The instant defeat of one Gyarados did not make Gu Yuan complacent; instead, he seized the opportunity to launch another attack. White light enveloped Charizard, followed immediately by a surge of Hurricane that crushed toward the four Gyarados.
Alakazam used Teleport.
Under the restraint of Alakazam's Confusion, the Gyarados that had just taken a Hydro Pump was unable to break free immediately.
Seizing this chance, Annihilape appeared directly in front of the Gyarados. A punch landed, and the Gyarados's massive head was instantly smashed down, striking the sea surface and splashing up a large amount of seawater.
Having achieved their goal, Alakazam and Annihilape vanished again, leaving the three remaining Gyarados to endure Charizard's attack. Ignoring their anger, the three Gyarados attacked together. Three Hurricanes surged forth, colliding with Charizard's attack. Five waterspouts collided and collapsed on the sea surface, creating a somewhat apocalyptic sight.
The moment the power of the Hurricanes dissipated, Alakazam and Annihilape suddenly appeared behind one of the Gyarados.
Alakazam used Confusion to restrain it, and Annihilape delivered another punch, which landed right on the Gyarados's midsection. In the next moment, this Gyarados bent into a U-shape before flying out. When it landed on the sea surface again, it was knocked out and had lost its ability to battle.
"Charizard, use Hurricane for suppression!"
"Alakazam, Annihilape, keep attacking!"
The continuous falling of their comrades made even Pokémon like Gyarados feel fear. Unfortunately, by chasing Gu Yuan, they had strayed far from the swarm, and their collapse was too rapid for the other Gyarados to come to their aid.
Hurricane descended, forcing the two Gyarados to retaliate. Appearing again from the alternate dimension, Alakazam had already restrained one opponent. Annihilape threw a punch, and the fourth Gyarados fell at its hand.

The moment Gyarados fell, Alakazam used Teleport to appear beside Annihilape, using its psychic power to help it float in the air.
Repeatedly using Rage Fist had caused a tremendous drain on Annihilape's stamina. Charizard and Alakazam were in a similar state; one was continuously using powerful Moves like Hurricane, and the other was constantly using various highly draining Psychic-type Moves.
Fortunately, Gu Yuan's efforts were paying off.
The First Mate, after leading a charge with his Pokémon, had already stabilized their advantage. After that, just as Gu Yuan had planned, all the Intermediate Rank combatants were left behind to tie up the remaining strength of the Gyarados swarm. The First Mate then led a portion of the Senior Rank combatants to support Nori.
Facing the encirclement, even though the three Gyarados were Ace Rank, they began to fall into a disadvantage.

Sheer Cold was a powerful move that can instantly defeat an opponent, but it has low accuracy if the target is not an Ice-type(Ice types are immune to Sheer Cold), making it a powerful weapon in type-advantage battles. Sensing the danger, the three Gyarados desperately unleashed their power, attempting to defeat Starmie immediately. Little did they know that this action gave Dewgong the perfect opening to attack.
"Go, Dewgong, use Sheer Cold!"
Nori's voice rang out, and Dewgong shot out like a torpedo. Then, it slammed its tail heavily on the sea surface. Ice crystals appeared, rapidly freezing everything around them, and the freezing radius continued to expand.
The three Gyarados perceived an immense threat from these ice crystals and instinctively tried to retreat. Alakazam used Teleport and suddenly appeared with Annihilape behind the three Gyarados.
