1) Scene 1; First Encounter with Dvalin
The crisp Mondstadt air, now a familiar and comforting presence, hummed with the Anemo energy flowing through Aether. He had spent the last hour experimenting, feeling the different flavors of wind control—the circular flow of Airbending, the sharp precision of Wind Style chakra, the structured power of Wind Magic. It was intoxicating.
His enhanced senses, a combination of his new body and the constant analysis of Great Sage, picked up a distant, powerful vibration in the air. A deep, resonant thrumming of immense wings.
["Alert. Detecting a massive bio-signature approaching at high altitude. Energy signature is high in Anemo element, but corrupted by an unidentified malevolent energy."]
Aether's head snapped up. Soaring through the sky, its scales a brilliant azure but its form wreathed in a visible aura of pain and darkness, was a dragon. Dvalin. Stormterror.
He watched from a concealed vantage point as a figure in green—a bard with a lyre—appeared on the cliffs overlooking the lake. Even from this distance, Aether could feel the pure, gentle Anemo energy emanating from him. Venti.
Just like in the game's opening, the bard began to play, his voice a soft melody carried by the wind, pleading with the great dragon. "Don't be afraid... It's me, your friend..."
Aether felt a pang of sympathy. The pain radiating from the dragon was palpable, a discordant note in the symphony of wind he was now attuned to. He remained still, a silent observer to this tragic reunion.
But then, Dvalin's massive head, wracked with agony, turned. Its glowing, pained eyes locked not on Venti, but directly onto Aether. There was a moment of startling clarity, a flicker of something beyond the corruption—recognition, confusion, and then fear.
A fear not of Aether himself, but of the immense, alien potential both Dvalin and Barbatos sensed within him. The dragon let out a pained roar, a sound that tore at the very sky, and with a powerful beat of its corrupted wings, it flaped its wings coindensing the. wind pressure around it creating a tiny miny storm from its wings alone, causing impact towards me and paimon;
"Ahhh!!" - Paimon yells as the dragon decended into the sky, with her almost flying off from the wind burst coming out to much,
I quickly caught her leg whilst she was flailing around, yelling - "I got you!!!" i yelled out as i held paimon leg, who was flailing around from the incoming wind pressure.
I center myself on the ground, realised my hands, then created a tiny wind barrier, using my "Wind Magic" from the archon statue to be able to disperse some of the wind created from dvalins wings away from us to deflect some of the income wind flaps.
After a few mintues of the scream and dvalins flying away, it left behind a single, shimmering object that fell towards the forest being a single, crimson, tear-shaped crystal
I picked it up, already the single, crimson, tear-shaped crystal, and i can already sense it pulsating with a dark, abyssal energy.
Now thanks to my connection with the anemo element, I could purify the crystal, but i'll wait until i get to the knights of favonious headquarters.
[Analysis: Object is a concentrated mass of grief and corruption. Designation: "Tear of the Storm." Recommend caution. Direct contact may have adverse effects.]
So i decided to store the information. The script was proceeding as expected. He continued his journey towards the city, the image of the pained dragon and the sorrowful bard etched in his mind. It was one thing to know the story; it was another to feel its weight.
2) Scene 2; Meeting the Outrider
Soon, the grand stone bridge leading to Mondstadt came into view. And just as anticipated, a flash of red and brown zipped through the air.
"Hey you! Stop right there!"
A young woman in a red outfit, a Vision gleaming at her hip, landed gracefully before him. She struck a confident pose, hands on her hips. "Outrider Amber, Knights of Favonius! You don't look like you're from Mondstadt. Identify yourself, please!"
Aether didn't even need to consciously command Great Sage. The unique skill was already ten steps ahead.
[Proposing optimal social integration protocol. Adopt the persona of a harmless, curious traveler. Minimize perceived threat.]
Putting on his most disarming smile, I bowed slightly. "We dont mean any trouble, where simply travellers from a far away land", I said with a geninunine smile, and i could swear I saw her blushing from this
Amber: Well Look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstadt recently. best you get inside the city as soon as possible. It's not far from here, I'll escort you there.
Paimon: Aren't you here for some other reason?
Amber: I'm not, but not to worry, i can keep you both safe while doing that too. Besides...I'm still not sure if i can trust you three yet!
Aether: I mean, we can't blame you. We are outlanders after all.
Amber: Oh uhhhhh...I'm sorry. Probably not something I should say as a knight. I gave you my appologise, uh...strange yet...respectable travelers.
Paimon: Sounds fake...
Amber: Do you have something against the type of language usage prescribed by the knights of Favonius handbook!? anyway we should get going.
And so they started walking their way to their destination
Amber's eyes then fell on the small, floating figure that had just materialized next to Aether's shoulder.
"Sorry but i didnt get your name, who might you be? His... traveling companion?"
Paimon puffed out her cheeks. "Paimon is Paimon! And this is—"
Before she could finish, Aether reached over and gently patted her head, a mischievous glint in his golden eyes. "This," he said with a perfectly straight face, "is my emergency food supply."
Paimon shrieked, stomping her tiny feet in mid-air. "EMERGENCY FOOD?! How many times does Paimon have to tell you, Paimon is NOT emergency food!"
Amber stared for a second, then burst into genuine laughter. "Hahaha! Okay, okay! Anyone who can make a joke like that in these tense times can't be all bad." Her initial guard was completely down. "Come on, let me escort you into the city. But first, let me deal with some hilichurls camps nearby before going to the city". She said with a smile
As Amber turned to lead the way, chattering happily about the city, Aether exchanged a look with Paimon, who was still fuming.
