Peter held a steel pipe in each hand, rolling his wrists as he eyed the black symbiote, his movements full of malicious intent.
The black symbiote hated that—furious, it charged at him.
Peter raised both arms and smashed the pipes together.
CLANG!BWOOOONG—
The metal let out a deafening ring, trembling violently in place.
The sound mixed with an irritating, piercing vibration—enough to make the black symbiote recoil instantly.
Seeing the effect, Sandman manipulated the yellow sand, rubbing it against other metal pipes.
The grinding noise of sand against metal made even Peter's scalp tingle—let alone the symbiote trapped in the middle.
At this moment, it no longer had its previous arrogance.
It couldn't even maintain a humanoid form anymore—its body melted like sludge, trickling down Eddie Brock's body.
"Eddie!" Peter shouted, firing a web and sticking it onto Eddie.
He had to save him.That was what this bully-world Spider-Man believed.
Eddie didn't deserve to die.The real threat was the strange black symbiote.
It was because of the symbiote that Eddie had lost his way and become a monster.
Peter followed the rules of this alternate Spider-Man's world—here, the bully-version Spidey decided the fate of enemies.Peter was only here to complete his trial and offer help when needed.
The symbiote, tortured by the noise, had almost no strength left.
Peter didn't need much effort to pull Eddie free.
He tossed Eddie aside casually, then looked back at the black symbiote trapped in the "eight-tone array," frowning.
Noise restrained it, yes—But noise couldn't destroy it.
How was he supposed to finish it off?They couldn't just stand here banging pipes forever.His hands would fall off.
At that moment, Harry shouted, "I'll send it on its way!"
He pulled out a pumpkin bomb and threw it in.
"What are you doing—NO!" Eddie's eyes widened in terror. He somehow found the strength to leap up, rushing into the eight-tone array.
Peter's heart jumped. "Eddie!"
BOOM!!
The pumpkin bomb erupted into a massive sphere of fire, engulfing both Eddie and the black symbiote.
A sharp, agonized scream tore from them both—then the two figures seemed to dissolve into ash together.
Peter, Harry, and Sandman stared at each other, stunned.
None of them expected Eddie—believed to be controlled by Venom—to make a final choice like that.
To die with Venom.
Clap clap clap clap—
Applause rose nearby.
A few bold spectators who had stayed behind, along with camera crews who carried heavy equipment, rushed over once they realized the villains were gone.
"Great job, Spider-Man!"
"Nice work, Sand-Guy!"
"So cool! Green-Armor-Man!"
Sandman and Harry: "???"
Why were their nicknames so weird?
"Hello, Spider-Man! Can we get an interview? Are Green-Armor-Man and Sand-Guy your new teammates?"
"Sand-Guy seemed to be fighting you earlier—why is he your ally now?"
"Spider-Man, are you married?"
"Green-Armor-Man, you're Harry Osborn! The new chairman of Oscorp!"
"This is bad—should we get out of here?" Peter suggested.
"Yeah!" Harry and Sandman nodded quickly. All the cameras and questions were making their skin crawl.
They headed for Harry's apartment—an upscale building in a wealthy district where normal people couldn't get in. It would keep reporters and curious crowds out.
On the way, Peter came up with a good idea.
He noticed something the bully-world Spider-Man, Harry Osborn, and Flint Marko (Sandman) all had in common:
They all had financial problems.
Bully-world Spider-Man, though adored by the public and spiritually fulfilled as a hero, was actually struggling.
He had no stable income. His only paycheck came from sending selfies to the Daily Bugle.
Peter remembered there was a term for this on the blue bird app…"Posting for tips."Different method, similar essence.
This Spider-Man couldn't even afford an engagement ring for Mary Jane.
Part of this was because he hadn't learned to balance his masked life and his real one.
Seeing him made Peter truly understand what Amazing Spider-Man B used to lecture him about.
Maybe that Spider-Man had gone through the same hardships as this bully-world Peter.
Flint Marko was the same.
On the way to Harry's apartment, Peter learned more:
Flint had a young daughter named Penny Marko who suffered from muscular dystrophy—a genetic condition.
It wasn't too obvious while she was little, but around age ten, she would gradually lose the ability to walk and need a wheelchair.By around age twenty, she might die from respiratory failure or heart failure.

But he said he did plan things carefully—His targets were never civilians.
At first, he robbed underground fight organizers—crooked people who skimmed fighters' pay, rigged matches, and trafficked illegal substances.
Later, he only robbed banks.
"I'm not a bad guy… just unlucky."He repeated this throughout the trip.
As for Harry—
He seemed the most well-off.
He had inherited his father Norman Osborn's vast Oscorp empire—worth hundreds of billions.(Spider-Man 3 is set in 2005, and Amazing Spider-Man stated Oscorp was valued at $200 billion.)
But after Norman—transformed into the Green Goblin—slaughtered all the board members in public, Oscorp's stock price had crashed.
Then the miniature fusion experiment Harry invested in, under Dr. Octavius, failed disastrously.
Oscorp was now worth barely a tenth of its peak—around twenty billion.
