Lara:
"I do not know if I should be saying all this."
I paused, and she instantly reached for my hand, giving it a squeeze to let me know she would never judge me and that I could be as honest as possible.
"Here are my thoughts. Since I have lived with an alpha father and had my fair share in pack affairs, I have realized that Iris and her family's actions are absurd," I said, watching Lady Vivian slowly withdraw her hand.
Seeing her look so scared was going to help me in the long run.
She needed to understand the urgency of getting rid of Iris instead of sitting and waiting for an opportunity to appear.
"First Iris showed up. Then her mother. Now suddenly her father is here. Do you not think she is bringing her family here one by one to observe everything around us? And let us not forget that the East is not very friendly with us."
I paused, took a deep breath, and shook my head as if I were worried about our pack's future.
