Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 The Law of Gravity Has Been Overturned

Five minutes later, Lana ran out of the auditorium, covered in blood.

Her consciousness was scattered, and her heart was filled with terror!

She couldn't think of anything else, nor did she have any blank space in her mind to consider other things; her only thought was to escape!

Escape!

Get away from that devil!

The image of her boyfriend, Whitney, collapsing in front of her, covered in blood and convulsing, replayed in her mind like an unfilterable scene.

The thread of her sanity seemed on the verge of snapping the next second!

Fear and helplessness enveloped her.

From the first person falling to her escape, those terrifying scenes replayed in her mind again and again.

The main power switch exploded!

The curtains of the entire auditorium were blown to shreds, and thick, silvery high-voltage wires floated in the air, writhing and coiling like venomous snakes emerging from an Indian monk's basket, filled with a terrifying aura.

The moment she escaped, a bright flash streaked by, accompanied by screams and the terrifying roar of a microphone.

Lana turned her head just in time to see her classmate, Fleck, clutching a microphone stand, his hands firmly stuck to it.

His eyes bulged, his hair stood on end, and his shirt began to smoke.

Finally, Fleck tumbled onto a giant loudspeaker, producing an earth-shattering sound.

"Crack!"

A purple flash emanated from the auditorium, immediately pulling Lana back to reality.

Gasping for breath, she continued to stumble and run away.

On the other side, Eric, who was fighting Clark, also saw everything that happened at the dance auditorium.

Even with Super Vision, the auditorium was miles away, but it couldn't obstruct his sight.

He hasn't completely gone insane yet?

The targets of his revenge are all football players; he's letting the innocent students and teachers escape.

Seeing everything Jerome did in the auditorium, Eric scoffed.

If you want to be a villain, you must completely abandon sympathy and kindness.

Hesitating now, entangled in the blurred line between good and evil, will only lead to death!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Fists collided with muscle, producing terrifying explosive sounds.

In the sparse woods, a quiet place unnoticed by anyone.

The two exchanged several rounds in a short time.

Although Clark's strength and speed still couldn't compare to Eric's, he could barely keep up with his rhythm.

Clark's innate combat talent was fully unleashed, going from being completely at a disadvantage to barely being able to contend with him.

But Eric's Homelander Template was also continuously unlocking, and Clark's pressure forced him to constantly become stronger.

The template progress increased from 70% at the beginning to 78% now.

While strength, speed, stamina, and agility increased, he still firmly suppressed Clark.

While dodging a punch from Clark, Eric deliberately exposed a weakness, pretending to be slightly off balance.

The inexperienced Clark indeed fell for it, taking advantage of Eric's unstable footing to grab his arm.

Controlling Eric's arm, Clark lunged forward with all his might.

But the subsequent development did not unfold as Clark had imagined.

Eric's arm, with a strange arc, broke free from Clark's control, and at the same time, he lifted his right leg.

A fierce knee strike caused Clark to stumble.

Eric grabbed Clark's shoulders as his body lost balance.

Eric, showing no mercy, used a wrestling throw, slamming his opponent heavily to the ground.

Boom!

With a thunderous sound like a cannon blast, Clark's body slammed hard onto the solid dirt.

A large, concave pit was formed in the ground, and dirt rained down like water.

Lying at the bottom of the pit, Clark gasped for breath.

His physical strength was on the verge of exhaustion; now, moving a single finger was difficult.

Although the sudden burst of power caused Eric enough trouble, it was, after all, newly awakened strength.

Not knowing his Kryptonian identity, nor the responsibilities he bore, Clark Kent was currently just a high school student who had just entered middle school.

Facing Eric, whose Homelander Template progress had already unlocked to 78%, being able to fight to this extent was already an exceptional performance.

The final victor, Eric, stood at the edge of the deep pit, his right hand clenched into a fist, feeling the changes in his body.

His heart pounded rapidly, and his vision and perception became sharper.

The chirping of crickets in the distant jungle reached his ears; sounds that were once faint now sounded exceptionally clear.

Not only did his strength, stamina, agility, and auditory perception enhance,

Eric took a step forward.

He didn't directly fall from the air but rather stood on air, directly suspended in the air.

Clark at the bottom of the pit watched Eric hovering in mid-air, his eyes wide.

What is this?

While he was still running, Eric could already defy gravity and float in the air?

Has Eric's talent already surpassed the limitations of Earth?

Clark, who was already feeling inferior, became even more withdrawn at this moment.

Feeling his body floating in the air, Eric took a deep breath.

Is this the ability to fly?

Although it had just been unlocked and he could only simply float in the air, as the Homelander Template progress continued to unlock, he would surely master the ability to fly very quickly.

Thud!

Dismissing his floating ability, Eric jumped down to Clark's side at the bottom of the pit.

"Clark, it's all over."

Eric, his eyes gleaming with an unusual light, glanced towards the school auditorium in the distance.

"Perhaps you should go to the dance and see what you've ignored and hoped not to see, is unfolding there."

"The dance?"

Clark's eyes were filled with confusion, "Are you saying...?"

A bright silver lightning bolt suddenly shot into the sky, illuminating the entire night.

The lightning coming from the direction of the school completely stunned Clark!

"Lana?!"

Realizing that Lana might be in danger at the dance, Clark immediately ignored his pain, stood up from the ground, and sprinted towards the school.

With Super Speed activated, he transformed into a rushing gust of wind.

Watching Clark's retreating figure, Eric slowly shook his head.

Lana, whom Clark was worried about, was nervously hiding behind a statue near the library.

The fountain and thorny bushes, under the cover of night, concealed her body.

Lana, who had been running all the way, was soaked with sweat and blood, trembling.

Her hands clasped together, she desperately prayed that the devil wouldn't come over.

However, what she dreaded still happened; the demon, whose body emitted lightning, still walked over.

The sound of footsteps on the ground made Lana's heart pound with terror.
