If you think about it this way, it becomes understandable.
At this moment, the true feelings inside Kurenai's heart seemed to darken.
She had felt pressured by power at such a young age.
Naruto thought of this and released the genjutsu.
Kurenai sat in the chair in a daze, not knowing what she was thinking…
"I'm sorry. I didn't know something like that would happen."
Naruto apologized to her.
Kurenai shook her head slightly. There was a faint sadness between her eyebrows, but she hid it well.
She said to Naruto, "It's not your fault. Let's talk about the genjutsu instead. What's the principle behind it?"
"Then what are you going to do?" Naruto didn't answer her question.
The question was thrown back at her again, but Kurenai chose to avoid it. "I don't know… let's wait and see. Maybe that guy's popularity will only last three minutes."
Naruto already knew the outcome of Kurenai's choice to wait.
But after all, he was an outsider. It wasn't easy for him to interfere.
So Naruto began discussing the genjutsu with her.
Afterwards, he recorded the principles and hand seals of the genjutsu and handed them to Kurenai.
Sure enough, Kurenai was overjoyed to receive it.
Her eyes even sparkled as she looked at Naruto.
Amazing.
He had barely begun learning chakra, yet he could already create his own illusion technique.
And it was such a powerful one.
Even more, Naruto didn't treat her as an outsider after her reminder—he shared the genjutsu with her.
Because of this, Kurenai felt even more responsibility for Naruto's written test performance.
What Naruto didn't expect was that after receiving the genjutsu, Kurenai actually refrained from practicing and instead became even more serious about tutoring him.
This made Naruto feel helpless.
But the next written test was coming soon.
Once Naruto's grades improved, Kurenai wouldn't need to tutor him anymore.
…
Time passed quickly.
The next written test arrived.
The system seemed furious about Naruto's performance last time.
This time, the system issued another written test task.
[Ding~ System Task Issued: Obtain your first positive score in the written test.
Reward: +1 Simulation Chance]
Naruto noticed the system task and couldn't help but smile.
Compared to last time, the system's requirements were different.
But two extra words stood out: "positive score."
Still, that wasn't a problem for Naruto.
Very soon—
The written test began.
And ended.
The instructor finished grading the papers, then stared at the perfect-score sheet in shock.
"Although I find this unbelievable… the first place in this written test is the new classmate, Kamizuki Aoba!"
"It seems Yuhi Kurenai's tutoring was very effective."
[Ding~ System Task Completed. +1 Simulation Chance]
Below the podium, Naruto ignored the looks around him and happily opened his status panel.
Very good. Now he had accumulated ten simulation chances.
If Naruto used them all, his strength would definitely rise to another level.
Reaching near Six Paths level wasn't impossible.
Others had very different reactions.
Asuma stared at Naruto with jealousy, gritting his teeth like he wanted to tear him apart.
Obito looked at Naruto with horror.
What was wrong with this transfer student?
If he wasn't last place, then wouldn't Obito be…
Really.
The instructor continued reading the rankings.
"The last place: Uchiha Obito."
Obito: "…"
…
Soon it was dismissal time.
With no reason to tutor him anymore, Kurenai didn't dare to approach Naruto rashly.
But she had a good friend—Anko.
Anko was shocked when she learned Kurenai didn't place first. "How is that possible? I know your level. Did someone cheat?"
Kurenai shook her head and told her about Naruto.
Anko said in disbelief, "That guy definitely cheated! How could someone learn YEARS of knowledge in ONE week? That's impossible! Let's go question him!"
Anko had a straightforward and impatient personality. She dragged Kurenai along to look for Naruto.
But Kurenai refused.
She believed Naruto wouldn't cheat.
But Anko wasn't someone who backed down easily.
So the following scene occurred—
That afternoon, after classes ended, not far from the school gate—
Kurenai stood behind Anko, covering her face.
Anko twirled a kunai in her hand, walked arrogantly toward Naruto, and asked, "Hey, brat! Tell me! Did you cheat?"
Naruto looked at the little Anko who was two heads shorter but acting full of arrogance. The corner of his mouth twitched. "I, Kamizuki Aoba, did not cheat."
Anko snorted. "I knew you wouldn't admit it! I'm going to issue a ninja mission and have someone investigate you!"
Kurenai: "…"
Naruto: "…"
Kurenai rushed over, pulled Anko back, and said to Naruto, "Sorry, Kamizuki-san… I really can't persuade her…"
"It's okay. This little one is quite cute." Naruto chuckled, praised her, and casually patted Anko's head.
"HEY!" Anko exploded. "You're not allowed to touch me! Do you hear me?!"
She lunged at Naruto, teeth bared, wanting to teach him a lesson.
But Naruto blocked her with one hand.
The scene looked quite ridiculous.
Kurenai finally managed to calm Anko down.
Naruto thought the farce was over, but unexpectedly—it had only just begun.
Asuma and a group of his followers surrounded Naruto.
Kurenai knew Asuma's personality well and quickly said, "Asuma, Kamizuki-san and I have nothing going on. We were just doing lessons! Don't think too much."
Asuma curled his lip. "Kurenai, don't get involved. Today, I just want to see who dares provoke me!"
Naruto looked at the little brats surrounding him and couldn't help laughing—not even bothering to hide it.
Hearing Naruto laugh irritated Asuma even more.
He shouted, "You brat, how dare you laugh?! Tell me! What did you do to Kurenai?!"
Actually, Asuma knew perfectly well nothing happened between them.
But he still wanted to teach Naruto a lesson.
Because he was unhappy.
He wanted to send a message to everyone—
Anyone who got close to Kurenai would have trouble with him.
Naruto clicked his tongue, walked around Asuma twice, and shook his head in disappointment. "I didn't expect you to have such strong little–young master syndrome."
"What did you say?!" Asuma glared.
He knew he was in the wrong.
But he couldn't lose face.
So Asuma threatened Naruto, "Brat, you're new here, so you might not know my identity. Listen carefully—I'm the Hokage's son. Don't get close to Kurenai again. Understand?"
Facing Asuma's threat, Naruto showed complete disdain.
Then he asked lazily:
"Otherwise… what will happen?"
