Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Thunder Firefly Warlock, You Have to Pay More

Amidst the curses and threats from others, Ryan drove his carriage around the corner without looking back.

"Master! Is this takeout for the Fatui?"

"If you bump into him, we won't have any food to eat at the banquet!"

The frightened groom spoke cautiously to the old nobleman inside.

"We're going to the Goethe Hotel! Let him go this time!" The middle-aged man inside wiped his sweat and tied his tie.

"Are you ready for the lady's gift?"

"Okay! It's a rare antique from hundreds of years ago!" The groom smiled confidently, his teeth white.

In Midtown, graceful fountains spray water in perfect arcs.

Ryan put away the crossbow from the carriage and got off.

I found that the area in front of the Goethe Hotel was very lively, with many carriages with old aristocratic emblems parked there.

One by one, Mond's so-called upper-class people entered the Goethe Hotel with their heads held high but their humble tones could not be concealed.

"What are you doing?" asked Luke, the Fatui guard standing in front of the Goethe Hotel.

"Deer Hunter takeout!" Ryan didn't bother to pay attention to the other party's impolite tone and said neither humbly nor arrogantly.

"Change of personnel again?" Luke muttered, walked to the back of the carriage and pulled open the curtain.

Check and count dishes that have been requested to be delivered.

Ryan looked around and went to the gate.

"Where's the lady? Where's that big lady who's still alive? How come I can't see her?"

"Isn't this a party for her? Why are there only men?"

After a while, another carriage came from behind.

Ryan looked and saw that it was an "angel's gift", so he sent people to bring down boxes of strong liquor.

"Okay! You deer hunters did a great job this time. No soup spilled! Here's the remaining Mora!" Mark came over and handed him a purse.

After Ryan counted the items, they signed for each other and took the receipt away.

Just as I was about to leave, I noticed a commotion at the door.

I thought the lady had come out and immediately turned around excitedly.

He just wanted to see if there were any ladies in real life as...white as those in the game!

A voice full of ambiguous temptation was heard.

"The guy wearing Liyue clothes, wait a minute!"

Suddenly, everyone's eyes turned to Ryan after searching for a while.

He was the only one present who was wearing a Liyue blue shirt.

Ryan was a little confused. Who called me?

The crowd separated,

The Firefly Mage twisted her slender and enchanting waist, and the purple slim-fitting clothes outlined her abdomen, revealing the seductive skin on her waist and arms.

She walked with a light cat-like gait, carrying a lantern that emitted the element of thunder.

Green hair emerged from the hood, and the purple-black mask covering the upper half of the face had strange narrow eyes with purple light.

"Me?" Ryan pointed at himself.

It seems like I have no connection with the Fatui!

The Lightning Warlock walked up to him and said, "You are the chef of the Deer Hunter's otherworldly menu, right?"

"What's the matter?" Ryan felt his skin numbing, and the elemental power of thunder made him feel dangerous.

"I heard you can cook a dish called coral fish, and it's delicious!" The Lightning Warlock walked around him, teasing him with his fingers. "Yesterday, we Fatui didn't order it! Today, since you're here, why don't you make one for us at the Goethe Hotel?"

Ryan suddenly had a toothache: "I don't have time!"

If I refuse like this, I won't be beaten on the spot, right?

"This dish is for the Lady, the Eighth Executive Officer of the Kingdom of Winter! What a great honor!" The Lightning Warlock leaned closer. "Little brother, you'd better think again. Do you want to refuse?"

Ryan noticed the Fatui surrounding him and surrounded him.

"Bring in the food from the carriage! We'll ask this great chef from another world to make a dish!" The Leiying sorcerer put her delicate arm on Ryan's shoulder and took him into the hotel without saying anything.

"That's not good!" Ryan laughed dryly and prepared to mobilize the power of the holy relic.

When you become famous, you attract all kinds of people and even an accident can happen when you deliver a takeaway.

