Chapter 198 - Chapter 197: Ismail: I'm Dead Again?

Dr. Fate spread his hands, and a golden light surged out.

However, Adam sprang up, enduring the impact and punching Dr. Fate in the face.

Like hitting a piece of iron, Dr. Fate was sent flying with a clang.

Dane, who was watching the show with the Spirit of Kandake in the Shadow World, was quite speechless.

Nabu, quickly use your invincible divine power to think of a solution!

He guessed that the 'parasites' might try to release Black Adam, but he didn't expect them to use the Justice Society, and Dr. Fate.

Speaking of which, this version of Dr. Fate is so useless; what's the point of just being handsome if he can't fight?

And it seems he doesn't have a very clear view of future fate.

Seeing Black Adam unleash his power, Hawkman hurried forward to assist.

He caught him off guard, smashing him with a hammer and sending him flying.

"Fate! Are you alright?"

The golden magic shattered like glass, and Dr. Fate emerged from the 'glass'.

"We haven't dealt with him yet."

No sooner had he spoken than blue lightning suddenly lit up where Adam had flown, and Adam roared!

No one knew how he did it, but the lightning exploded like an EMP, instantly destroying the cave here!

Dr. Fate grabbed Hawkman and teleported him to the desert outside.

Cyclone Maxine saw them and tugged at Albert, who was gnawing on a drumstick next to her.

"Look!"

Albert looked over, "Huh? They came out?"

Then they saw the hill they had entered earlier collapse with a rumble.

He hesitated, "Does this mean we're done?"

"I don't think so," Maxine said.

The next moment, a black figure, a bald strong man, burst out from the collapsed hill; his face didn't look like a good person!

"Hey, rookies, remember what I taught you? You can start now!"

Inside the fighter jet, Maxine and Albert heard Hawkman's voice, exchanged glances, and quickly went to change into their battle suits.

For convenience, Albert always wore his battle suit, only needing to take off his jacket and put on his mask.

As for Cyclone, it was less a battle suit and more a green fashion outfit, with only a few pieces of armor added.

Cyclone was the first to jump off the fighter jet; she spun her body, creating a wind that carried her into the air.

She controlled the airflow in the wind, stirring up the sand from the desert; under the powerful wind, the sand became as sharp as knives, cutting at Adam's body.

However, those sands, apart from blocking his vision, caused no harm to his body.

Adam waved his hand, releasing lightning; the lightning struck the wind wall, slightly dispersing it each time, but new sand quickly replenished it.

Gradually, he was completely enveloped by the wind wall, at the center of the eye of the storm; he seemed to be trapped.

Albert stood at the fighter jet's exit, took a deep breath; the height still made him a bit nervous, but he quickly prepared himself mentally and put on his mask.

This battle suit was the one Atom had once worn; it could adapt to his strength and grow in size with the wearer.

Albert jumped off the fighter jet and activated his ability in mid-air; the atom symbol on his chest flashed, and his body swelled like a balloon.

Before long, he was two stories high!

Adam suddenly looked up, and a giant fist came into his view.

With a loud boom, Albert's fist smashed into the center of the wind's eye, driving Teth-Adam into the ground.

"I. Get. It!" he said excitedly.

"Well done! Keep it up!" Hawkman was overjoyed, then he turned to Dr. Fate.

"You can make him say that word, right?"

"I'll try," Dr. Fate didn't dare to guarantee.

He was about to fly down, but Albert suddenly felt some numbness in his arm.

"Hey, guys, you'd better hurry!"

But he spoke a bit late; a blue lightning bolt had already erupted, and Adam's figure burst out from it, punching Albert in the jaw.

This punch was quite brutal; Albert swayed backward, his massive body crashing to the ground, raising dozens of feet of sand rain.

Cyclone quickly enveloped the dust, blowing it onto Adam's body.

Adam had no regard for old, young, women, or children; he treated all enemies equally.

