The chaos with Iris and her family had left me, had left everyone, deeply disturbed. I had seen the anger and hatred in Lady Vivian's eyes for Iris. Not that it was wrong. Iris deserved everything that was coming to her.
Her family was trying to create chaos, and all we were doing was trying to survive and destroy Iris and her evil family.
"Zoe," I called. I did not want to scream at her, but I could not stop myself.
"What is it?" she asked as she entered the guest house.
"Can you please stop the children from making those noises? You're supposed to control them. Instead, you're running around like a child with them," I complained in a harsh tone.
Zoe glared at me before turning to leave. However, she suddenly stopped and looked back at me.
"Well then, if you're so annoyed, why don't you go back home to your father? This place is too dangerous for you anyway."
The way she said those words with little respect made me clench my jaw.
