Chapter 9 - OTKE Chapter 9: A World to Understand

Hades' third race didn't choose a combat-oriented class. Having an ultimate warrior and an ultimate magic caster was enough.

Adding another combat class wouldn't make it 1+1+1 greater than 3. Instead, it might lead to a decrease in strength due to the numerous skills and complex operations.

However, this might only be the case in YGGDRASIL. Now that he was in the real world, the characteristics of the undead were affecting his spirit.

As a human, this feeling wasn't very good, but his mind was surprisingly calm.

At the moment when he panicked at seeing his skeletal hands, his mood calmed down in the blink of an eye.

This feeling was as if he was being forced to calm down. Hades judged that it was probably a characteristic brought about by the undead body.

Therefore, he judged that if the third class was a combat class, he might be able to break free from the shackles of the human body due to the undead's characteristics and calmly operate the magic and skill combinations of the three classes, unleashing the strongest effect.

Of course, this was just Hades's guess when he first became an undead. He couldn't know what the real situation would be. The current class combination was what he had chosen after trying dozens of combinations.

Although it couldn't be said to be perfect, he could use this combination to face any situation. In terms of weighing the pros and cons, the benefits definitely outweigh the disadvantages.

So for the third class, he chose a production class. This not only made it easier to repair his equipment but also saved some money. Although he wasn't short of money in his original world, he didn't want to be a sucker.

Compared to combat classes, there weren't many types of production classes. For production classes, the level of ability depended on the level of proficiency. In short, it was about constantly producing items and equipment to increase proficiency.

Almost all of Hades' third race character's hundred levels were filled with production classes, so this character had no combat ability.

In YGGDRASIL, there was naturally no problem for players who wholeheartedly only played production classes.

But because the operator stipulated that one person could only register one account, few people would completely give up combat ability for a production class.

Few players like Hades used all hundred levels for production classes. And because Hades possessed the "Seed of the World Tree," he naturally didn't care about such a class combination.

Although he was an elf, Hades didn't feel much different from humans. This put his mind at ease, because with the undead as a precedent, he thought that the elf's body would also have feelings that were very different from humans, but from the looks of it, there were no changes.

"Based on the current situation, the items and abilities from YGGDRASIL can all be used." Hades stroked his chin and looked at the hay bale in front of him. He suddenly reached out his hand.

"Greater Appraisal Magic Items"

As a magical light flashed, a string of information entered his brain. Then Hades obtained information about the hay bale.

Item: Hay Bale

Magical Effect: None

"Uh..."

Hades felt like an idiot. Did he really need to appraise something like this? He could tell with his eyes that it was a pile of hay. And he used a seventh-tier magic to appraise it.

If he were in YGGDRASIL, his friends would scold him for being too bored. But now it was to test whether he could cast magic.

Although the elf character belonged to a production class, it's not without magic and skills. For example, the blacksmith could provide him with 10 levels of combat, and with the 15 levels of the base class "Warrior," he had 25 warrior levels.

Of course, this was also because the warrior class could provide a certain stat bonus to the blacksmith.

So when pairing with a production class, Hades gave up the chef class, which he thought was useless, and chose the warrior.

As for the alchemist and pharmacy-related classes combined, they could provide him with 45 casting levels, allowing him to cast up to seventh-tier magic.

However, although he had warrior levels and casting levels, it didn't mean that he could learn the skills or magic of regular warriors and magic casters.

The skills and magic that the elf character possessed were almost all related to the production class. Even though he had some combat ability, it was almost negligible for a normal level 100 player in YGGDRASIL.

"Items can be used, magic can also be used, but skills..."

Hades looked around. This livestock shed didn't look very sturdy. If he used a skill, it wouldn't just cause a commotion. The shed would probably collapse.

Enri's father had kindly taken him in. He couldn't break their shed.

"Hmm... I remember there was a forest when I came here."

Hades touched the "Seed of the World Tree" and then activated it. He transformed into an undead character.

Although the feeling of being an undead wasn't good, only the undead character could use teleportation magic.

"Greater Teleportation"

The scene before his eyes changed, and Hades came to the sky above the forest he had passed by earlier.

This place was some distance from the village, so it wouldn't matter if he made a commotion, and it also maintained a certain distance from Nazarick.

"Nazarick..."

Hades' thoughts suddenly stalled. He looked in the direction of Nazarick, and the "World Will" suddenly appeared in Hades' hand. But after a moment, he put the "World Will" back.

Hades didn't know if he would have transmigrated to this world if he hadn't come to the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Maybe he would have, maybe he wouldn't have.

Speaking of which, the reason he logged in was because of that battle with the "Ainz Ooal Gown" guild leader many years ago.

Of course, that was in the past for him. He just wanted to put an end to his former youth before coming to Nazarick.

But unexpectedly, he encountered such a bizarre thing. The past grudges were already in the past for him, and he had no reason to blame the Ainz Ooal Gown guild for causing his current situation.

Coming to reality, and seemingly not even in the original world, there must be some reason for this bizarre thing.

Hades didn't believe that there would be things in the world without any reason. In his original world, he was a "winner in life." He didn't want to stay in this almost primitive world forever.

However...

Hades looked in the direction of Nazarick again.

Could it be that members of this guild who committed evil in YGGDRASIL had also come here?

Although the Great Tomb of Nazarick had also come to this world, if no one was online when the game shut down, they probably wouldn't have come here.

No, that wasn't absolute. He couldn't contact the six members of his guild right now. Hades thought that they would definitely wait until the end to be forcibly ejected from the game.

If the condition for transmigrating was being online, then why couldn't he contact the six guild members who were online? Maybe it was just a random selection from the online players.

Thinking this way, Hades felt a little more at ease. Maybe Nazarick was just an empty shell right now, with no players inside.

But all in all, the most important thing right now wasn't Nazarick, but to understand this world.
