Chapter 14: Emperor

After the meteor collided with the planet,

Eight months had passed since the day the meteor struck.

Earthquakes split the lands. Tsunamis struck coastlines. Storms were found everywhere on the continents. This was the effect of Ank when he collided with the ground after unsealing from a meteor.

Now Duskwild was facing the consequences of the meteor crashing on the planet.

Duskwild was a world of five continents, though only two still offered sanctuary to life.

The first continent was called the Eternal Graveyard, its name born from its downfall. A thousand years ago, great battles erupted, leaving the land poisoned by deadly radiation, a land where even the wind carried death.

The second continent was the Beast Continent, a savage domain crawling with monsters. Titans roamed its valleys, serpents ruled its skies, and monsters lurked in every shadow. No man or woman dared set foot there willingly. It was a land their god could also struggle to keep alive himself.

The third continent was the Central Continent, home of humans. But peace was foreign to them. The land was divided into countless kingdoms, each clawing for territory, resources, and Domination. Small wars erupted endlessly—wars that meant nothing in the face of Duskwild's greater calamities.

The fourth continent had once been fertile, a jewel of life and harvest. But two thousand years ago, a plague unlike any other swept across its fields. The dead rose, hunger guiding them, and civilization there fell within a generation. Now, it was the Continent of the Undead, a massive zombie outbreak that turned it into its current condition.

The fifth continent was called the Diamond Heart Continent. Unlike the others, it had unity ,it was also same as central continent but its kingdoms now were forged together beneath the banner of a single emperor. His rule brought stability, prosperity and strength where once war was common.

Yet even Diamond Heart was not spared.

For two months, tempests raged without stopping. Clouds blackened the skies, lightning danced across horizons, and howling winds turned cities into ruins. Rain fell like spears, tearing through wood and stone alike. Even the bravest men felt despair, and that was the condition all over the planet.

It was in this darkness that the people of Diamond Heart turned their hopes to one man—their emperor.

The Capital City: Noah

In the heart of the continent, where walls of white stone rose against the storm, stood the capital city, Noah. Noah was the jewel of Diamond Heart, the city that symbolized humanity's will to survive. The city that no one could invade, the safest city on the planet.

At its center stood the Imperial Palace, a fortress of marble and steel, its spires clawing toward the storm-darkened sky. The banners of the empire, marked with the sigil of a diamond encasing a flame, whipped violently in the wind.

Inside the palace, an urgent meeting had been declared. The emperor himself had summoned his ministers.

The throne room was vast, its ceiling high and lined with drawings that told the empire's history. Golden chandeliers trembled as the storm outside rattled the palace walls. Ministers gathered in

groups, discussing with each other ,fear can saw in their eyes.

this disaters create many problem for them but the emperor was known for his wisdom and kind heart. Under his guidance, they minimized damage, reduced casualties, and ensured the people received shelter and provisions.

Many lives were saved thanks to his leadership.

"Another city washed away yesterday," one whispered, his face pale. "How much longer can we endure this?"

"The granaries are running dry," another muttered. "If this storm continues, everything will destroyed."

"refugees numbers were increasing every day ?" a third voice said in serious tone "Every day, more flood into Noah. The city will collapse beneath its own weight."

Their words carried worry, fear, and despair. But even as anxiety spread like fire among them, there remained a fragile thread of hope—because they knew their emperor would come.

The doors to the throne room groaned open.

The sound silenced all voices.

The Emperor

The emperor entered.

He was sixty years of age, his long hair white as fresh snow, and his beard flowing down to his chest. Yet age had not withered him. His body remained like that of a warrior in his prime—broad-shouldered, thick with muscle, the aura of strength radiating from every step. Time had carved wisdom into his eyes, but fire still burned within them.

The ministers rose as one, bowing deeply.

"All hail the Emperor!"

"All hail the Emperor!"

The emperor walked to the throne, his heavy cloak dragging across the polished floor. He raised his hand, and silence filled the chamber.

"My friends," he said, his voice deep yet calm, a voice that carried authority and compassion alike. "I know why you fear. I feel the same storm that you feel. I hear the cries of our people. I see the destruction outside these walls."

His gaze swept over them, steady as the mountains.

"But let it be known—Diamond Heart does not break."

The words struck like steel against the air. The ministers straightened, their trembling hands stilled.

"The Eternal Graveyard fell long ago. The Beast Continent knows no peace. The undead rule the Fourth Continent. The Central Continent devouring itself with wars. But here—here we endure. Here, we stand as one. And so long as Diamond Heart endures, everything came back normal.

The ministers bowed once more, voices echoing:

"All hail the Emperor!"

there eyes emperor nodded, but he can see tension in their ey.

"Still, words alone will not shield us. We must act. We must plan. The storms are getting worse day by day, and they will not end by chance."

A minister stepped forward, trembling slightly. "Your Majesty, do you believe… this calamity was natural?"

The emperor's eyes narrowed. For a long moment, silence. Then he answered, voice low.

"No. This is no mere storm."

The ministers exchanged uneasy glances. If the storms were not natural, then what force had brought them?

The emperor clenched his fist upon the armrest of his throne. His muscles bulged beneath his robes, veins standing out like cords of steel.

"Something fell from the skies eight months ago," he said. "Something that shook this world to its core. Since that day, the storms began. Whatever came with that meteor… it is the source of this disaster."

The ministers stiffened. They all remembered the falling star, the impact that brightened the sky like a second sun. None had forgotten.

The emperor leaned forward. His eyes burned.

"And so," he said, "we must uncover the truth. If there is a man—or a monster—who brought this storm, then Diamond Heart shall be the blade that cuts it down."
