarrassment! Your parents should be ashamed! Your whole family is a laughingstock! Even your long-dead ancestors are probably rolling in their graves!"
