I ended up in a very light and white room which is the opposite of the room I am trapped with. Compared to the cold room
"Dear child… Don't ever let yourself be deceived by someone easily. Strangers will continue to come and approach you as you have it inside your heart as a parasite" the warm voice said and I felt a warm embrace on me.
"But who are you lady?" I asked again while I was trying to hold her hand.
"You know who I am, I am there at the very beginning until the end. I exists in the past and I still exist in the future, dear one" she said and she pushed me out which made me fall for I don't know how long was I falling.
'Ahhh~ It's to bright… Where am I?' I asked myself but for the meantime I can't open my eyes.
"Your highness, I'm here to wipe you again. Forgive my impertinence" I heard someone said and I felt a warm hand holding on mine.
"Please wake up your highness" I heard her sobbing sound and felt a tear dropped on my hand. I moved my hand and put it on her head.
"Daisyyyy~ I'm awake… Please don't cry" I told her and I saw her looked at me with a shocked expression. When I saw her eyes, I immediately wiped it.
"Yo—your highness!!" she shouted and she embraced me tightly as if I have gone for a long time.
"Yes Daisy, it is I, Celes" I said while I continuously pat her back to calm her down.
"Please wait your highness. I will call for his majesty" she said and she stumbled upon the chair but she stood up and ran again.
"Please be careful Daisy" I said and I sat down while I looked outside the window.
"Don't think that this is over dear host" I heard those cold shivering words again.
"I know… You're a part of me now but then if I die you too will die right?" I said while looking afar.
"What kind of fool a five-year old at that thinking of ending their own life" she replied
"Well, I guess I am a fool after all" I told her with a grin.
"Do you think I will let you interfere with my awakening. HAHAHAH" she said but I did not entertain her.
"Rodent" someone said which made me mad but I am keeping my emotions to myself.
This Ignatius brat! How can he call me a rodent! A very cute human like me cannot be compared to a rodent.
"Your Majesty!" Carl smacked him hard on the head which he immediately regrets it after Ignatius looked at him with a deadly sharp look.
I was observing them and Ignatius was catching his breath, and why does he have dark circles in his eyes? This is suspicious.
"Daisyyy~ The big rodent is here for the first time. Why did he approach first?" I asked her as I called her to my side.
"B—big ro-rodent?" Carl asked and gave a side glance to Ignatius then now he is preventing himself from laughing.
"Yeah~ he called me a rodent then he is the big rodent because he is my father right?" I said while I raised my head high and my brows.
"HAHAHHAHAHA YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! YOUR HIGHNESS" Carl said while he repeatedly smack his back.
"Guards! Lock up the commander on the darkest cells for 3 days with no food and water" he demanded and it's a bit sad because Carl is being dragged by a group of knights.
"It's nice to see you again your highness!!" Carl shouted while he was being dragged out of my room.
Ignatius is a bit weird because he is now looking at me with those worrying eyes of his.
"Summon the magic tower again" he demanded and they did what they were told.
"Celes, are you okay?" Ignatius called with his worrisome eyes again while he continuously caressing my hand.
"I am okay, your majesty. It's sad because my life didn't end the way you ever wanted" I replied with a mischievous smile.
He kept his mouth shout for the time being.
"But how long was I asleep?" I asked him and I was looking deep in his eyes.
"For 10 months… You were asleep for 10 months" he said while he took my hand and put it on his cheek. I felt his lips pressed on it, I was going to pull back my hand but I didn't because it was the first time he was showing his soft side.
10 months?! How come it was 10 months! It feels like it was just hours or a day at most.
I just pat his shoulder to calm him down but then I don't know why tears are starting flow down my cheeks. He noticed it and he immediately wiped it with his hands.
"Don't cry Celes… I will never ever let you experience that again, I promise… and I am sorry my dear child… I am truly sorry" he said while he immediately embraced me.
"It was so scary… I thought it will going to take over my body and I am scared that it will harm a lot of people. I resisted, I did try but it was thanks to the lady who let me escape" I was crying while he was holding my hand… I don't know why I suddenly shared him my experience in that dark dream.
Maybe… Just maybe, I want him to know how I feel… How scary that felt, for the first time in my life, I was able to cry again and share my worries again with a father figure.
I felt him hugging me tightly but then…
"This is amusing… You are crying Ignatius?" a familiar voice interrupted. When I looked at him, he was smiling from ear to ear.
"Hi! My name is Lulian, I am the empire's only archmage" he said with a very sunny vibe.
I slightly pushed Ignatius away and was to greet him but I collapsed. My feet are really weak.
"Don't force yourself child. You don't need to stand to greet him because your body has never been used for 10 months so it is understandable" Ignatius commented as he carried me back to bed.
"Oh~ I forgot to introduce my little assistant… This is my son Lucian Vincentius Thorne, he is nine years old. I was not going to bring him here but he blackmailed me into coming, he said that he will burn the whole tower with my research materials if I will not take him with me so bear with me" he said with an exhausted face.
"Ha! Like father like son. Don't you think Lulian?" Ignatius smirked and he was clearly provoking him.
"Well~ It is better this way than your relationship with your daughter Ignatius. You are nothing like her. HAHHHAHA" he replied while he bring his tongue out.
I don't know what I am looking at but this is so childlike fight. It's exhausting just watching them.
