Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 Night

"But General Zod's arrival is just one of the disasters to come."

"It's more difficult to solve, but it's not unsolvable."

Batman understood his implication: "There will be more disasters in the future?"

"There are many, for example, Seaside City might be attacked by alien monsters."

"If it succeeds, Earth won't even survive Zod's arrival."

Batman's head started to hurt again.

"What else?"

"And Darkseid, you may not know much about him, just know that he is a god from another planet."

"And his power is different from ours. He is a complete god. I think you can understand the seriousness of the matter by saying this."

"Okay, now that we've talked about the disaster of alien invasion, let's talk about the interior of our planet."

And? Let's just say, can we just move to another ball?

Jason, who was standing by, also understood for the first time the complete disaster that the earth was about to face. He felt terrified just by listening to it.

This made him unable to help but complain in his heart.

"Go on."

Batman seems to have adjusted his mindset.

"Have you heard of the legend of Atlantis?"

"Of course, you don't want to say this country is real?"

"Unfortunately, it's real, and it's hidden deep in the ocean."

"Over the years, humans have polluted the marine environment in pursuit of industrial development, and they are reaching their limit of tolerance."

"War?" Batman said seriously.

Once a war breaks out, it will be equivalent to human beings killing each other.

It is wrong to support either side, and the Justice League cannot have a political stance.

Although he has just joined, Batman has already begun to think from the perspective of the Justice League.

"Yes, war. This crisis is difficult to deal with."

"It's not about how much force is needed, but how the Justice League can resolve the dispute peacefully."

"Using force to force a ceasefire is certainly simple, but it easily leaves the hidden danger of 'superhuman power'."

Not everyone can resist the temptation to rule the secular world with power.

Once the Justice League gets a taste of power, it's hard to say who won't be addicted.

In his later years, Injustice Superman showed signs of being eroded by power, and his changes were not entirely due to regret for the Lois incident.

Batman was surprised that he could think so far. He did have doubts in his heart about Dane's desire to control the world.

Now it seems that I was biased against him.

"The problem with Atlantis is how to stop the war before it starts. I already have some ideas on this issue." "Let's move on to the next one, the Three Palaces Demon."

The previous problems are nothing compared to this one. Sangong Demon is a master whose true form can destroy the universe.

If this guy really comes, not only the Earth but also the DCEU will be finished.

Unless Dane can grow to the multiverse level in the later stage, he will be helpless against this person.

But the problem with the Three Palace Demon is the magic side, and there is not much that Superman and Batman can do to help.

"Therefore, our Justice League's goal for the next period of time will still be to recruit more new members, especially those on the magical side."

"Batman, there's a magician named Constantine who I'm leaving in your care."

"I have some things to do in Gotham..."

"Most of the criminals in Arkham are dead. Who are you going to take?"

Batman: ...

"I think even if there are any fish that slip through the net, you can leave it to Jason. He is doing things very efficiently now."

Killing them all was a breeze. Batman was a little upset.

Seeing this, Dane continued to use moral blackmail:

"Bruce, compared to the dangers facing the entire world, Gotham's security is really just a small problem."

Seeing that he said so, Batman no longer refused and accepted the task by default.

Jason stood aside, quietly grinning a creepy smile.

"One more thing, to prepare for future crises."

"Bruce, you should upgrade your Batsuit. It can no longer keep up with the pace of combat, especially against opponents like us."

Batman thought of the scene of Dane controlling the wind and rain in the sky, and nodded. He thought his Batplane probably couldn't hurt the other party.

"So, I plan to open up some technical permissions to you, and you can pick out some useful ones to upgrade your suit."

Dane said as he uploaded part of Umbrella's database.

Incidentally, it was uploaded to him via something Batman had left behind.

So Batman's face beneath the mask was probably as dark as the mask itself, but he accepted it calmly.

At this time, Barbara, who had completed the operation, came out.

Batgirl, resurrection!

At night, on the observatory on the top floor of the Hall of Justice, Dane observed the celestial phenomena.

He was favored by the "Wisdom of Solomon" and was given the book "The Key of Solomon".

There is some stargazing in it that is worth a closer look.

"I really don't understand. With your abilities, you can easily gain greater power."

"Why do these thankless tasks?"

Dane looked back and saw Poison Ivy's almost naked figure appear before him.

Are there fewer leaves on her body than when I first saw her?

When Poison Ivy saw his gaze, she straightened her body, which further highlighted her good figure.

Dane smiled and used his divine power to clear the abnormal pheromones in the air.

"You know this is of no use to me."

Poison Ivy can secrete unique hormones to seduce men and women and make them fall madly in love with her.

She had just tried to use this method on Dane, but unfortunately it didn't work.

Seeing that her ability was ineffective, Poison Ivy didn't care.

"Why not give it a try?"

I don't know if she is hinting at something.

"What are you going to do with me?"

"I haven't made up my mind yet. Until then, just stay by my side and don't cause any trouble for Jason."

"Oh, you men are always like this, wishing you could keep your women by your side forever."

Dane didn't argue at this point: "If I have the ability to do it, why not do it?"

"Huh, I thought you were a superhero."

Poison Ivy walked over to sit beside him, her bare feet sliding across Dane's calves like nimble fingers.

Dane grabbed it and gently set it down.

"I never said I was a hero. Being a hero is very tiring."

Poison Ivy changed her sitting position and continued to physically harass Dane.

"Then why don't you come with me? Wouldn't it be nice to be a simple bad guy?"

This time Dane didn't stop her, he just smiled:

"If I know I'm capable of doing something and I don't do it, that's not my style."

Poison Ivy had never heard of Dane's "prophecy". She thought the world was quite simple, so she didn't quite understand it.

But this did not affect her understanding of Dane's meaning.

"A boring man."

Poison Ivy snorted softly and hopped down the steps.

"I won't be trapped by a boring man like you."

"Then just try and see if you can escape from my grasp."

"I will."

Before leaving, Poison Ivy blew a kiss, and the kiss containing plant spores flew to Dane's face.

The spore itself is non-toxic, but it can irritate the human nasal mucosa, so Dane sneezed.

She chuckled:

"It seems that you can't defend yourself against anything that isn't hostile, right, dear?"

Dane was about to say something when he saw Poison Ivy turn and leave, leaving behind only her back that smelled of roses.

"A rose with thorns."

He shook his head and continued looking through the telescope, conversing with the "Wisdom of Solomon."

Diligence brings success while laziness leads to failure. Even a "god" needs to learn and improve himself all the time.