"It was a necessary deception," he murmured mentally to Great Sage.
[Affirmed. Social integration successful. Threat assessment of 'Outrider Amber' has been lowered to negligible. Proceeding to Phase Two: Integration into Mondstadt.]
Following the cheerful Outrider, Aether allowed a small, genuine smile to touch his lips. The pieces were falling into place. The dragon was corrupted, the Archon was in disguise, and he was the wild card, the variable with the power to rewrite the entire story. And his first act was to successfully convince everyone he was just a harmless, storytelling traveler with a floating emergency food guide. It was a perfect start.
As we continued walking I can tell that Amber was glancing at me during our walk, until i realised how much of a dense character aether was in the beginning of the journey, where he hasnt realized that how atractive he was, but I knew so, I plan to change the pace a bit
Aether; "Does something catch your eye, miss outrider" I said in a low teasing tone
Amber (who was blushing a bit after seeing my tease); "N-Noo, Im just wondering what are you doing here in Mondstadt"
Paimon: Aether got separated from his sister during a really really long journey. Paimon is his travel companion, helping him to find his sister. Kisara is also our friend, she is strong just like Aether.
Aether: Yeah, were haven't found her yet i'm afraid....
Amber: oh, looking for your family member...huh. Okay!, let me finish my other stuff first, and then I can help you put up posters around the city...
Aether: Thank you, that would be very helpful.
As they made their way to the giant Waypoint, they noticed a Helichurls walking towards their camp
Paimon: Hilichurls
Amber: Quick get it.
Aether; "Please allow me to help" I said in a formal manner, before I charged at the hilichurls, dashing in with anemo at my feet increasing my speed creating a gust
Amber; "What?!" Amber yelled confused as to how the wind is generated
Paimon; Dont worry, he's really good at this
Ohh how right she was
3) Scene 3: First Battle — The Breath of the Wind
The Hilichurls growled as they spotted the duo, brandishing wooden clubs and spears. One threw a rock, which Aether effortlessly sidestepped.
He lifted his hand. Wind chakra began to spiral through his veins, his body glowing faintly green.
"Chakra Flow — Wind Style: Gale Blade."
Aether; I took a deep breath and said "Trace On", I murmured quietely, as I accessed my magic circuits that overflowing with a mixture of both "Odd" / "Magicule" and "Mana" as i filled my circuits. But instead of blue light showing from projecting a weapon like in "Fate stay night Unlimited Blade Works" that would show when Shirou Emiya would show. My light was gold, with a hint of turquoise, showing my current element that i was using as a sword, the
The sword appeared was one of the most beautiful swords that amber has ever seen as this traveller materialized from "Projection Magecraft" a glorious, illusory double-edged, tapering to a sharp point. It's primarily deep blue with lighter blue highlights and darker gradient shading. The blade surface includes angular, crystalline patterns along its length, giving a jewel-like, icy look. The guard is intricate and asymmetrical, with gold and bronze tones forming wing-like or flame-like shapes that sweep outward. It has a central blue gem or crystal accent, adding a magical glow. The grip is wrapped in a light-colored, segmented handle that resembles metal or ivory, with a few gold embellishments near the guard. The pommel features a pointed tip and a small, blue crystal at the base, echoing the blade's icy theme. With the overal theme being a mix of gold embellishments and blue crystalline elements, giving the sword an elegant, regal, and frost-infused appearance, that overflowing with his anemo/wind and mana elemental energy.
With one swing, the air cracked — an invisible blade of compressed wind cut through the Hilichurls' weapons like paper.
Two of them dropped instantly, their clubs sliced clean in half.
Aether moved like flowing air, each step guided by Airbending instincts. He twisted, kicked, and the air responded — forming small cyclones that tossed the enemies aside.
[Great Sage]: "Wind Style combined with Airbending and Anemo resonance. Efficiency: 95%. Integrating spell from Black Clover database — Piercing Tornado Needle"
I then manifests a miniature vortex of wind and elongates the vortex to create needle-shaped spears to attack the Hilichurls. And thanks to my "Magicule Battery" from my first wish - (that acts as a battery for producing near limitless magicule energy) - I multipled the vortexes to attack multiple hilichurls at once.
I then launched at them piercing the flesh of the hilichurls and causing critical damage at them at high speed before they could react before disappearing like in the game.
The air stilled.
Paimon floated nearby, eyes wide and mouth agape. "Paimon's never seen anyone fight like that! You just mixed sword skills, spells, and wind-bending all at once!"
Aether wiped his sword clean as it dissolved back into shimmering particles. Nodding at his own handy work at using one of the "Wind magic" spell from the "Black clover" universe..
I then turned around to see amber, staring at me, with her jaw dropped to the floor, as if i just rewrote her understanding of the element, in which i did
Amber; H-H-HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?!?!, Not even Acting Grand Master Jean has that much control over anemo like you do!!!
"Just… a little wind training," I replied modestly.
"A little?! You practically turned the battlefield into a dance floor!"
Paimon beamed proudly. "Told you he's special!"
Amber laughed. "Well, consider me impressed. Thanks for helping me with the clean up, traveller, Now then, Let's continue heading towards Mondstadt—you've earned some rest!"
I was trying to be modest, but I already know that I'm more capable then this, but for know, I'll wait for the right moment to rewrite the script entirely.
