Chapter 199 - Chapter 198: Shabak is Born!

The already charred corpse of 'Ismail' was thrown to the ground by Adam; his movements were so fast that Dr. Fate and Hawkman had no time to react.

"What have you done?" Hawkman demanded.

Adam merely glanced at him: "Revenge!"

"He is very dangerous now!" Dr. Fate was conjuring magic again.

Hawkman also simultaneously transformed his weapon, changing his hammer into an axe.

Cyclone first made sure Albert was okay before returning to the battlefield.

But she didn't rush forward; instead, she circled above, waiting for an opportunity.

Adam unleashed the power of lightning throughout his body, staring fiercely at his opponents.

"Now, you are the dangerous ones!" With that, he charged, instantly breaking the sound barrier.

Dr. Fate was the first to engage the opponent; Hawkman was still much slower and couldn't keep up with the suddenly accelerated pace of the battle.

If he couldn't get involved, then Cyclone certainly couldn't, and Albert was still unconscious... However, apart from Dane and Kandake hidden in the Shadow World, no one saw Ismail's corpse suddenly ignite.

Flames born from the void instantly enveloped his entire body; the Shabak crown he wore on his head emitted an eerie magical light.

Dane could see that the 'parasite's' soul had left this body and entered another space, the Rock of Eternity.

After it left this body, Dane quietly activated the dream stone.

The power of the dream spread from the Shadow World to the World of matter, becoming a playground controlled by Dane; he pressed the pause button.

Time was frozen; apart from him, no one could break this prison of time, not even Nabu.

Dane took this opportunity to step out of the Shadow World and take the crown from Ismail's head; on the crown was a curse: "Life is the path to death."

However, this curse actually had a hidden phrase, the exact opposite of the above: "Death is the path to life."

These two phrases hinted at the Shabak ritual: first death, then rebirth, where the soul could resist the Rock of Eternity, accept the power of Shabak, and thus return from the dead.

It was just that when Dane last came to Kahndaq, he killed the real Ismail, preventing him from completing this ritual.

Now, with the 'parasite' inhabiting it, the ritual continued in place of the deceased Ismail.

This idea is actually not a problem.

When the Demon Lords signed the contract with King Acton a thousand years ago, it only stated that his bloodline had the right to inherit the secret ritual, but it did not require that the souls of his descendants had to be the original ones, and they didn't care about that.

Whether it was the original or not, as long as the new Shabak could help them conquer the Earth, that was all that mattered.

But what would happen if the 'thief' who had usurped the body encountered the true Master of that body?

Dane was very curious!

He was the God of Death, and after he killed Ismail, he naturally also obtained his soul, which was still in his inventory.

Dane reached into his inventory and fumbled around, finally pulling out Ismail's soul. He looked at it for a moment, then processed it.

Afterward, he put Ismail's soul back into the body, which had already become a charred corpse.

"Let's see what happens next."

After he was done, he returned to the Void World and withdrew the power of the dream stone.

The moment the dream receded, Doctor Fate seemed to sense something, but he couldn't quite distinguish it.

However, in the midst of fierce combat, how could he allow himself to be distracted?

Adam seized this opportunity, grabbed his cloak, and pulled hard, sending Doctor Fate falling backward, crashing heavily to the ground.

Adam had fought him for so long that he had already discovered this strange fellow had a fatal weakness.

He grabbed with his large hand, single-handedly gripped the helmet of fate, and easily pulled it off. The golden helmet was snatched away by him.

Doctor Fate lost his helmet, instantly revealing his aged face. Kent looked at him in shock.

"Old man, you should retire!"

Adam sneered, tossed the helmet, and the helmet of fate flew far away.

When Cyclone saw it, she immediately went to chase after it.

Kent, without Nabu's divine power, was just a somewhat handsome old man with no offensive capability whatsoever.

Adam didn't bother him either, simply threw him aside, and set his gaze on Hawkman again.

"Now, it's your turn!"

Hawkman was fearless, grabbing his axe and continuing to advance.

Weapons purely made of Nth metal still had an effect on Adam's divine body, so he cautiously dodged.

But just as before, Hawkman's speed was completely inferior to Adam's, and he was almost completely suppressed.

If it weren't for his powerful armor, which could fully protect him, Hawkman would have already been defeated by now.

Adam also found the fight irritating. This guy was clearly inferior to him in all aspects, but he was just too tough, completely unmovable.

Even lightning couldn't kill him.

Yet, this guy just wouldn't give up, climbing back up every time to fight him again, which Adam found very hard to understand.

At this moment, Kent, ignored by Adam, could only try to leave the center of the battle and run towards Albert, wanting to awaken the young man.

But halfway through his run, he suddenly realized something was wrong.

He abruptly fixed his gaze on Ismail, seeing a burning flame. In the flame, the corpse's chest seemed to rise and fall.

"Thump thump"—!

This was a heartbeat!

A chill instantly gripped Kent's heart. He shouted with all his might: "Carter—!"

Hawkman immediately looked over, and Adam also looked curiously, then his eyes widened.

Ismail's corpse floated in mid-air. The flames retracted inward, his skin began to recover, and his physique began to change.

A few breaths of time passed, and a red-skinned, horned demon reappeared before everyone's eyes.

Please give me flowers

Shabak, born!

"Ah~ This intoxicating power!"

Shabak clenched his massive fists, feeling the abundant physical strength and magic in his body, and looked up at Adam in the sky with an evil smile.

"I'm back, Teth-Adam."

Adam immediately dropped Hawkman and swooped down towards Shabak. He gathered all his strength and punched Shabak.

However, Shabak merely dodged sideways, throwing a punch of his own. The huge fist struck Adam's face first, sending him flying.

After transforming into Shabak, he was completely different. Not only did his physical attributes increase across the board, but his magic also directly crossed into the Demon Lord level in one go.

His choice was correct; dealing with demons granted his race a boundless future.

"You are weak, Teth-Adam. You are not worthy to wield the Defender's power."

Shabak laughed wildly: "This power should be used for conquest!"

With that, Shabak flew up with a triumphant laugh and headed into the distance.

He was going back to the United States.

Unlike the Shabak in the movie, the 'parasite'-possessed Shabak was not fixated on Kahndaq; its goal was the entire World.

And to conquer this World, one must first conquer the country with the strongest military power in this World.

In the Void World, the Spirit of Kandake watched Shabak fly away.

"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" she suddenly said.

Dane crossed his arms and said with a smile: "These alien species are very difficult to eradicate, so I need to let them gather completely together and then annihilate them in one go."

"But the Justice League is too strong. Without enough certainty, they would not and would not dare to go all out and do so."

"But now it's different. The Shabak Force is theoretically a power equivalent to Shazam, and he just easily defeated Teth-Adam, who also possessed the Shazam Force."

"This should give them enough courage to face me."

The Spirit of Kandake turned her head: "You don't need to explain so much to me. I only care about Kahndaq's safety."

Dane shook his head and said nothing more.

"Now what are you going to do with them?"

The Spirit of Kandake looked at the Justice Society and Black Adam in the Real World. She didn't have a good impression of these people.

One side was the disgraced Defender who had destroyed Kahndaq a thousand years ago, and the other was the Justice Society who had entered without any permission to release a dangerous felon.

If this place weren't uninhabited, who knows how much damage would have been caused.

Dane was also considering, mainly how to deal with Black Adam.

But before he could decide, he saw the young girl Cyclone chasing a golden helmet in the sky; Adam had thrown it quite forcefully.

Dane opened the door to the Void World and stepped out, with the Spirit of Kandake following behind him.

He reached out and caught the helmet of fate in his hand.
