Okay, so this chapter is going to be a bit short since they're going to be interacting with them one-on-one.
Enjoy.

As I sat in between my two families, who were just staring at each other and only occasionally sipping the tea the servants had brought them, I only sat uncomfortably in the silence.
This wasn't supposed to meet like this. Dad was staring daggers at Father while he was simply drinking his tea.
Mom was just staring at Mother, looking up and down at her, checking her figure. Mother was doing the same.
And finally, Charlie was trying her best to make small talk with Hornet, but she simply ignored her.
How did this happen? When I finally summoned the city, Dad was immediately there along with Mom.
It was really weird trying to explain how this all happened and that my birth parents were currently here, and almost immediately they demanded to meet them, which led to this now.
But not wanting to sit here in silence, I got up from my chair, which caught everyone's attention, and from there I spoke.
"So, this is really awkward, my birth parents meeting my adoptive parents, so why don't we all take a break for now and—" I was cut off when Dad interrupted.
"Now hold on now, adoptive parents? If you ask me, we should be called the real parents! Because WE were the ones who took care of him!" he said, staring directly at Father.
Father calmly placed his tea down on the table before speaking.
"Well… it is an honor finally meeting you, Your Highness, and though our first interaction may seem… strained, I assure you we don't plan to steal him away," he says with a calm and radiant glow.
Dad simply frowned at this and sulked in his chair.
Mom, on the other hand, finally finished examining Mother and spoke up.
"Though I must say you do have his likeness, I only have one question: why do you appear now? Am I to assume you are merely here because… our son is to ascend the throne?" she says to Mother.
"Well, our meeting today may seem abrupt, but I assure you, as his mother, I can assure you we have been alongside him long before you had found him," she says, looking directly at Mom.
Mom and Mother simply stared into each other's eyes, each one not willing to admit defeat.
"Well, I for one think it's nice we get to finally meet! For starters, allow me to properly introduce myself: Charlie Morningstar," she says, giving a bow.
Hornet simply looked at her and again ignored her. This caught Charlie's attention, causing her to pout a bit.
"You could at least tell me your name, you know?" she tells Hornet.
"And why should I?" Hornet says, looking at Charlie.
"Well… I…" Charlie didn't know what to say until Dad stepped up.
"Hey! Tell your daughter to act nicer! That's my daughter you're talking to!" he says, his horns appearing and his wings flaring up a bit.
"Well…" Father then stood up and revealed his wings made of pure light, which made Mom and Dad flinch a bit before quickly composing themselves.
"As much as we would love to reprehend Hornet and her behavior, she simply doesn't listen to me and only listens to her mother's orders," he says.
Mom and Dad looked toward Mother, who simply shook her head, signifying that she wasn't Hornet's mom.
"Wait, if you're not her mother, then who?" Mom asked, curious.
Mother simply got up from her chair before opening one of the doors leading to their bedroom and gestured for Mom to follow.
Mom, though reluctant, followed her anyway. Father did the same and gestured Dad to do the same.
Then Hornet, though irritated at Charlie, did the same, which caused me to be left alone in the meeting room.
Great, just great. What are they gonna do now?
