Chapter 6 - 4th plate

Shinji watched as three beings stepped through the threshold of his restaraunt, the energy rolling off of them was palpable to his senses. The red one in particular stood out to him as well as the one with green. The one of red felt like destruction incarnate and the one in green felt extremely calculated. The one dressed like a Mahou shoujo character felt like she gave off waves of ice and extreme colds, like she could approach sub-zero powers with ease, being someone of a phantasmal nature.

It was obvious they were devils, their energy signatures and basic feel was the same as Rias and Co, but it was obvious the devils were more surprised by the others in the restaraunt. Two human mages, each with unique feel to them, an aura of polar opposites. The girl felt dark and distorted, almost as if she was a bottomless abyss of evil. The boy, even while suppressing his own power, had enough to dwarf even Sirzechs in the energy department.

Then there was the old man who looked so much like a vampire yet the fact he was human didn't escape them. The raw power he exuded dwarfed many mages, and it was obvious he was older than most, his countenanced reminding them of the devils who have lived for over a thousand years.

"So this is the place" said Ajuka as he observed the place, a magic circle flaring on his finger. Sakura, thinking he was about to attack, seemed to ready a water type magecraft, but was stopped by Shinji. "Sakura, it isn't attack magecraft" said Shinji calmly, feeling the spell felt more similar to structural grasp.

"The amount of magical energy flowing through this place, a restaraunt of all places, is unreal" Ajuka said in surprise, which should mean something to an extent. Zelretch laughed, well, more of a chuckle as the curious devils turned their heads towards him. "I did not think I would see a descendant of the seventy-two in the modern day, my master would be proud indeed" he said, casually revealing their identities.

"Ah, I see your familiar with us, a native of our world perhaps?" asked Serafall with a coquetish grin. Zelretch eyed her up and down, almost as if he was looking for the opportunity to share a joke or something else among them. "Nope, I am not from your world, but I am familiar with a version of the Ars goetia, at least in concept" he said.

"In concept? What does your version of the seventy-two seem like?" asked Ajuka, his research mode clearly now on display. "Well, my teacher devised it more of like a system to look after humanity after his demise, something to promote reason in a sense" said Zelretch and if there was one thing that would have nocked the Satan on their feet, it was the fact he admitted being the student of one of the most famous mages in their world, Solomon.

"Are you saying you know Solomon?!" shouted Serafall as she slammed her hands on the table. "A Solomon yes" said Zelretch as he chuckled. The devils widened their eyes at the info, and it seemed an idea entered his head. "Say, what's your name girl?" asked Zelretch to Serafall as she introduced himself. "I see your interested in magical girls yes?" Zelretch smiled a knowing smile, a smile that seemed to fill the mages with dread. A smiling Zelretch is a bad Zelretch.

"Yes!" Serafall said with enthusiasm, and it would seem the topic would be lost for a bit. "I happen to have a wand I think you might like, if your willing to strike a deal with me?" said Zelretch. "Of course!" she shouted and Zelretch seemingly produced a wand that was red in color with a golden star with small angel wings.

Serafall grasped the wand and it sprang to life. "Host found, bonding in progress. 10%.....55%...100%!" shouted the wand as it flew into the air. "Hello Mahou Shoujou! I am magical ruby and I will make you the best magical girl!" it shouted in excitement. Serafall only had stars in her eyes as she transformed into an actual Mahou Shoujou outfit. It seemed kinda standard, with red and white frill skirt. It of course had some reveal, seemingly matching the new owners taste.

"Magical Levia-tan at duty!" Serafall declared in delight. "Were never gonna live this down are we?" asked Ajuka with a deadpan expression as Sirzechs nodded. It seemed like Sirzechs was resigned to the weirdness but he did approach Shinji to get the original idea taken care of.

"Sir, I know you come from another world and there is things we both might want" said Sirzechs. Shinji nodded, and Sirzechs pulled out a piece of parchment marked with the crest of the Gremory clan in black ink.

"I wish to have access to this otherworld of yours" said Sirzechs, making his intentions clear. What leader would he be if he left a resource of this magnitude untouched and potentially in danger in falling into enemy hands. Plus, having access to new resources is always a plus, even if he gets disappointed in some aspects in the future.

Shinji, with a smile, was quite analytical of the deal. Having a deal like this with the Gremory child was one thing, but the way the man carried himself seemingly spoke of higher bearing than the girl, even if she was of same stock if the hair and eyes were indicator. Of course, the deal must be made carefully and with full advantage in his favor.

"A good opportunity" said Shinji as he already had new ideas to use. Getting access to demonic magic would give him an up in his own world, especially for the events that are to come. A holy grail war is something inevitable, an event he nows will happen soon, and getting any resource he can to deepen his own advantage is only the smart thing to do.
