But after I was revelling in my victory, I got a notification from [Great Sage] skill that I wished for which was the foundation of rimuru's abilities, it says "Notice, you have received a letter from the omnipotent being known As "ROB""
I froze, my concentration shattered. A letter? From ROB? Now?
Open it, I commanded mentally.
I was confused at first, thinking that I have already gotten all my wishes listed and that I didnt think i needed anything else, but I should appreciate ROB for the fact that he granted all of my selfish wishes
[Great Sage]: Acknowledged
There was a beam of golden light that listed infront of me, and from it was a liyue styled scroll, that was floating midair, so I slowly unscrolled it, like it was some sacred relic (technically it is, since its from "ROB") and slowly read the contents, thinking that the being was gonna give me something generous, but it gave him something else, which shocked me for what was written inside.
Dear Aether/Or Should I Say Y/N
The wishes that you have asked for have been granted but there are issues with them that I have found out when resonating the wishes to your soul. So I'm writting this letter to you, to warn you as well as offer special tips that i should bring to your attention before you continue your journey.
The main concern about the wishes you made is your "Fourth Wish" - Where not every element from the statues of the seven will be correlated or linked to some of the main elements that have been seen or used throughout the animeverse that you have listed. For example the "Dendro" element that you will be blessed with from touching the statue of the seven in Sumeru latter on is considered a "Nature/Forest" element, in which it was never present in the avatar universe (which the closest thing to manipulating nature in the verse, was using water bending to manipulate the water from the veins, roots, and plant stem of plant that they are bending). Similarly, in the Naruto universe, the direct manipulation of nature is the exclusive domain of the "Wood Style" Kekkei Genkai, which is a fusion, not a base element. Since in the game, the creators categorised "Dendro/Nature" element as its own element, there is not much correlations that you can gain from the other verses for you to have an advantages in this world.
The closest thing that connects to the "Dendro" element that you can gain from the anime multiverse, would be "Plant Magic" from the "BLACK CLOVER" universe that can help you manipulate plants as a base.
What i recommend for you, in order to counter this issue, is to simply use your "Degenerate" Skill that you mentioned in your "First Wish", and combine the "Dendro" elemental skills that you will gain from the statue, with the "Plant Magic" that you will also gain, to create new nature abilities to make up for the lack of other skill trees that are not present from the other universes that you have listed. And like you said, you can create new "Hybrid" skills with "Degenerate" to help you on your journey to mastering the element as you choose, couple that with "Limitless" and "Evolver" to help you push past the limits of those skills, you can basically manipulate, control, wield and evolve the nature element better than most anime characters, like Hashirama Senju (this will be locked, for you need both "Geo/Earth" element from Liyue, and "Hydro/Water" element from Fontaine to combine them to create the Kekkai Genkai from the Narutoverse like what Captain Yamato" did when he explained it to Naruto during his training arc for the rasenshuriken), or even better than Mimosa Vermillion, or William Vangeance from the black clover universe,
All I recommend from you is to be creative with your abilities that you have in your arsenel. Your first wish has provided both the framework and foundation for you to become powerful, now you have to do the rest, think outside the box, and be smart with your experimentations on your abilities.
That all for now, and good luck on your journey, brave traveller
Sincerely yours
- ROB
PS; Don't tell anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, about the skills/abilities that you.have wished for, and if your questioned about them. Especially Paimon, for she can't keep a secret very well like in the game. Use your Unique Skill "Great Sage" to come up with a compilable excuses/explanation to end conversation about them quickly.
The scroll shimmered and dissolved into motes of light, leaving only silence in its wake.
Aether leaned back against the statue, processing the message. His mind was a storm of possibilities.
Paimon floated closer, tilting her head. "What's wrong, Traveler? You look like you just read some really bad news…"
He sighed. "Not bad—just… complicated. I said with a sigh.
So ROB wasn't just granting gifts blindly—there were rules, cracks in the system. And his Fourth Wish, the one that made him most excited, wasn't flawless.
I clenched my fist. For a moment, a flicker of disappointment went through me. A gap in my omnipotent arsenal. But it was quickly extinguished by a surge of calculated determination. ROB wasn't just pointing out a problem; he was providing the solution, and it was one I already possessed.
Aether (thinking): "So Dendro doesn't have a direct match in some worlds, where not all elements line up cleanly to other parrelel anime worlds like anemo/wind did just now. Dendro's a problem child. Makes sense… Teyvat doesn't fit neatly into any other world systems. That means no bending-like plants like how you bend elements in the Avatar world, no Naruto-style pure nature element—only Wood Release with a combo since its a kekkai genkai that combines both Earth and Water Nature together, meaning that I would have to get the Geo element from the next nation which is Liyue as well as getting the Water Element in Fontaine that is about 2-3 nations away after Liyue. But… Plant Magic from Black Clover is viable. And with Degenerate, I can fuse Dendro with it to make something new, once i get the dendro element from Simuru Statue of the Seven."
