Roxxon Oil Company perfectly illustrates the power of capital.
What about Super Heroes?
What about official UN organizations?
They can only stare helplessly!
Samuel was greatly inspired by this!
"Found it—" Samuel's Super Hearing allowed him to quickly identify and locate Kamar-Taj upon arriving in Kathmandu.
"Boom!"
The roar of a sonic boom, a cloud of sound mist generated by acceleration, lasted only a few seconds before dissipating instantly.
In the training ground of an antique, highly characteristic architectural complex, dozens of sorcerers dressed in simple robes were practicing magic under the guidance of Mordo.
Neat and orderly, well-organized.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz—" A golden light appeared in the disciples' eyes, and Ancient One, clad in a golden magic robe, walked out of a portal.
"Teacher," Master Mordo stepped forward to greet her.
Ancient One looked up at the sky: "A guest has arrived."
Master Mordo immediately looked up, only to hear roars approaching from afar, and a figure quickly Attack through the air.
Seeing that they would arrive in an instant, the other party showed no intention of slowing down, but instead got faster and faster—
Master Mordo frowned, glanced at Ancient One who gave no instructions, stepped forward, and released magic with both hands.
A huge circular magic shield instantly opened, almost enveloping half of the training ground.
Seraphim Shield, a magic hailed as the strongest defense!
In Avengers 3, when Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange crash-landed on Titan, Doctor Strange used this magic.
Seeing the sudden appearance of the huge magic shield, Samuel's lips curved slightly, and he quickly swooped down, directly punching the center of the huge magic shield.
"Crack, crack, crack—Bang!"
The Seraphim Shield, known as the strongest defense, shattered inch by inch under Samuel's punch, collapsing with a roar.
The immense impact caused Master Mordo to stumble back several steps, and the nearby disciples were also knocked off balance, crying out in surprise.
"Ding!"
"Combat detected, reward dropped: Astral Projection (Master Mordo)"
With the sun behind him, Samuel slowly descended. If he had a red cape fluttering in the wind behind him at this moment, he would be—Superman!
The Superman who shattered the strongest defensive magic, the Seraphim Shield, with one punch.
No problem!
"Hello, Void Lord," Ancient One smiled and nodded slightly to Samuel.
Samuel raised an eyebrow slightly: "As expected of the Sorcerer Supreme. I'm very curious what else you know, for example—whether I can return satisfied!"
Ancient One responded with a smile: "I hope I can satisfy you. Shall we change locations?"
"Okay."
Samuel agreed, and Ancient One waved a single arm. In an instant, a mirror surface covered with countless rhombuses enveloped the two of them.
Dimension Mirror!
In the Mirror Dimension, the system's drop reward prompt sounded in Samuel's mind again.
"Ding!"
"Combat detected, reward dropped: Dimension Mirror (Ancient One)"
"This is much more practical than Astral Projection."
Samuel rotated his hands, and the surrounding buildings, no, to be precise, the surrounding ground quickly arched up.
In the blink of an eye, the ground and buildings that had arched up on both sides were perfectly aligned, forming a semi-enclosed space that blocked out the sky and sun.
Ancient One stood with her hands behind her back, looking surprised, which made Samuel somewhat curious about exactly what she knew.
She knew he was the Void Lord and that he was here to fight.
But did she know that the purpose of his visit was to obtain the method to control the Time Stone?
Did she know that he could easily acquire other people's abilities?
Fighting, Samuel was not scared.
Even though Ancient One possessed endless powerful magic, as long as he had Dimension Teleportation and the abilities of a replica Superman, he was essentially invincible.
What's more, he could also gain the opponent's abilities from combat.
The more times they fought, the stronger he would become.
What was truly tricky, or rather, what concerned him, was Ancient One's ability to foresee the future. This feeling of 'I don't know what she knows' was quite unpleasant!
Perhaps it was like attracting opposites.
"Dimension Mirror, is it magic learned from a wizard who was pruned from the Void?" Ancient One asked curiously.
Samuel smiled ambiguously: "It's You!"
"Me?" Ancient One frowned, shaking her head slightly: "Impossible. Everything I do is the most correct decision among countless futures. I—could not appear in the Void."
Samuel relaxed and laughed upon hearing Ancient One's words.
Ancient One knew about the Multiverse. Because of the Time Stone and Time Magic, she was considered a master in the field of time.
So she knew about the Void and knew that she would become the Void Lord in the future. Samuel was not surprised by any of this.
What was surprising was that Sorcerer Supreme Ancient One didn't seem to fully know about the Time Variance Authority, and—
The 'most correct decision among countless futures' she spoke of was very likely the 'script' arranged by the sacred timeline.
Just like Doctor Strange exploring the future and finding only one way to defeat Thanos.
But, was that really the case?
Perhaps there were many ways to defeat Thanos, but none of them were the 'result' predetermined by the sacred timeline.
So those futures, those possibilities, all failed because they were pruned by the Time Variance Authority!
