AURORA MOON
Aurora sat in a chair next to the hospital bed and waited for its occupant to wake up.
Palimona Regent's eyes fluttered open, and she coughed. When she went to cradle her aching head, she found herself unable to do so. Her eyes opened wide and she struggled against the medical restraints, which had been tightened around her wrists and ankles.
Aurora smiled.
"I don't know if you planned a prolonged battle for Kellan," she said. "Or if your goal was merely to torment me until I either went crazy or died from your bullying. Either way, your attempts to steal my husband are for naught."
Palimona's eyes flashed with hatred, her expression feral as she screamed with frustration. "How dare you. Kellan loves me. Me! If you don't let me go, you'll pay for this!"
