Chapter 191 - Chapter 191: Barbara Gordon and Batman Are Confused by Harley Quinn!

"Click!"

The camera's flash suddenly lit up, and Harley Quinn, with a smug look, pressed the shutter repeatedly at the brown-haired girl lying in a pool of blood.

Before long, the unconscious brown-haired girl was photographed in countless poses under her manipulation.

Satisfied, Harley Quinn helped her put on her clothes and even used her home phone to call an ambulance for her.

"Tsk tsk tsk, Miss Proper, I didn't expect you to be the daughter of Commissioner Gordon of the Gotham Police Department. Are you going to arrest me, to hand me over to the Police!"

"Barbara Gordon, right? You must hang on and not die. I said I would break you, make you live in regret for the rest of your life!"

Harley Quinn shook her head and said a few words, then turned and walked towards the open window, preparing to leave.

Just then, a huge bat Shadow flew directly in through the window, blocking the departing Harley Quinn.

"Hi, Batman!" Harley Quinn waved to Batman in surprise, as if a fan had seen an idol, and excitedly introduced herself, "I'm Harley Quinn, it's great to see you here!"

Batman's gaze went past Harley Quinn and saw Barbara Gordon lying in a pool of blood.

Barbara Gordon was shot in the abdomen, her condition was unknown, there should be no one else in the room, Commissioner Gordon was either dead or not here.

Batman withdrew his gaze and looked back at Harley Quinn.

Harley Quinn's dress, appearance, reaction, and demeanor reminded him of someone.

Joker!

Moreover, Batman knew Harley Quinn, she was an intern Doctor at Arkham Asylum, her original name was Harley Quinnzel, and she was Joker's psychiatric attending Doctor!

Obviously, she failed.

Not only did she fail to cure Joker, but she was also influenced by Joker and became another Joker, or rather, The Joker Girl!

She had a uniquely shaped gun slung over her waist, a gun Batman recognized as belonging to Joker.

Did she shoot and injure Barbara Gordon? Or did she team up with Joker, one injuring Barbara Gordon and the other kidnapping Commissioner Gordon?

"Where is he?"

Batman's deep voice sounded.

Harley Quinn blinked, "Who are you talking about?"

"Joker!"

"Joker is locked up in Arkham Asylum, didn't you forget? You're the one who sent him there!"

Batman shook his head and still said in a low voice, "Dr. Quinnzel, you should have had a brighter future, but unfortunately, I can only arrest you."

Barbara Gordon's injuries were unknown, and Commissioner Gordon's whereabouts were unknown. Batman decided to deal with Harley Quinn first and then handle the subsequent matters.

Batman suddenly raised his hand and threw a Batarang at Harley Quinn. The Batarang was not fast and its angle was very direct. As long as Harley Quinn dodged, he would seize the opportunity to rush over and knock her unconscious.

This was a very simple and effective method of subduing!

However, what Batman never expected was that Harley Quinn didn't dodge at all, but instead smiled and actively went towards it.

"Pfft!"

The Batarang hit Harley Quinn directly in the neck, and blood instantly spurted out.

"Ah— I'm dead!" Harley Quinn shouted while spurting blood.

Then, with a thud, she fell straight to the ground, lifeless.

Dead!

She, she actually died?!

Batman was completely stunned. He had thought of many possibilities, but never this one!

She actually— actively sought death?!

"Damn Joker!" Batman cursed in a low, fierce voice.

He felt that Joker had manipulated Harley Quinn to willingly seek death, and the purpose, of course, was to provoke him, or it was very likely just a simple greeting to tell him that he had arrived!

Joker was capable of such a thing, and he had done it more than once!

Harley Quinn's death left Batman filled with regret, self-blame, and anger.

It was he who killed Harley Quinn!

Although it was an unexpected accident, and it was not his intention, Harley Quinn was indeed killed by his Batarang.

Accidental killing?

Perhaps.

But he knew that he could have used other methods, or attacked other locations, to capture Harley Quinn!

He simply chose a spot that ten out of ten people would dodge, to save time and be more effective.

What he never expected was that Harley Quinn was the eleventh person out of ten!

The sound of an ambulance approached from outside the window. Batman paused, took a deep look at Harley Quinn's body, then quickly walked to Barbara Gordon, picked her up, and jumped out the window.

"Whoosh—"

With a swing of his grappling hook, Batman, holding the grappling gun in one hand and Barbara Gordon in the other, landed in front of the ambulance and handed her over to the Doctor.

Afterward, Batman retracted his rope and flew back up, preparing to return and deal with Harley Quinn's body.

But—Harley Quinn's body was gone!

He was certain Harley Quinn was dead, which meant someone had been there all along and had taken Harley Quinn's body during the brief moment he went down.

Who was this person?

Joker?

Why take Harley Quinn's body? Was there some secret on the body?

Batman analyzed as he quickly searched the vicinity, but unfortunately, he found no anomalies.

Helpless, he could only relay the message back to the Batcave, asking the other Batman to investigate the situation there, while he himself went to Arkham Asylum to find Joker.

Although he felt Joker was definitely no longer in Arkham Asylum, Joker was capable of anything and could not be judged by common sense.

On a rooftop under the night sky, two figures suddenly appeared silently.

Gazing into the distance, a giant Batman gradually moved away, disappearing among the dim buildings.

White athletic high heels stepped on the edge of the rooftop. Harley Quinn, who had supposedly died from a Batarang to the throat, now had no wound on her neck, not even a mark.

Her beautiful neck was fair and smooth, very alluring!

"Is the big Batman going to find Joker? That direction—is that Arkham Asylum? But Joker isn't there anymore."

Samuel chuckled, "You just told him Joker was locked up in Arkham Asylum."

Harley Quinn said seriously, "I lied to him, who knew he was so naive he actually believed it. Hehe, did you see his expression when I died? It was so funny, he looked like a dazed goose!"

Samuel let out a dry laugh. Not only did Batman not expect it, even he didn't expect Harley Quinn to be so eager to court death!

Yes, with the Dionysus Factor, she couldn't really die.

But it would hurt—
