Naruto ignored Obito and left.
Otherwise, the scene would only become more chaotic, the situation would grow bigger and bigger, and it wouldn't end well.
Yuhi Kurenai still followed behind Naruto.
Naruto was already thinking about how to get rid of Kurenai.
His purpose for being here was very clear—completing the system tasks, gaining more simulations.
Interacting with others was unnecessary.
Naruto walked in front; Kurenai followed behind.
After a while, Naruto reached the temporary housing Sarutobi Hiruzen had assigned to him.
Kurenai stood at the door and asked, "Kamizuki-kun, can I come in?"
By this time, Naruto had already figured out a way to get rid of her, so he said, "Sure."
After Kurenai entered, she looked around.
Not seeing Naruto's parents, her heart sank slightly.
It seemed her earlier speculation was correct.
Naruto suddenly appeared in Konoha as a newcomer—something must have happened outside.
And she still hadn't seen Naruto's parents.
It wasn't hard to imagine what Naruto might have gone through.
Feeling sympathy, Kurenai comforted him, "Don't worry. Konoha is safe. Everyone here is like family. Your days ahead will get better and better."
"Huh?" Naruto looked at her in confusion.
He had no idea why she suddenly said that.
Kurenai shook her head slightly and began tutoring him.
Naruto pretended to cooperate.
But during the lesson, Naruto intentionally kept steering the topic toward genjutsu.
As a future genjutsu master, Kurenai had loved genjutsu since childhood, so she chatted enthusiastically.
Before they realized it, it was already late. Naruto sent Kurenai off, deciding that in a few days he would show her a genjutsu, let her understand it herself, and then she wouldn't have a reason to keep visiting him.
The plan went smoothly.
A few days later, after school—
Kurenai came over as usual to tutor Naruto.
Naruto was about to show her a genjutsu.
"An illusion?"
Kurenai stood up in surprise and asked, "Kamitsuki-san, didn't you just learn how to refine chakra and practice hand seals?"
"But I figured out a genjutsu," Naruto said innocently, his big blue eyes looking sincere.
Kurenai still found it unbelievable, but her love for genjutsu was stronger than her doubt. She asked excitedly, "Kamitsuki-san, what does this genjutsu do?"
Naruto didn't hesitate. He raised his hand, began forming seals very slowly, then pointed the completed hand sign at Kurenai to cast the illusion.
For some reason, at this point, Kurenai was confident Naruto wouldn't harm her.
So she didn't dodge.
As the genjutsu activated, another "Kurenai" appeared in front of them.
Kurenai's small mouth opened slightly, her eyes filled with shock.
She raised her hand and poked the cheek of the fake Kurenai. "It really looks exactly like me~ How did you do this?"
"Kid, don't touch me!" The illusionary "True Heart Kurenai" slapped her hand away and asked with an annoyed expression, "You coward, why won't you beat up that guy who doesn't know his place?"
"Huh?" Kurenai was even more shocked. "You can talk?"
Seeing her real self ignoring her, the illusion became furious and tried to hit the real Kurenai.
But Naruto stopped her.
Kurenai stepped back and looked at her "true heart" in confusion. "You… what do you know?"
The illusion glared at Naruto, then at Kurenai. "Listen! I am your true heart, and you should be true to me, but look at the way you disguise yourself!"
"Uh…" Kurenai suddenly felt her scalp go numb. She lowered her head, not daring to look at the illusion, and said to Naruto, "Kamitsuki-kun… you should cancel this illusion."
She was a little frightened.
Because this was just too strange.
Naruto, however, was very interested in the illusion's words. He ignored her request and asked, "Hey, who is the 'guy who doesn't know his place' you're talking about?"
The illusion sighed. "Who else? That stupid toad trying to eat swan meat~"
Hearing that, Kurenai immediately panicked. "What are you talking about? How can you say that about Asuma?"
Naruto: "…"
Oh.
So the "stupid toad" was Asuma.
Regarding Kurenai's reaction, the illusion rolled her eyes. "That guy uses his identity as the Hokage's son to openly declare he likes you. Isn't that a problem already?"
"You rejected him several times, yet he still shamelessly clings to you."
"Because of him, even if you meet someone you actually like, you wouldn't dare admit it. And now all the boys in class keep their distance from you. Isn't that messed up?"
"Why? Why must you like him just because he likes you? Just because his father is Hokage?"
"Is he s**t or what?!"
The illusion became more and more agitated, while Kurenai was stunned.
Perhaps she was too young for this.
After all, someone suddenly appearing and knowing everything about her inner feelings was terrifying.
Naruto also heard the implications from the side.
Thinking about it carefully, it made sense.
In the original timeline, during the Chūnin Exams, Asuma and Kurenai weren't together yet.
But here, Asuma started pursuing her back in the Academy.
Asuma liking Kurenai was true.
And pushing for so many years showed his sincerity.
But because of his status, Kurenai had almost lost the freedom to choose.
Almost no one in Konoha dared compete with him.
And boys kept their distance from Kurenai.
In the end, Kurenai accepted Asuma—maybe because she was moved by his sincerity.
Or… it was a quiet surrender to political pressure. Hard to say.
Girls in this world were very stubborn.
In the original story, Naruto liked Sakura for years, yet Sakura never changed her mind.
And Hinata waited for Naruto for years.
But if someone like Asuma existed in Sakura's or Hinata's world?
If a "young master" of Konoha was the same age as the Rookie 12…
And he liked Sakura—
No boy would dare get close to her.
Even Sasuke, a fallen Uchiha, wouldn't want trouble with the Hokage's son.
Sakura could reject him, but the young master would ignore the rejection.
Years later, the bond between Sakura and Sasuke would fade.
Of course, Naruto in the original story wasn't a "young master."
Even though his father was Hokage, his father was dead.
Naruto himself didn't even know who his father was.
There was no power behind him.
Others wouldn't avoid Sakura just because Naruto liked her.