So he raised his hand and shot lightning at Cyclone; seeing Cyclone about to be struck, Carter quickly flew over and used her body to block the blow.

But he too was sent flying by the immense impact, skipping across the sand sea like a stone on water.

Dr. Fate had prepared his magic; countless Ankhs (Egyptian symbols of life) rained down, striking Adam, trapping him on the ground like shackles.

Every time Adam destroyed an Ankh, a new one would appear in the sky, falling to suppress him.

Hawkman saw this from a distance, seized the opportunity, and leaped up.

He gripped his mace with both hands, using gravity to smash the hammer down on Adam's head.

This blow was very heavy; even someone as strong as Black Adam was momentarily dizzy.

"Now!" Hawkman shouted to Dr. Fate.

The other party understood and immediately used his ability to invade Teth-Adam's mind.

[Teth-Adam, quickly say that name!]

Adam's mind was controlled, and his mouth opened, but no sound came out.

So Dr. Fate increased his divine power output.

[Quick, say that word!]

"Sha..."

Adam spoke with difficulty, but it was clear he was very resistant.

"His willpower is very strong!" Dr. Fate said to Hawkman.

However, just then, a missile flew from somewhere, exploding between Hawkman, Dr. Fate, and Teth-Adam.

It was eternal metal!

The blue light of magic exploded, and the three people caught in it immediately suffered magical damage, all flying backward.

Hawkman and Dr. Fate were fine; one wore Nth metal armor, and the other was in divine gear, so the damage wasn't serious.

The worst off was Teth-Adam; he had no protective gear, and his waist was directly cut open by fragments of eternal metal, with blue electrical arcs sizzling within.

But this also caused Dr. Fate's mind control over him to fail; Adam regained consciousness, and he looked into the distance.

A man walked over; he was 'Ismail'.

Dane, in the Shadow World, his eyes lit up; sure enough!

His eyes could see through others' souls, so he instantly saw through the 'parasite' grinning in that body.

"Are you still not making a move?" the Spirit of Kandake asked curiously.

It was already at this point; it should be his time to come out and clean up the mess, shouldn't it?

But Dane had other plans; he had previously envisioned having a demon body, and this idea was very likely to fall on 'Ismail'.

So he said, "No hurry, let's watch a bit longer."

The Spirit of Kandake didn't understand, but she didn't ask further; the two continued to watch.

'Ismail' threw down the launcher in his hand and came before Adam.

"Look at you, this is truly a fated meeting, isn't it?"

Adam clutched the wound on his waist with one hand, looking up at the person in front of him: "Who are you?"

"My name is Ismail, a name you surely haven't heard of, but you must have heard of another name, Acton."

Adam's pupils constricted; he certainly remembered that name.

'Ismail' smiled; he took one hand from behind his back, a crudely made crown, a crown made of eternal metal, hooked on his finger.

Then, placing it on his head, he said with a smile, "I believe you've guessed some things; yes, I am a descendant of King Acton."

At this point, his eyes became fierce: "My family, for thousands of years, has constantly thought about restoring the glory of our ancestors and personally avenging our enemies; now, it is finally about to be realized in my hands..."

Saying this, 'Ismail' drew a curved knife made of eternal metal, its blade pointing at Adam.

"Pay the price for your actions, Teth-Adam; your family, for generations, has been the slaves of King Acton's lineage, forever!"

"No—!" Adam was utterly enraged!

Lightning erupted all over his body, and even his eyes glowed with intense lightning; he stood up, and the lightning healed the wound on his waist.

"Do you think a small injury can harm me?"

He grabbed 'Ismail' by the neck and lifted him high.

The power of lightning traveled from his hand to 'Ismail', electrocuting him into continuous convulsions and involuntary urination.

"If I can kill you once, I can kill you countless times; go to hell!"

In the blink of an eye, 'Ismail' was roasted into a mummy by the high temperature of the electricity...
