Chapter 2 - Stuck on you..

My right leg was throbbing like crazy, and I felt the pressure of time slipping away.

Clack! Click!

Clack! Click!

I couldn't stop glancing at my watch. I was dressed in a fitted top paired with wide-leg pants, accentuated by a flirty shade of lipstick.

(Maybelline Superstay Matte) that was definitely kiss-approved.

To top it off, I wore some comfy yet stylish heels.

. .

. .

The moment had finally arrived. I tidied up my hair a bit before making my way to the front door.

As I opened it, however, my smile wavered upon seeing my presumed sister-in-law.

I have noticed several instances where she and my husband are sitting together in some rather cozy positions, exchanging naughty whispers and flirtatious touches.

It leaves me a bit puzzled about their relationship.

I'm not quite sure if she is my sister-in-law or a side chick!!

She was dressed in a chic, tightly-fitted dress and was wearing stylish block-heeled sandals.

Her makeup, especially her perfectly applied pout, looked absolutely kissable!

After seeing me, she displayed a look of disappointment.

So disappointed!!

As if she had anticipated someone else's arrival.

That person is my bastard husband!!

"Um!" she stammered, "I thought you were William, I—I mean, my brother."

I smiled reassuringly and replied, "Your beloved brother isn't home right now, but don't worry, you can wait for him, dear sister-in-law."

I allowed a friendly, albeit slightly insincere, smile to grace my face.

I stepped outside, minding my own business, and my excitement was evident on my face.

Crunch! Crunch!

In the neighborhood, he was quite famous. There was a time when he got into a serious fight, almost taking the life of another man.

That unfortunate individual ended up in the hospital, where he has remained in a coma for two years now.

Ever since that incident, he has taken a completely different path.

He regrets what happened deeply and makes it a point to visit the hospital every day.

He also covers the hospital bills to support the man he hurt.

Surprisingly, despite his tough past, he hasn't harmed even an insect since. Every day, he reflects on his choices, striving to be a better person.

Anyway still going to meet my saviour!!

Crunch! Crunch!

Thud!

Thud!

The gatekeeper approached and opened the gate for me, greeting me with a warm smile.

"Welcome, dear!" he said. "You look stunning today," he added in a soft whisper.

My cheeks flushed a bright red.

"Thank you!" I replied, feeling a bit bashful.

"The boss is upstairs, ma'am," he informed me.

"Okay, thanks!" I responded with a smile as I continued on my way.

As I ascend the stairs, the sound of my heels clicking echoes around me.

My heart races, and I can't quite pinpoint why.

It's certainly challenging to be in close proximity to an attractive man without letting it affect me!

Yet, through it all, I remain a faithful wife.

I opened the door with a sense of grace as the music played softly.

The lyrics echoed in my mind

Stuck on you

I've got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can't lose.

Guess I'm on my way

Needed a friend

And the way I feel now I guess I'll be with you till the end

Guess I'm on my way

Mighty glad you stayed.

Gosh!!

What a romantic scene!!

Song by Lionel Richie.

He was standing there, looking quite dapper, a friendly smile lighting up his face as he approached me.

Music: So hard to see.

Making my life more difficult.

Music: That a woman like you could wait around for a man like me.

Clutching a book, he moved closer, that charming smile never fading.

Music tone: Guess I'm on my way.

That's it!!

I can't resist today!!

Ella's breath caught in her throat, her body tensing again, but this time, it wasn't from fear.

It was something else—something raw and primal.

Bon sensed it, his touch growing bolder, his fingers tracing the curve of her neck, his other hand sliding down to rest on her hip.

"Bon," she whispered, her voice barely audible, her eyes still averted.

"I don't know if I can…"

He silenced her with a kiss, his lips pressing against hers with a fierceness that took her by surprise.

It was a kiss filled with desperation, with years of unspoken words and unfulfilled desires.

Ella resisted at first, her hands pushing weakly against his chest, but Bon was relentless, his mouth moving against hers with a hunger that was impossible to ignore.

Slowly, her resistance melted away, her hands falling to her sides as she surrendered to the moment.

Her lips parted, inviting him in, and Bon deepened the kiss, his tongue tangling with hers, tasting her, claiming her.

His hands moved deliberately, tracing the curves of her body, his touch both tender and urgent.

He pulled her closer, his body pressing against hers, his heart racing as he felt her response to him.
