I parted my lips trying to imagine how I would lean in for a kiss. My lower lips quivered and I brought a finger to touch it.

The mouth seemed to go dry and my lips felt parched.

After what seemed like forever, Dominic spoke up. "I knew it. You're inexperienced."

"I'm not," I lied once again. "I'm just nervous."

He rose up from the edge of the table. "Let's forget about the kissing. I wasn't even going to kiss randomly without passing through the procedures."

"Which procedures?" I asked myself.

"I had already drafted out what I would like from my doll, and I'd hand it over to you, so you can confirm if you're compatible with all that."

I swallowed hard and expected him to hand me a paper.

"I'd email it to you once we're done from here. After you confirm it, we can go through our contract."

He turned and focused squarely on me with eyes that seemed like they were boring into my soul.

"You still haven't answered my question. Are you ready to be my doll?"