"Plant Magic from Black Clover, and my own Dendro manipulation. If I combine them properly with my "Degenerate" Skill, I could even create my own version of Nature Dominion—a skill no one else in any world has seen."
[Great Sage]: "Affirmative. Suggestion: Begin logging potential fusion trees for Dendro element. Recommended categories:– Healing/Support– Offensive Manipulation (vines, roots, toxins)– Hybrid Synthesis (Geo/Earth element + Hydro/Water element = Mokuton: Wood Style/Nature element - Similar to combine charka natures in the "Narutoverse" )."
Aether smirked. "I like the sound of that. But in order to do so, I would need to make an experimental plan for my degenerative and synthesis plan for me to create a new skill tree for the Dendro/Nature element".
"Great Sage," I commanded mentally, his voice steady. "Create a new dedicated file. Title it 'Dendro Synthesis Project.'"
[Confirmed. File 'Dendro Synthesis Project' has been created.]
"Primary Objective: Upon synchronization with the Dendro Statue of the Seven in Sumeru, we will immediately use the Unique Skill 'Degenerate' to synthesize the base 'Dendro Element' with the 'Plant Magic' system from Black Clover. The goal is to create a new, foundational 'Nature Manipulation' skill that is superior to the sum of its parts."
[Objective logged. Sub-routine prepared for instant activation post-synchronization.]
Second Objective; by Using Degenerate to fuse the core concepts of 'Dendro' and 'Plant Magic' into a new, foundational skill. Perhaps 'Chlorokineisis' or 'World Flora Manipulation.' This would be his equivalent of a Kekkei Genkai, born not of bloodline, but of sheer system authority.
Third Objective; Cross-Elemental Infusion: This was the "outside the box" thinking ROB encouraged. I wouldn't be limited to just Dendro. Once I acquired Hydro from Fontaine and Geo from Liyue, I could use Degenerate again to infuse aspects of those elements into his custom Nature skill. Not to create Wood Style, but to evolve my power beyond it. Hydro for vitality, growth, and poisonous flora; Geo for structural integrity, creating petrified wood or symbiotic crystal-wood constructs.
Fifth Objective; Utilize Limitless Evolution to its upper most limites: With Evolver and Limitless, this custom skill would have no ceiling. It wouldn't just mimic Hashirama's Wood Style; it could surpass it, creating plants that could manipulate elemental energy themselves, or that adapted to enemies in real-time, fueled by his Reactive Evolution body.
"Approved," I confirmed mentally, a slow smile spreading across his face. The problem wasn't a setback; it was a puzzle. And he had the ultimate toolkit to solve it. ROB was right. I've been thinking like a gamer collecting power-ups, not like a creator. I had been given the ultimate toolkit—Degenerate to combine, Evolver to break limits, Limitless to grow infinitely, and Skill Creator/Maker to forge something entirely new from the raw materials. Relying solely on pre-packaged skills from other worlds was a crutch.
Aether sat cross-legged beneath the Statue of the Seven, pulling up his new Geographical Map Layout from World Sage. The glowing holographic map of Mondstadt hovered before him, but his mind was elsewhere—already planning for Sumeru and beyond.
If Dendro doesn't connect cleanly, I'll need to prepare. Combine, evolve, adapt. ROB basically gave me the green light to break the system if I'm smart about it.
The possibilities almost felt endless.
The thought was even more thrilling than simply receiving the powers. He could become something unique, something beyond even ROB's initial calculations. Hashirama's Wood Style was a legendary power in one universe. What would a power born from Teyvat's Dendro, Black Clover's Plant Magic, and enhanced by a slime's ability to devour and evolve, become?
So I wouldn't just be copying powers. I would be innovating. Creating. A true Synthesis.
"Great Sage, log this as primary objective 'World Arbor': The creation of a supreme, adaptive Nature manipulation skill tree. All future elemental acquisitions are to be evaluated for their potential synergy with this objective."
[Logged. Primary Objective 'World Arbor' initialized. The path to true omnipotence is not through collection, but through synthesis and evolution. Acknowledged.]
"Thank you, ROB," Aether murmured, a newfound respect for the capricious being. "The warning is appreciated. I won't waste it."
[Great Sage]: "Acknowledged. Optimal path: continue exploration of Mondstadt while experimenting with current Anemo-based hybrid techniques."
I turned back towards Mondstadt, the wind once again catching my travel-worn clothes. I felt a thrill that was far deeper than the simple acquisition of power. This was the joy of creation, of problem-solving on a cosmic scale. The Abyss Order, the Fatui, the gods themselves... they were playing checkers. I was now playing a game of divine, reality-altering code.
And I had just received the best debugging omnipotent advice imaginable.
I smiled, turning to Paimon. "Let's go. Mondstadt isn't going to explore itself."
Paimon twirled excitedly. "Adventure awaits!"
And with that, the Infinite Traveler moved forward—not just armed with power, but with the knowledge that his greatest strength wasn't what ROB gave him… but what he could create himself.
