Chapter 76 - Date Knight pt1.

I was currently inside my room getting ready for my date with Bee today. I was wearing a rather fancy-looking suit Dad and Father had made ever since they started hanging out.

But to be honest, it was a bit much. Yes, it was elegant and most likely the right attire for a first date, but knowing Bee, she does not really enjoy those fancy types of gatherings and clothes.

No, what she liked was something more free and down to earth. So, not really satisfied with my current clothes, my maids sensed that I did not like my current outfit. Moving quickly, they got rid of my clothes and placed them inside the drawer.

I thought of what I should wear, and then it hit me. Something more simple but stylish was in order, so snapping my fingers, the maids quickly brought out my clothes and laid them out on my bed.

Turning to them, I looked for the perfect clothes, and that's where I found it: my old black jacket from when I was younger. Sure, it was small, but using a bit of magic, I quickly turned that old and tiny jacket into something new.

It swirled in white energy, its form changing slowly. White lines then began to form inside the jacket, making intricate designs, and my symbol forming on the back.

When it was finished, it became a much larger jacket that resembled a trench coat more than anything else.

Satisfied with my work, I began to create something to wear underneath it. Thinking of what could be the perfect undergarment hit me like a hammer.

A simple black vest would do, so imagining the clothing I wanted and using the souls within me as the material to substitute for the missing materials needed, I created the perfect black vest for myself.

Everything was ready; all I had to do was put it on. But as the maids picked up my clothes, I realized I forgot to create pants. So, wasting no time, I simply created simple white pants that were slightly loose for me to wear.

Once the maids had fully clothed me, they brought a large mirror for me to inspect myself with. Once I was satisfied with the clothes I was wearing, I nodded to myself and told my maids to clean up.

They did as they were told and began cleaning my room as I walked over to my collection of shoes.

Most shoes did not really fit me, seeing as my feet were like claws, so I have a rather small hobby of collecting and creating shoes that would suit me.

Looking at my collection, my eyes landed on a pair of black formal shoes. Grabbing them, I quickly placed them on and headed outside.

Once I left my room, I began walking towards the castle's exit, but that's when I stumbled upon Hornet holding a tray of food.

"Oh, afternoon, Hornet. What's the food for?" I asked.

"It's for your baby of a sister—the one you asked me to babysit whenever she would visit," she said, looking up at me.

"Well, as long as you guys are having fun," I said, patting her head and walking past her.

"Oh, trust me… we're having loads of fun," Hornet whispered to herself with a grin before heading towards the training ground.

"What was that?" I turned to ask what she said, but she had already disappeared.

Shrugging at this, I simply went out of the castle and into the shining city. Once I was finally outside, I began making my way towards a sweets shop.

As I walked the streets, the many bugs and insects began to bow as I passed by them. Naturally, I gave a small wave to each and every one who did so.

Once I finally reached my destination, the citizens inside were happily chatting and eating sweets of different varieties—though this chatter was quickly silenced when I reached the counter and spoke.

As silence filled the air, I simply spoke to the employee and ordered a box of chocolates, since chocolates were the definitive sweets to bring on a date.

The clerk nodded and quickly began preparing the chocolates for me, placing the small treats inside a pink heart-shaped box and, using red silk, wrapped it up before placing it inside a bag.

Grateful for this, I grabbed my wallet to pay them, but as expected, they refused to accept any money from me and simply told me that having me visit their store was enough.

I smiled at their generosity and grabbed the bag, but before I left, I grabbed something from within my eye and pulled it out. It was a rather sizable gold bar. I placed it down on the counter as a tip for their hard work and left the store.

Suffice it to say, the clerk was rather shocked—as was everyone who was lucky enough to see that scene.

Once I had left the store, I began walking towards the city's many parks. Once I was inside, I could see children playing, flying kites, and playing with their pets.

As I walked and took in the sights, I made it to the park's many flower fields and grabbed a bunch of black and white roses to give Bee.

Picking them up, I began creating a bouquet of roses to give, and once I had done that, I took a deep breath to ready myself.

It has been years since I last dated someone, and I am quite rusty at it.

So once I was ready, I moved all my gifts to my right arm and grabbed the location Bee wanted us to meet. Reading it again, I did not immediately recognize where that was, but after visiting the Gluttony Ring a few times, I knew a place rather close to that location.

So, placing the piece of paper back into my pocket, I grabbed the very fabric of reality and ripped it open.

Stepping through the rift, the once-red sky of the Pride Ring quickly changed to a bright orange color.

Now that I was in the Ring of Gluttony, I looked around and began asking questions to the nearby residents.

This did not go so well, though, as most of the citizens would either run in fear or just stand there in shock and become unmoving like statues.

But after a few minutes of trying to ask them, a kind old hellhound lady pointed me in a general direction. I was thankful someone finally helped me, and with a grateful nod, I began walking.

The walk was not too long—about five minutes—before I reached the place we were supposed to meet up. It was a rather large orange building and had a massive sign on top of it.

"Welcome to Hell's Kitchen!" an overly energetic hellhound spoke with too much energy.

"Uh… hello?" I said, rather confused.

"Hello! You must be Master Stygian! Lady Bee awaits inside!" the hellhound said, opening the door for me.

"Uh… thanks," I said, stepping inside the building.

Once I was inside, I finally got a good look at the place, and to my amazement, it was a buffet.

Piles of food were placed on tables, and lines of hellhounds were waiting for their turn to get their food.

But as I looked around more, I finally saw Bee on one of the tables, waving at me.

I waved back and walked towards her.