Knights of Favonius, didn't you send any knights to supervise the Goethe Hotel and stop the Fatui from doing whatever they wanted?

"I have a request!" After thinking quickly for three seconds, Ryan measured his own strength before acting impulsively.

Challenging the fools in the Goethe Hotel - like an egg hitting a stone, it breaks into pieces!

"What do you want? Do you want a special fish?" asked the Firefly Warlock. "I'll send my little darling to the Fruit Wine Lake to electrocute one right now."

Purple fireflies with lightning flashes as big as mosquitoes flew out of the lantern, buzzing.

This scene touched Ryan's nerves, making him want to put up a shield.

Take a deep breath, wave your hands, and lie down calmly.

"No, I have to pay more!"

"For your lady, giving me 100,000 Mora to perform at the peak of my culinary skill is not too much, right?"

Rubbing his fingers, Ryan looked at the stunned Leiying Warlock.

"If we waste time, we won't be able to attend the banquet!"

"Okay... okay!" The Firefly Warlock's eyes flashed, and he signaled the Fatui minions next to him to prepare the materials for coral fish and 100,000 Mora.

Ryan swaggered into the Goethe Hotel, which he had never been to in the game.

"Where's the lady? Why can't I see her?"

He looked around inside with disappointment on his face.

"Big shots always show up at the last moment!!" Leiying Mage responded with a smile.

Ryan no longer had any expectations and went to the kitchen of the Goethe Hotel and honestly made a dish of coral fish.

The Firefly Warlock took the food away and left him alone.

Ryan washed his hands and took the reward of 100,000 Mora amid the reluctance of the Fatui minions.

If you hit the villain hard enough, he will fall.

Before anyone else leaves, I wander around the hotel for a minute and go to the bathroom.

I unexpectedly overheard the conversation between these old nobles of Mond.

"We must kill that beast. He has caused us to lose so much Mora, so many manors, and so much business. The Knights of Favonius are doing nothing, but the Fatui are willing to help. We should make it easy for them."

"So many people came this time! They are all our strength!"

Ryan curled his lips.

It turns out to be a bunch of brainless clowns.

You'd think you could borrow the power of the Fatui! Where do you put Mondstadt's prestige?

After listening for a while, he felt that it was not a big deal and there was no need to go back and tell Amber.

When these old nobles came, they didn't try to hide their intentions. Even if the Knights of Favonius were blind, they could still see through them and respond!

Acting leader Qin will not allow the Fatui to interfere.

The sounds at the back turned into small talk.

"I saw someone being thrown out by the Fatui. What happened?"

"I heard that he gave a gift he shouldn't have given!"

"What gift?"

"I don't know? It looks like an antique from the Disaster Period!"

"Someone in the know said that if the Fatui hadn't discovered it and stopped it in advance, I'm afraid that by the time the lady saw it, he would have lost his life!"

Ryan was shocked, it was interesting.

Disaster period?

That's when the lady loses everything!

The old man reveals his scars, he really thinks his life is too long!

He didn't know much about the lady's experience, but he did remember the period of disaster, which was when the lady completely changed and became a witch.

What's not to give as a gift? An antique?

He left with a cheerful face and went into the hall to see if there were any ladies.

Unfortunately, I still didn't see it.

He doesn't have much free time, otherwise he would hide around and take a look.

Going back, with the empty carriage, they sped up and arrived at the Deer Hunter's door in half the time, handing Mora back to Sarah.

"Five-star rating from the Fatui!" Ryan pointed to the evaluation label on the Mora bag.

I didn't want to rest, so I drank some tea and prepared to deliver the takeout to Qingquan Town and Chenxi Winery.

"Dark wings, may you be protected! Mortals destined to surpass the gods, crush all obstacles and return in glory!" Fischl appeared at the right time, and while Sarah was trying hard to hold back her smile, she gave Ryan her blessing.

Fischl's best friend, with a frown on her face, fled in embarrassment.
