Another years had vanished into the past. So much had shifted, and even more continued to unfold. Life refused to pause for anyone, and for me, it certainly hadn't slowed its relentless pace.
I had evolved...Christ, the transformation was staggering.
School was nearly behind me now, just weeks before it became official.
A graduate. A legitimate degree-holding adult.
The reality still felt surreal whenever I dwelled on it.
There were moments I doubted I'd survive that initial semester, juggling academics, pregnancy, raising Cooper, and preserving my mental health. Yet I persevered. I pushed through. The endless nights without sleep, the tears I shed into my pillowcase, the moments I nearly surrendered—all of it brought me here.
My son, my precious little boy, had begun preschool back home with my mother. That choice hadn't been simple.
