Chapter 13 - I took a 3d image of them kissing.

"Nancy, did you think I was an idiot? You assured me no one would show up for the meeting. I'll take charge of it, but now his ridiculous wife shows up! What is going on?" Victor said so frustrated

Trying to stay calm.

"Breathe, Victor. I'm sorry. I thought this would be our opportunity, but things went awry. It's not my fault. I'll see you tomorrow at Eric's restaurant. Do you know it?" she asked slowly.

"Yes, I know. I'll be there at 10 AM." he replied defeated

"What can I do to make you smile again?" she plead.

"I just need to be alone." He hangs up, overwhelmed with emotion.

Nancy collapses into despair, shouting to herself.

Ah!!

"Why is my life so miserable? Why is it so hard to get these people out of my way? But I'll find a way." she said

Hours later.

I returned home, so tired.

I stepped inside to a surprising scene, the workers clap hands for me, calling me a warrior.

"What's going on? Why are you clapping for me?" I asked confused.

"You inspired us!" all the workers said in one voice

I smiled, grateful for their recognition.

Meanwhile, Nancy wakes William, who is disoriented.

"What? Why am I sleeping? Is it morning already?" he groggy.

Nancy annoyed

"No, it's evening! You've been sleeping while your incompetent wife went to the company and took your place. How could you let this happen?"

Struggling to comprehend.

"What are you talking about?" he said

Nancy cups his face, urgency in her voice.

"Listen, stop being such an idiot. You need to confront her. Get yourself together and put that woman in her face "

William's anxiety spikes, he feels a panic attack brewing.

He runs outside, heart racing, only to confront Ella.

I saw William coming.

But in a different way.

"Who do you think you are? Why did you take my place at the company? Who allowed you to do that?" he asked

"I represented you, William. I didn't take anyone's position. Now if you'll excuse me, I have important tasks ahead." i replied

But William isn't done. He grabs my arm, forcing me against the wall.

"If you ever step into my company again, I'll make you regret it. Do you understand?" he shouted at me.

I was hurt but resolute.

"Okay, let me go."

As he releases me, before i stepped the stairs i saw Nancy , who gives me a reassuring smile.

As I approached her, she whispered, "It's only just beginning," and I could sense the weight of her words.

I felt a need to retreat, so I headed straight upstairs to my room, locking the door behind me to ensure that my bastard husband couldn't come in.

I wasn't ready to have a conversation with anyone not now.

My thoughts were only towards my boyfriend, though I had no intention of revealing that I had been hurt.

Silence became my refuge.

I didn't want to spark any arguments or draw attention that might lead to a confrontation involving the police.

The night dragged on quietly.

In the morning..

I prepared myself carefully. I needed to look presentable, especially for the woman who had requested to see me.

I opted for something elegant and made my way downstairs.

I greeted the staff as I usually would, trying to maintain a façade of normalcy.

To my surprise, I found that the dining table was set only for William and me.

Nancy wasn't around.

That's strange!!

When William spotted me, his eyes lit up with a look of desire.

I chose to ignore it, sitting down at the table in silence.

"Good morning," he said.

"Morning," I replied curtly.

"You look beautiful," he complimented.

"Thanks," I responded shortly, quickly averting my gaze.

A few moments passed before I noticed Nancy entering with a bowl of chicken soup.

I was surprised, she had never shown much interest in cooking, so this was certainly unexpected.

She placed the bowl by William and brought another for me as well.

William took a sip of his soup, scrunching his nose at the taste.

"What did you add to this, Nancy?" he inquired.

"I added some lemon," she replied.

I remained silent, choosing not to involve myself in their love life.

Or whatever they are having!!

My soup was fine, so I consumed it quickly, eager to step away from the situation.

With that, I stood up, feeling the need for solitude.

I didn't want to engage with anyone any longer.

I was outside, waiting for Bon, who was taking his time.

After about ten minutes, I could hear a heated argument coming from his house.

Bon's ex-wife was raising her voice, visibly upset.

"What you're doing to me isn't right. I came back for you, but you don't have time for me. You spend all your time with that woman outside!"

Born responded calmly, "That woman is someone I love. You never loved me; you just want to keep me under your control."

She retorted, "What do I have to do for you to want me back, Bon?"

He replied firmly, "The only thing I'd appreciate is if you went back to Paris and leave me alone."

She feigned tears, saying, "You're hurting me!"

Bon stood his ground, "I don't care, Tessa. Please, just leave me alone."

At that moment, he turned to me and kissed me gently.

"Good morning, my love," he said.

"Good morning, babe! How have you been?" I asked, relieved to see him.

"Just so far, so good," he replied. "Shall we go?"

"Yes, please," I begged him.

"Okay, babe," he agreed, kissing me again.

Then he called out, "Chaz! Go get my car. I want to leave."

"Yes, sir," Chaz replied, glancing at me with a look that suggested he wasn't pleased.

It was clear she harbored bitterness, but none of it was my doing.

Bon took me to the Eric's Restaurant then went away.

This place had an air of sophistication.

Its dress code was strict, ensuring that only well dressed people could enter.

After securing a table, I sat back and awaited the arrival of a woman I had been anticipating.

As I waited, I noticed Victor seated nearby.

He appeared engrossed in a glass of wine, lost in thought and oblivious to his surroundings.

A few moments later, Nancy entered.

She scanned the room, and by chance, she overlooked my presence.

Upon spotting Victor, her face lit up with a smile, which piqued my interest.

Recognizing something was unfolding.

I grabbed a newspaper to discreetly shield myself while observing the scene.

I felt compelled to witness everything, driven by the urge to expose what might develop into a shocking situation.

To my amazement, they embraced and shared a kiss such a moment felt almost sacred.

Quickly, I reached for my phone.

They kissed again, providing me with the perfect opportunity to capture this moment.

I took a 3d image of them kissing.

Just perfect!!

I managed to record them discreetly, ensuring I didn't miss any detail.

They remained unaware of my presence and the recording taking place just a short distance away.

After about fifteen minutes, they departed the restaurant.

With my phone safely tucked away, I saved the video.

"I got you now you brat!!" i said.
